Jay Rockefeller: What a Fascist Moron
Constitution? What is that?
In case you missed it, Jay Rockefeller spoke out today on the media and showed his true colors. During a Senate hearing on retransmission consent Jay Rockefeller said, "I'm tired of the right and the left. There's a little bug inside of me which wants to get the FCC to say to Fox and to MSNBC, 'Out. Off. End. Goodbye." Really? A bug inside you? Seems to be the bug is up your (censored), Jay. This is a blatant disregard for the First Amendment, the Bill of Rights, and our Constitution.Don't get me wrong, I would love for Keith Olbermann to be quiet, but it is certainly not mine or the governments say. MSNBC's ratings will take care of that!
would be a big favor to political discourse; to our ability to do our work here in Congress; and to the American people, to be able to talk with each other and have some faith in their government and, more importantly, in their future," added Rockefeller. I guess it never occurred to the Senator that the FCC does not regulate cable channels....OOPS! Guess he also forgot that some citizens have actually read the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
I suppose, being a Senator, nothing would ever come of this. Of course not, a certain Senator from Massachusetts can get drunk, drive his car off a bridge and leave a young woman to drown while he swims to safety, gets re-elected term after term. Why would anyone be outraged at a simple disregard of the Constitution? Disregard seems to be the "in" thing anyway. We elected a President who has no regard for that sacred document, why not a few Senators to go along with him? Can't wait to see the comments I get for that one (chuckling)!
This is another example of what happens when we do not vet our candidates. Hell, they don't have to worry about being vetted while they are in office. They seem to think they can get away with whatever they want once they are in office. I am calling on the good people of West Virginia now; get rid of this (censored)head! Replace him as soon as possible. I believe he was re-elected in 2008, so you have four years to find someone (anyone!) to replace him with.
