The whole nation today is watching the politicians fighting on corruption,2G,CWG,CAG and so many that it is easy and better to say etc,etc....

We the people of India even after 65 years of Independence do not have drinking water in city's let alone rural areas.We do not have 24x7 power in our homes the land sharks are grabbing land where ever they want.We do not have houses and the poor live just as they lived 65 years ago.

In my village Chinnakool just 6 km from National Highway there is one 20 feet road where 2 Buses cross at some point and there is no room for a person who walks on the road to stand still so that the Bus can go and save his life.The local representatives of the people also go in this road but its still the same and any representation will be fruitless as they want the road the way it is so at some point of time they would get the opportunity to repair it and get the kick back so it is fruitless to tell the people not in power.The villagers are helpless and expect the mighty power that be will some day see their sad plight and do something.At night its still worst with pot holes in plenty of places created by heavy vehicles carrying illegally mined stone from the crushers carry there loot of the state in street light less dark roads.Even mud is filtered and sold as sand with special equipment working in deep forests in the area where there are no human beings living.Agricultural workers mostly women are ferried in tractor trailers and these huge wheels of the trailer driven by license less boys travel cutting the road edges making the road more muddy and sandy after the asphalt is removed. Snakes are some times noticed by my driver and I have seen also.We have to stop the car and let the Snake go.

Why the Govt is not spending money on roads,even the roads that are made are gone in few months or after the rains are gone.The people who make the roads bribe the authorities who check the quality of the roads.The roads get spoiled with pot holes created by very heavy and super heavy lorries with as many as 24 wheels.Water Tanks carrying water to water starving apartments continuously leak water all the way and also damage the roads.The police turn the other way as they know that stopping such vehicles will only bring trouble to them and perhaps the monthly kick back will stop if they do stop such vehicles.

This is ROAD OF CORRUPTION one of the arms of CORRUPTION.

There are traces of road made 5000 years ago below the sea but not on LAND laid just few years ago.There are lights burning where its not required just 6 km from my village but no lights in the street coming to my village.There is plenty of water in my village but the over head water tank can't hold more than 6,00,000 liters of water,so water flow from out side the water taps at the residences is restricted for few hours only. There is not a POST BOX in this Village.The Courier Service to this village is not delivered by all the people engaged in this lucrative business.BSNL the Nations pride refuse to give us land line as they have to draw wires engage people to do this job.The public will have to pass through the village Main Road in zig z

ag way as there was no possibility of taking the road straight as it would disturb few homes important to a few than lakhs of road users who had to crawl in the village road to avoid accidents.When my daughter visited us she rang up her friend to tell that she is in this village 6 km from N H 7 and the road is a disaster she replied that she is experienced trekker and would come with her sleeping bag on her bicycle.

With this background I would like to say in India roads must get as much priority as food and power for the people.Govt of Tamil Nadu gives 35 kgs of Rice free for all Ration Card holders of BPL category mostly workers in the unorganized sector.The roads in Tamil Nadu are better than Karnataka the most corrupt state as media reports on account of illegal export of Iron Ore from that State.The Chief Minister had to resign due to the fact that the only effective LOKAYUKTA of India Justice.Santosh Hegde reported on rampant corruption that was going on from RATION CARD to Iron Ore Exports by all those who were Mining in that state and had all politicians in power being kept with their hands well buttered.

Now the Whole of India wants LOKPAL to control Countries Corruption and a social activist with the support of millions of people had come up with a draft of LOKPAL BILL to be effective from 15th August 2011.The wise guys in power have also made a draft LOKPAL BILL but its not accepted by the non political members of the draft preparation committee as its not effective and does not affect the PRIME MINSTER,JUDICIARY,MP's and Top Bureaucrats.Its named as:-

1 - Govt Lokpal Bill. ( it is not what the people wanted.)

2 - Jokepal Bill. ( as it is a JOKE on the people )

3 - DHOKAPAL Bill.( [Dhoka means in Hindi duping] Duping the people )

Anna Hazare who is leading the people all over the world has called for hunger strike from 16th of August 2011 to make the Govt to include various categories of Govt employees,The The Prime MINISTER,Judiciary,MP'S, MLS'S and any one holding public office open to probe in to their income by LOKPAL who will investigate the excess of their earnings over their known sources of income as many such persons are left untouched by any authorities to question their ill gotten wealth which goes on accumulating and the persons getting the money power from political power will keep using his power along with muscle power and send their money to Tax free heavens made by powerful countries.
