7/10 Update on This Hub

I had unpublished this hub, thinking it had run its course. And, of course, HOPING that Mrs. Palin had run HER course.

But no. She is out there tea-partying and lapping up every bit of media glory she can find. Her book has spawned speaking engagements (lucrative ones, at that). She's criss-crossing the country endorsing candidates.

Oh, and did I mention she seems to spend an inordinate amount of time in public dressed (scantily) for the gym? Quite a strategy: focusing attention on her physical attributes does seem to have a mesmerizing effect -- at least on some dumb people.

I do not get it. Sad I am!

P.S. Where the heck is Todd? We haven't heard word one about him in months!

Alaskans cheered you back as gov

But now you're quitting -- where's the love?

I can't believe your strategy

We're sick of you, why can't you see?

You claim that "helping's" your new calling

Dishonesty? That's still appalling

Resigning now will leave you freed

To write your book and feed your greed.

No matter what your motives are

You're nothing but a media whore

You failed to learn your proper place

So disappear now, save your face

Ms. Palin please don't think I'm snide

When I suggest you run ...and hide

Republicans may think you're swell

The rest of us say go to ....

Nice. Dr. Seuss would be proud. If he were a Democrat.

"52 percent cannot be wrong"

That's a stretch. The majority isn't always right.

Depending on the other options at the time I may vote for Palin for President. I wish we had another major party to vote for. Neither of the ones we have now are any good.

Thanks. I know not everyone hates her as much as I do. I really, really cannot stand the sight or the sound of her voice. It is very clear that she is gearing up to run for something else. God help us if she runs for president. The Republicans deserve better!

You're correct -- it really doesn't matter what party she is, she is (there is no other way to say this) stupid. I wouldn't mind if she were president of a social club or a ladies' quilting bee; politicians, however, should not be stupid: we all deserve better.

Great poem (and great sentiment!).

Mighty-Mom,

You may be eating your words.  I give 4 to 1 odds, she getting ready to run for President.   She is taking off a little time, and then going to get involved heavily in the 2010 compaigning in early 2009.   and then be set to make a move to the 2012 election.  The liberal smear campaign is over, and she will be loaded for bear!   Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, and Sarah Palin.  There will be some heavy hitters coming along.  Obama ligitimized Cheney, so Cheney maybe may be in there too.   Conservatives see they screwed up last year by not going with Romney.   With the ecomony still in the dumps, Romney may be in demand.  As well as Sarah will make big statements too. It will be interesting over the next 3 years.

God help us get rid of Obama, Our pocket books cannot afford the change he is doing.

Palin is the best! She is cute and is great at winking! And she already has a great slogan - You betcha!

Maybe she can get Cheney on her ticket. Palin-Cheney would be a killer combo! Looks, brains, and crazy times two. I can't wait. This pair will make the Bush years seem like kids play. YOU BETCHA!

Teresa, Thank you. The lady don't quilt. She shoots moose. She is dead serious and that is what makes her so dangerous. God help us if she does run in 2012. She's still got high approval ratings in her party. I agree she's stupid. But more than that, she's cocky. Not at all becoming.

Eovery, Oh, I agree with you on her plans. No doubt whatsoever. And I know there's still a large faction of really ignorant people out there who think she's the greatest hockey mom ever. I like you and won't engage you in a war of words. Let's keep our eyes open -- it will be interesting.

Not quite sure what you mean by "God help us get rid of Obama. Our pocketbooks cannot afford the change he is doing. Hell. He is carrying the burden of 8 years of out-of-control spending on an unjust war plus a financial system that was allowed to line its own pockets at the expense of everyday citizens. This ain't his mess. He inherited it. He's working as fast as he can.

Shiba -- you make me shudder. Killer combo is right. Can't deny her looks -- she does have those. The brains would obviously be coming from Cheney, as she's a twit. And crazy times two -- you betcha. Not to mention the two of them are the poster children for 2nd Amendment rights:-). Just stay out of range...

Hi Ivorwen -- I agree with Steve also that we really, really need a third party. As for me, I cannot imagine any circumstance under which I would vote for Sarah Palin. Hey Madame X, Yes, I figure you and I are on opposite sides of the spectrum, but that's aok by me. I have already learned from you from your hub about Lefties, Demos and Liberals. My strong feelings are not partisan. I actually liked what Romney had to say and was sad he didn't get the GOP nod. Can't explain why exactly Sarah Palin grates on my nerves.

Hillary's had the wind knocked out of her sails. I personally think she ended up with a great position for her skills. Not sure about being afraid of SP but I will think about that one.

RB -- I am flattered and will go and investigate your poem right now! I am sure I will approve.

pgrundy 7 years ago

Great stuff MM! You had me smiling. But to be honest, I have a bad feeling about this. The recession is deepening and the Obama administration is barely even slapping the financial industry on the wrist. There's no sign of where a recovery will come FROM, and my fear is that by 2012, there might well be lots of Americans who are in the mood for a fascist small minded rightwing bitch who isn't ashamed to validate their ignorance, rage, and hate. She's dreadful. And the fact that she stays in the news is worrisome. Great rhyme though! You should do a book! Get Shadesbreath to illustrate. You guys would make out like bandits on that. :)

MM

And he's trying to fix out of control spending by doing the biggest out of control spending ever. Sorry, this is totally wrong!  In one year, he will out spend almost as much as Bush's last 4 years total.  Who is the out of control spender now!  And you ain't seen nothing yet!  He is just getting started.  So don't blame Obama reckless spending on Bush.  Obama is making the decisions now.  And remember all spending has to be started in the congress, not at the top.  Congress passes all the laws, the President only approves.

And who controlled the congress in the last 4 years, and who was the lame-duck President.

Sorry MM, but I just had to say these things, I think they are all a bunch of crazy looneytones, and we need to vote them all out! There's plenty of blame all around. Just want the Dems to step up and take their share. And stop this crazy spending!!!

Mighty Mom profile image

Mighty Mom 7 years ago from Where Left is Right, CA Author

Pam -- I will talk to Shadesbreath about a possible collaboration. Being that we both live in the illustrious capital of the great state of California, where the governator has declared a state of fiscal emergency -- and he is the REPUBLICAN governor.

LOVED this line: "my fear is that by 2012, there might well be lots of Americans who are in the mood for a fascist small minded rightwing bitch who isn't ashamed to validate their ignorance, rage, and hate. She's dreadful." Why is it that you and I seem to think so exactly alike on so many things (and people). LOL. But I share your fear.

Eovery -- There is no denying our country is in a world of hurt. There seem to be two philosophies on how to get our economy back on track. Either we tell the government, "hands off -- the market will fix itself. Trust business to regulate itself and do the right thing" or "We've let the free market crash and burn long enough and the government has to step in and help or else it will only get worse." I personally am not a fan of government bailouts of private industry. It's supposed to be survival of the fittest -- if you can't hang, then you don't deserve to be in business. The problem is we're talking about industries that not only employ millions of Americans, but whose employees and their families touch millions of other American businesses. In other words, to let them fail is to see a domino effect of failure.

I won't argue with you about who controlled Congress the last four years. That would be the Democrats -- by a very, very small majority. As for Bush being a "lame-duck" president. Hmmm. One could argue that Bush himself was a lame ass duck for all 8 years. It was really Cheney who called the shots. But we won't go there. It doesn't really matter how we got here. The point is we need to get out of it and Pam is right -- the chances of it happening by 2012 are slim.

Steve Rensch profile image

Our system works only when there is a strong opposition party. As long as the Republican Party continues to rest its hopes on the likes of Palin (a man in a woman's body), Cheney (he missed the Third Reich by a mere 50+ years), and McCain (who was once admirable but has become just old), then the sort of responsible and forward-looking debate that needs to happen cannot.

Mighty Mom profile image

Mighty Mom 7 years ago from Where Left is Right, CA Author

Thanks for your comment, Steve. I don't really know what the Republican Party is planning for 2012. If Palin the the best they can do, that is pathetic. As for Cheney -- you're so right (he's so right -- uber right). And McCain really showed a side of himself in the 2008 campaign that was not becoming. I think it's more than age. I lost respect for him.

Here's to forward-looking debate. Hope it happens!

Mighty Mom profile image

Mighty Mom 7 years ago from Where Left is Right, CA Author

I had something of an epiphany today. I think the national attention Mrs. Palin got during the 2008 campaign went to her head. She seems to be of the mindset that any attention is good -- even if it's negative.

Maybe rather than politics, she belongs in Hollywood. She reminds me more of a starlet like Brittney Spears or Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton than a real politician. She seems more concerned about staying constantly in the media spotlight than serving the public.

That little tiff with David Letterman? Insane. Do you know how many insults comedians hurled in the direction of Chelsea Clinton? Did you hear Hillary demanding an apology from the likes of Jay Leno? Hell no. My feeling is this: If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

What I like about Palin is that she is real -- good, bad and ugly, it is all right there. She is not some rags-to-riches story, neither is she a typical politician. Personally, I am really hoping that someone completely different comes on the seen in the next couple of years. There was a couple of candidates I really liked the looks of this last time, but they are still relatively unknown as far as I can tell.

Mighty Mom profile image

Mighty Mom 7 years ago from Where Left is Right, CA Author

I don't agree with you about Palin, but respect your opinion. Don't like the woman's politics AT ALL. But do agree with you that some of the better GOP candidates from 2008 got l left in the dust. I thought McCain was a horrible choice. I liked "The Mormon" -- but gotta love America, that a candidate's religion is still a burning issue. We are so retarded sometimes.

It will be interesting to watch who rises to the top of the heap!

"52 percent can't be wrong"

And yet, I remember Democrats not accepting W's 52 percent over John Kerry. That's funny.

"You'll never be a media star"

Um, 40,000 tweets an hour on Twitter and status as one of the top 20 tweeted items, along with effectively bumping Michael Jackson coverage for a whole day is what I call media stardom, dear.

Mighty Mom profile image

Mighty Mom 7 years ago from Where Left is Right, CA Author

Hello, Brandon, DEAR,

As I recall, the 2004 election was a bit different. Bush had already stolen the election from Al Gore in 2000 and embroiled the US in a war, thus pretty much ensuring his re-election in 2004. Kerry may not have been the strongest candidate the Dems could have put up against Bush. Still, with extremely dirty politics like the Swiftboaters' smear campaign, he got sunk, kerplunk. Fact is, 52% of the US voting population chose Obama over McCain/Palin. Are you saying you don't accept that?

As to the media star line -- I think you're right. See my comment above about the ephiphany I had the other day. That is EXACTLY what she wants to be, a media star. Too bad she doesn't have Michael Jackson's talent or Farrah Fawcett's dignity. Thanks for setting me straight. She's not a media star, she's a media WHORE.

Now, I am going to cut you a some slack for calling me dear because you are a member of Lakewood Church. And believe it or not, I am a huge Joel fan. So there -- common ground. MM

Lgali -- Glad to provide enjoyment for your Tuesday! Hello Maven101- Welcome here. The nice thing about comment threads below a hub is that personal venom is welcomed and encouraged -- if that is the author's wish. I personally encourage pro and con comments. Yours are well taken. No politician is perfect. If we're comparing untelligible comments I think in fairness our Veep deserves some ribbing, much more so than Obama. The thing about Obama (at least from what I know) is, he does not assume he knows everything. He surrounds himself with smart advisers to fill in the gaps in his knowledge. That is the sign of a wise leader. Meetbrandon -- So, first, thanks very, very much for reading and enjoying my hubs. That makes me happy! Second, I would sincerely love to read your take on Mrs. Palin. I imagine you have some very solid arguments as to why she is not what I believe her to be. I honestly am *always* open to updating my opinions based on new information. I think Conan O'Brien said it well last night. He said, "Sarah Palin polled her five children before deciding to resign as governor of Alaska. All five unanimously felt she was in over her head." That's pretty much how I see it -- Wasilla, sure. Alaska -- ok, not too much damage to be done in such a low population state. But the whole country? Including international relations? There is something to be said for knowing your own limitations. P.S. LOVE James Carville:-)! A Texan. Thanks for reading. You must be really happy to have George back in the saddle in your state. I suppose you favor continuing on the same way we were the last 8 years. How much lower into the ground can we run this country?

Dolores Monet profile image

This was very cute, Mighty Mom, almost as cute as Ms Palin herself! Sure, she's gonna run for Prez. That's why she quit being gov. because renigging on an oath is the smart path toward getting elected president. The real sad thing is that 48% voted for her ticket. What the hell is the matter with those people. (no offense)

Mighty Mom profile image

Mighty Mom 7 years ago from Where Left is Right, CA Author

God bless, Dolores. As said above (or somewhere recently). I have always wanted a "cute" president. I think that is the most important quality in any leader of the free world. Bush certainly thought he was cute. Palin does him several better. Not entirely her fault, tho. If the media didn't (over)expose her she would have no choice but to slink away.

Yes, you're so right. Renigging on an oath is the best route to the presidency. Sure, Senators have quit their duties to run. But usually only after several years of service already under their belt. She seems to think running this country would be so easy. That, to my way of thinking, is dangerously naive thinking.

As to what is the matter with those people -- it took a lot of people a lot of years to open their eyes about Bush/Cheney.

You know one guy was so smitten by Sarah Palin that around the election he started telling me he would jump off a roof if Obama won. I always thought he was a nice guy up until that point, but that comment scared me. Then he attacked an elderly woman who said she liked that Obama was elected.

That is just plain scarey to me! I know most people would not react that way, but just reading pgrundy's hub last night I saw some people working themselves into a dither. Someone said her hub said hateful things about conservatives, but I did not see that. The last time I checked we still had to right to express our opinions. I think Obama is doing a good job in a dire situation, and do people really think Palin and McCain would be doing us a service right now? I loved your poem by the way!

Mighty Mom profile image

Mighty Mom 7 years ago from Where Left is Right, CA Author

Hi SP. Totally agree with you. Obama is doing a good job under very tough circumstances. The people who are so rabid about Palin really scare me. It's more like a cult than anything (although some on the "other side" claim Obama has a cult following).

Thanks for visiting and glad you liked my poem. Sorry about the weirdo -- and for the little old lady. That is just WRONG! MM

SweetiePie profile image

SweetiePie 7 years ago from Southern California, USA

My feeling about the cult thing is maybe people who are upset about Obama are just thinking of any way to discredit him. Yes a lot of people probably like him more than others are comfortable with, but when looking at the gallup poll it shows a large cross section of the population supports him, whereas Palin's supporter are usually from a certain demographic. To me that is the difference.

Cool poem... I do like some conservatives like Girly_Girly... but they just can't diffrentiate ignorance (Palin) from insensitive (Obama's remark about special olympics).... Hell would be helluva place... her foreign policy experience... seeing Russia from her window SNL ;)

Mighty Mom profile image

Mighty Mom 7 years ago from Where Left is Right, CA Author

Hi Jon, I like some conservatives, also. I have learned a lot from some very smart ones here on HP. Girly_Girl, Madame X, James A Watkins, I am sure I am forgetting some others who I admire.

On either side of the debate, the important thing is intelligence and being willing to listen and really hear. Ignorance is what this country has become not only famous for, but proud of. It amazes me how many people lap up Palin's hateful rhetoric. She is the consummate beauty pageant contestant. If you ever watch those contests, you know that the "sound bites" the contestants cough up make about as much sense as Palin's speeches. But because they are delivered by a pretty package, people go, 'Oh yay! She managed not to trip too much no her tongue." I thought Katie Couric was pretty easy on Palin myself, yet she was vilified. I thought David Letterman's quip about A-Rod and Palin's daughter was as funny as any other late night talk show host's jokes as the expense of those in the public spotlight. And let's not forget who PUT Palin's daughter in the public spotlight. Yep, that would be old "I'm all for family values except when it comes to my own unwed pregnant teen" Sarah Palin.

Well, Jon. Yout got me started again! Thanks for revving the old engine this morning! MM

Mighty Mom profile image

Mighty Mom 7 years ago from Where Left is Right, CA Author

Jon, I would say your girlfriend is lucky, too! But I agree with you. Intelligence bears its own kind of beauty. I don't believe beauty and brains are mutually exclusive. I believe Sarah Palin has a type of intelligence, but it is not the type of intelligence that this country needs. We saw a similar cockiness in our last president and see what resulted!

I still watch SNL from time to time. I do miss the Palin parody. It actually was way better than watching the real thing. Until the real thing turned up on SNL herself? Did she think that made her cool or more credible? OMG!

Jon. I think you just nailed the problem as well as her appeal. Americans have become so attuned to accepting information via TV and YouTube that they don't question the content. I imagine there may even be people who believe Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are serious (but they are comedians -- just very, very smart ones).

I don't believe the Republicans could have won 2008 no matter who they put up on the ticket. I believe McCain would have done better without Palin, but I know others who believe she raised his numbers. I do feel bad for McCain -- not a graceful way to exit... I even watched him on TV the other night trying to say nice things about Palin. I could see so obviously how he was gritting his teeth! MM

McCain staff is spilling the beans about Palin now... McCain couldn't have won(not with the Bush baggage) but it could have been closer without Palin... every minute with Palin it was joke waiting to happen.. Comedy central is cool... Jon Stewart is incredibly smart....love his show.

I haven't read any of what McCain has said about Palin but know his staff has said bad things. The campaign must have been a nightmare.

Jon Stewart is way cool. I also really enjoy Stephen Colbert. Even though he is ostensibly "right wing" his tongue is firmly in his cheek and he and Jon are buds. Another one I truly admire is Al Franken. I am so glad Al won the senate seat -- finally. He is a smart, smart man.

I do not like this post, dear host.

I do not like this post the most!

I do not think your comments fair,

I think your nose is in the air.

I think you hate Alaska's Gov,

I thought you Dems spoke peace and love.

I think I'll read some other stuff,

I think I'll leave here in a huff.

I do not like this post, dear host.

Well done, Puppascott! I like your retort very much! One minor correction: I hate Alaska's "EX- Gov" as she is now a has-been governor. But yeah, I don't have a hell of a lot of respect for her.

I'm glad you liked it, but I just knew you were going to catch the "Ex" thing. I just couldn't get it in there.

Well, of course you couldn't compromise the integrity of the meter:-). I'd say you made the right choice!

Still, your rhyme is divine. I'd be a scared to challenge you to a rap off, Puppascott! You hail from the land of Eminem, after all...

If you're talking chocolate, then yes, you should be scared. As for words, I get lucky once in awhile.

Eminem? Please. The only M&M's I acknowledge won't melt in my hand. Sorry, no offense intended.

Mighty Mom profile image

Mighty Mom 7 years ago from Where Left is Right, CA Author

LOL! I can just picture us, standing back to back, counting our paces, turning, then... unwrapping our chocolates! Wouldn't that be a fun duel? I sure think so.

Not an Eminem fan, eh? My son was into him awhile back so I sort of had to listen to him alot. Sonny's into way harder rap now -- not my cup of tea, frankly. I imagine parents of my (our) generation said the same things about our outrageous rock music!

God Bless America if they ever get this airline stewardess run the country. She is a walkin' four eyed freak show, shake that ass pretty mama cuz that's all you got, what, oh my really? Jesus too? Repeat that script of GWB. I think we still have it on file. Watch out America, she will take Jesus's name and say God Bless the USA, the dumb sheep will get all excited as she claims she know the true America, oh my, what America am I living in? Apparently one that knows just because I can see Russia on my google map, it doesn't make me an international expert. No my dangerous liasons with women make me that. My taste in beer also qualifies me in diplomatic relations. I too have a library card, does that give me a legitimate chance at the presidency? Okay, how about VP then...just consider it.

LOL Real Slim Shady! I can see you are a kindred spirit. Love some of your phrases "walkin' four eyed freak show" "I too have a library card, does that give me a legitimate chance at the presidency?"

Just by this one comment I would vote for you over Mrs. Palin in a heartbeat to be a heartbeat away from the red button that blows us all up!

Thanks for visting. Would love to read moreo of your stuff!

Real Slim Shady 7 years ago

Yes, this four eyed freak show landed on my television screen yesterday and a sickening epiphany hit me like some bad weed. A reality show in the making...I can see it now... as Todd struggles valiently with his little wolf puppies trekking across the frozen tundra shooting penguins for survival...Baby Dirt or whatever the hell they call him will get caught feedin off his sister, oh I thought that was mama's chi chi, these things happen when everyone sleeps in the same bed...Ol Levi will come back to the family wanting to marry his ex-ho, figuring he's gotta make a loot in all this too, gambling can get expensive, episode 6 will reveal he has another love child in the making with Miley Cyrus...And Sarah will hook up with Flavor Flav and have a threesome with Brett Michaels before Flavor Flav is converted and becomes a Born Again Christian, giving up Crack for the 11th time...all this will show on Sunday Nights on VH1. Stay tuned or just be like me, throw the TV out for the garbage man and let him bring that drama to some illegal residents house to persuade them that the American future ain't so bright with the Palin's around. Yes, it is better to jump back across the border and risk swine flu then deal with Palin's America.

Soon MM the gate will be opened, where you will be part of another dimension of sight and sound, where creativity is desired to blossom, where thoughts aren't associated with cheap numbers out to belittle and tag you a loser or a even a winner for that matter because we all ready know that you are beyond their worth. Expression is the name of the game and sometimes it needs a place to land, somewhere more intimate where you can imagine a friend in the living room with you, having a fruitful discussion on life rather than dealing with any myopic nitwits trying to assert their perspective on you and the world. I can't wait till you are at a place where a community is trying to build its foundation rather than watching it slip away, substituting artificial limbs as a replacement for human touch. This place is no longer a juicy grape fresh on the tongue, no its a shriveled raisin, that is caught in the cracks of the backseat where the summertime gnats will attempt to make a feast of it. Someday, people with realize what's screwing up their digestive track is not those chili cheese fries they had for lunch, but the emptiness of the soul as it keeps eating at the cafeteria where everything is filler without substance.

Kindred spirits we are and that's how we will stay connected. Everything is under construction, where the dead weeds will be cleared for a beautiful new landscape with magnolias and daffodils. Stay tuned, limited engagement only, but I am certain your name is on the list somwhere at the top.

RSS, You said it! "Emptiness of the soul as it keeps eating at the cafeteria where everything is filler without substance." Amen. You captured our national malaise perfectly. I would add we suffer from emptiness of the brain as it shrivels from a steady diet of Coors Light, Fox News and televangelists who spout intolerance.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the reality show idea. Hell, if they can give a contract to Octomom the Palins are a (snow)shoe in!

I would urge you to seriously, seriously expand your idea into a hub or hub series. Much as I am delighted and flattered for the comments here on mine, your talent demands its own spotlight!

It amazes me when I read intelligent, articulate woman using the word 'whore' to describe another women, especially when it was a woman who gave you the right to vote. I appreciate a good article or debate, pro or con, if it has substance.

Mighty Mom profile image

Mighty Mom 7 years ago from Where Left is Right, CA Author

Hi Jiberish, I'm not quite sure I follow your comment. It appears you take offense at my use of the word "whore" in regards to Sarah Palin. I do describe her as a 'media whore' which (as I intended it to mean) means she will do anything to garner media attention. She has had a taste of the media spotlight and, pardon me for saying so, wants more, more more.

I am very, very aware of how women attained the right to vote. And appreciate their sacrifices. Just as I appreciate the trailblazing of the so-called "bra burners" who got us the ERA and advances in women's business opportunities and pay.

In the end, tho, this is just a fun poem.

Glad you stopped by and took time to comment. Cheers. MM

Hello MM, you nailed this meatball right on the head... cloudy with a chance of meatballs is the forecast for awhile, but if we are lucky the skies will clear and the sun will come out tomorrow.

Stop by and say hi sometime, you may find we have some Palinisms to trade...

Mighty Mom profile image

Mighty Mom 6 years ago from Where Left is Right, CA Author

Hello KKalmes. Anyone with Palinisms to trade is an ally for sure. Sometimes I suspect even the hard core righties here on the forums only defend her to get my goat. No one with half a brain could possibly, possibly take her seriously. But then, there are waayyy too many Americans (alas) whose lack of education has left them deficient in cranium development.

Anyway, it's always good to find kindred spirits here on HP. MM

Kindred spirits soon to meet! It freaks me out to no end that she's a still considered a viable contender for the Presidency. Blech.

Thanks for the update, and see you soon!

PS: Are you wearing your cape to the Serrano?

Mighty Mom profile image

Mighty Mom 6 years ago from Where Left is Right, CA Author

WHO considers her a viable contender for the presidency? Good lord. She couldn't even get through an interview with Katie Couric. She is downright dangerous and disgusting. I am not a hateful person, but I hate her because she is a scammer and people (some) are just too dumb and awestruck to recognize the lies that pour out of her mouth. She is EVIL.

As for our impending meeting, sure would be cool if Kimberly could make it too, the Recovery 3!

I guess I will have to wear my cape! Otherwise, how will anyone know who I am??? They might mistake me for any old ordinary mom instead of MIGHTY Mom:-). Tee hee

lorlie6 profile image

Viable to Rush, perhaps. Oh, and don't forget O'Reilly and Beck...And a lot of folks who live 'round these parts. It's scary and really appalling, MM. Did you ever see the interview she did before the election where there was a turkey being rendered right behind her? She was clueless, her press peeps were clueless.

Since you're an 'ordinary' mom, I'll spot you right off, cape or no!

Mighty Mom profile image

Mighty Mom 6 years ago from Where Left is Right, CA Author

Well I'll certainly know you! So cape or no cape, we can pow wow together.

Oh -- and rage on Sarah P and Meg W (hate her too) and Carly F (hate her even more than Meg W).

I'd really like to be pro-women in politics, but these "ladies" make it sooooo hard. Not to mention Sharon Engle and Michelle Bachman..... they give women a frigginn bad name!

lorlie6 profile image

lorlie6 6 years ago from Bishop, Ca

I KNOW! Before we 'got to know' sweet Sarah, I was so proud that McCain actually chose a woman as a running mate...but then I found out what a dimwit she was. Blech. I do NOT want her representing me at all! She doesn't, and that's that. I just can't believe women-men tend to be stupid-fall for her crap.

Meg Whitman? Arggghhhh!

Won't we have a ball in SF? I guess we ought to listen to the Hub seminar, too, you think? :)

Amazing! I had the same exact thought as I saw the photo again. In fact, been thinking that same thing about SP's One Nation tour. Where's Trig (I hope I have the right name). He does seem to have outlived his usefulness. Wonder who's caring for him. Obviously not Sarah. Maybe he's in Arizona with Bristol and her bastard son...
