My Gratitude To Some Good Cops

A recent hub I published:

Controlled Rage

described how I was unhappy with the Dallas County, Missouri sheriff's department.

Well, I must totally eat my words this morning.

Yes, my friends and family------------

My 3 year old Grandson is back home where we know he is safe and sound. All Praises to Jesus Christ and Our Father God. Thank you for all of your prayers! God heard them all and He took complete control.

We had quite an ordeal, and I dare not go into all the particulars until all legal matters are handled.

My daughter, Amy gained custody papers and we made the long drive to Buffalo, Missouri again. We went straight to the sheriff's department and was greeted by a very professional man. His name was Rick Sharp and I commend him on his treatment of us and his quick and courteous service to us.

Not long after we arrived a deputy pulled up and asked us how he could help us. We showed him the papers and he said to my daughter, "Let's go get your son".

I again must reiterate that I cannot go deep into what happened for legal reasons, but I will tell you I videotaped the whole thing and as soon as my daughter awakens, she will have to be taken to the hospital. Her ankle is the size of a small watermelon.

I owe that deputy that escorted us out there my deepest gratitude. There was a lot of drama and he was on top of every bit of it. He carried my daughter after the leg injury and he made sure that Elijah, Amy and I were away and safe.

I thank you kind sir.

That TOP COP's picture is below and below that is the links to Dallas County Sheriff Dept. They deserve some big thanks for what they did--If you have a bit of time-will you give these good folks who serve and protect some of  your love?

Hello Amy and Grampa, It is not very often that we get praised for doing our job.

I was totally surprised to see this in my Sheriff's email.

I hope Amy is doing better with her ankle. I must admit, it was hard on an old man carrying her to your truck lol.

Anyway, thanks for the comments, but I was only doing my job and was glad to be able to reunite a mother and son.

Take care God Bless.... Deputy Zeolia, if I can be of service in the future don't hesitate to contact me via email or in person, Larry

Yes sir, she is doing better. I again thank you, I don't think this old man could have carried her.

In my opinion, you went above and beyond and I am proud to have had the opportunity to meet you.

Thanks again!
