My Most Comments: Who Would Have Figured
All This in Under 24 Hours
I have to give up on thinking I have seen or heard it all. I just wrote a Hub less than 24 hours ago, stating just when I thought I had heard it all....
I guess it just goes to show, some people must have some really pathetic lives. The Hub I wrote less than 24 hours ago, Dancing with the Stars: Tea Party Conspiracy, has generated more comments than any other Hub I have written. That Hub was written to show the absurdity of the left's outrage at some ridiculous subjects...Lo and behold, they come out kicking and screaming. I have moderated the hub and allowed all points off view, but I draw the line at foaming at the mouth and inappropriate bashing. If you are one of those, don't bother posting a comment; it won't be allowed. Even with the deletions of comments, I still have more comments on that ridiculous hub than any of my other hubs.
I may never understand. It was such an unbelievably absurd topic that I wrote the hub about, it was a commentary on the ridiculousness of the lefts rants, yet still, comments tried to lend credibility to the story. I guess some Hubs are testimony to the absurdity of mankind. It is a sad state of affairs. I have written about some important and controversial subjects, but nothing had generated the traffic that this one did. As a person who despises drama, I thought long and hard about publishing the hub, but I must confess to some morbid fascination at some absurdities. Does that make me just as absurd? Hmmm....
I did enjoy many of the comments I received, even from the liberals that commented. I enjoy the give and take that goes on, but I detest the ranting and raving. Some rant and rave to the point that spelling, capitalization, punctuation and grammar are out the window, much less etiquette. Word to the wise, I refuse to do battle of wits with an unarmed person, so if you want to spout some liberal crap, be prepared to back it up, or just don't bother. I'm just saying...
