No Friend in Obama

Tevya is at the Table

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, March 30, 2015. Our dear friend, Wasp Tevya, is at the breakfast table. In a totally reprehensible and sudden move, President Obama has declassified details of Israel's nuclear program. Tevya has asked for the pleasure of your company at breakfast. He will be bringing in bagels and lox. He is way too distressed to cook anything. We look forward to your arrival.

Frayed Relations

President Obama has never been able to contain or successfully hide his hatred for Prime Minister Netanyahu. Now he is going for broke and revealing quite boldly that he has the same contempt for the nation of Israel and its people. The White House has declassified a Department of Defense top-secret document that details all of Israel's nuclear assets. Every president before Obama has maintained the secrecy of this information. Up until now, Israel has been our close friend and ally in the Middle East. President Obama is showing that he prefers to sidle up to Iran and make nice. I believe, and I am not alone in my belief, that President Obama is an anti-Semite. He did a very poor job of hiding his hatred for Netanyahu, but now with no election to steal he is showing his true colors. President Obama declassified sections on Israel's nuclear program, but chose not to do the same for Italy, France, West Germany and other NATO nations. His mentors, who despised America, must be so pleased that their prodigal son is fulfilling their dreams.

Source

Choosing Sides and Telling Lies

It appears that President Obama is prepared to abandon Israel. His insistence that Israel make peace with Muslims that want nothing more than to see Israel and its people wiped off the face of the earth is incredible. No other leader I can think of has been treated so badly. His open arms policy towards the terrorist nation of Iran is frightening. The United States now wants Iran and Hezbollah removed from the terror list. If this is a dream, it is one hell of a bad one. While the United States negotiates with Iran, shouts of "Death to America and Israel" can be heard in the streets. Apparently, this administration isn't troubled by these chants. All civilized human beings should be troubled by an administration that is taking us on a road never travelled before. President Obama has chosen a side to champion and it isn't America or Israel. His actions speak louder than his words and his words aren't comforting at all. When he speaks, he probably keeps his fingers crossed behind his back, making it easier for him to lie to us and the world.

Golfing Through A Crisis

The Middle East is falling apart. President Obama's failed policies in the region are indefensible. James Jeffrey, who was Obama's ambassador to Iraq and a top national security aide in the George W. Bush administration said, "We're in a goddamn free fall here." Someone should knock on the door to the Oval Office and inform the occupant of the reality of a Middle East that is imploding. Of course, the Oval Office may be empty, so try a golf course somewhere in America. Better yet, knock on Valerie Jarrett's door. She's running the show anyway, so it is best to go straight to the top.

Source

If Only.....

In a perfect world, President Obama would still be a community organizer on the streets of Chicago. Instead, an ignorant electorate placed him in the White House two times. They knew he sat in a so-called church for twenty years listening to the ravings and rantings of a Reverend who hated America. That fact alone should have disqualified him in the minds of any sane person. Instead, voters gave him the keys to the kingdom and now the kingdom is falling apart. In his six years in office he has managed to destroy everything he touches. That was and is his intent. Once he was elected, he should have been impeached. Instead, he has successfully damaged our nation, our institutions, our standing in the world and our values. If only he had been impeached......

It's not a crime to be gullible

But it's no great honor either!

When an incompetent who wants to ruin the country is in charge, this is what you get. The majority of American voters are stupid and uninformed. Unfortunately , we got what we deserved.

Pop, I admire your courage to call a Muslim, a Muslim, when you see one. You know something that frightens me as much or more is that

I have not seen a person strong enough that can step up in 2016 and

have the guts to make changes to get rid of some of barrack's snake oil.

If we do not find that someone, we can kiss our freedom goodbye.

And, like you mentioned, why had this spineless slug not been impeached?

Thanks for your words of wisdom, Pop.

See you at the Inn,

DJ.

Pop and Tevya,

I hope the "Progressives" who kiss Obama's footprints are happy with his "fundamental transformation". All of our former allies have been thrown under the bus, former adversaries are butt kissed in front of the world and the emperor plays golf. FORE!

Good morning taxlarry,

Perhaps, but there are so many people who didn't sign on for this disaster. See you at the Inn. Let's talk about "the old days."

Good Morning DJ,

I am hoping that someone with courage and integrity will emerge from this sea of candidates. Sadly, there are far too many voters who don't give a damn about integrity. The mainstream media certainly doesn't and thus far I can't find a Democrat who does. The Republicans aren't that much better, I'm afraid. See you at the inn.

Good Morning Tom,

We would have been better off if Obama stayed on the golf course, or on the road, or on vacation keeping his mouth shut at all times. See you at the Inn.

I agree DJ! He should have been impeached right about when he first got into the 2nd term or more directly when he passed that Health Insurance and Affordable Care Act! What a shamble. Those who come to the IS looking for FREEDOM from tiranny, need to get their head examined first. We are losing ALL of our freedoms here with this idiot called the prez.

If he were doing this with the best interests of the USA in mind he would be doing what we hired him to do. But in truth he is doing this because he is a school yard bully who is doing this for purely personal reasons, and because he can.

I'm not sure the USA can survive the remaining time this thug has remaining in his second term as President. Yet I know that nobody will do anything about it or they would sacrifice their own political careers. I seriously doubt we will ever fully recover from the damage this one individual has caused our once great nation.

Good Morning Lady Guinevere,

The sad part is that most Americans are not even aware of the freedoms they have lost. Obama has ruled through executive fiat and cut all democratic systems out of the mix. Eventually, his dangerous work will settle in and America the Beautiful will forever be a thing of the past. See you at the Inn. I may order a peach martini in honor of the impeachment that should have taken place and didn't.

We need that "someone" NOW. On my knees, I'm begging. Get behind the wheel of an enormous bulldozer and DEMOLISH everything BHO touched....get rid of the poison he has spread. I'm writing an apology to Netanyahu. I do not want him to believe we're ALL crazy....or against Israel...and mostly I want him to understand that we share a common enemy!!

I am literally sick to my stomach. Maybe as taxiary says "we got what we deserved"......I can't argue. But please let's get ourselves OUT of this FIASCO!!

Dear fp,

We are going to need a remarkable president and a Congress that has integrity, common sense, loyalty to their constituents, love of the Constitution and love for America. That is a huge task. I want to keep hope alive, I really do. See you at the Inn. I'll save you a seat.

Pino Krisio 20 months ago

POP: An Iranian "journalist" just left the nuclear talks in Switzerland and defected to that country. Why? because he can only write what he is told. On Saturday, he wrote a piece stating that the US is at these talks to promote Iran; not to promote what France, Germany, Great Britain, etc. wants. The USA's sole role in this is to be on the side of Iran. Now Obama wants to have the UN to force Israel to split into two states. Two points here: The UN is probably the most anti-semite organization, and thank goodness the UN cannot enforce anything! Obama wants Iran to be the strongest country in that region, and he is hell bent to do it.

All while everyone just sits and watches....... I am off to the Inn. I need a huge stiff drink!

breakfastpop profile image

Dear Pino,

The defector had it right. It is completely obvious that Obama's loyalties lie with countries, typically opposed to America and its allies. His pal and instructor Valerie Jarrett must be guiding him on this particular issue. The fact that there are still people alive who believe in him despite all the evidence to the contrary is shattering. See you at the Inn.

It didn't bother you when Netanyahu discredited, disgraced America in Congress. It didn't bother that a handful of Republican traitors wrote a letter to Iran sabotaging the current deal between the US and Iran. Because it is an Israhelli interest that the US bomb Iran therefore we have to do so. But what Israhell didn't understand is that our elite is aiming at its interest. Not yours, not ours, not Israellis'.

Words fail me. He gets bolder and more reckless....and he is the president of the United States of America, which he has divided---utterly and completely. And to "diss" (to say the very least) Netanyahu, is really beyond disgusting. It is downright evil. Meanwhile, Iran's leaders are smiling like Cheshire cats. They never expected things to be so easy...and they're rubbing their hands in anticipation..... before going in for the kill---which as it turns out, is a piece of cake under this so called Commander-in-Chief. Please. I think I'm going to be sick. I'll have some 7-Up with my bagel, if you don't mind bartender. See you at the end my dear Tevya. You can perch on my glass. I welcome your company.

Obummer reveals more of his evil nature daily. Fortunately, Israel can defend itself....it doesn't need the US. Iran will discover this.

My compliments, Breakfastpop. This is an interesting but highly misleading hub. I have no problem with your negative opinions about the President, however, I must point out a few factual distortions.

The first false statement I encountered was this:

“The White House has declassified a Department of Defense top-secret document that details all of Israel's nuclear assets.”

“All of Israel’s nuclear assets?” Really?

If I were to write an honest and balanced analysis of the President’s actions, I would certainly mention that the declassified Department of Defense top-secret document was written 28 years ago and it no longer contains any pertinent details about Israel’s current nuclear arsenal. Israel’s status as a nuclear power in 1987 is no longer valuable information to anyone but academics. {1} Perhaps you did not intend to write an honest and balanced analysis.

Then I came across this: “When [President Obama] speaks, he probably keeps his fingers crossed behind his back, making it easier for him to lie to us and the world.” Were your fingers crossed when you wrote “all of Israel's nuclear assets?”

I guess you and I have different values. Facts are always more meaningful than opinions because after facts are verified, they have to be believed until proven to be false. Opinions, on the other hand, do not have to be valid or true because they are, after all, just opinions.

I certainly would not call anyone a liar without including specific details about the lies nor would I fail to produce supporting evidence to back up my claim. Obviously, vague accusations are always easier to print than they are to justify.

Thanks for the hub, Pop, and thanks for sharing.

Good Morning max,

Prime Minister Netanyahu did not discredit or disgrace America. He was invited to speak and he received a stunning welcome that made me and many others feel proud of Congress for the first time in a long time. I applaud the Republicans for writing the letter. They represent the voters and the voters deserve a voice. The Democrats who refused to attend the speech behaved like spoiled ignorant brats. They let down the very people who placed them in office. Netanyahu told the truth. The Obama administration has lied to the American people consistently. This pending deal with Iran is a travesty. It will spark a nuclear arms race in the Middle East. No good can come of it. We shouldn't be negotiating with terrorists, but Obama doesn't seem to mind. Shame on him. So, I repeat, I applaud Netanyahu's speech and I am glad he made it.

Good Morning Q,

If the report was so dated and benign, why did Obama withhold similar information about France , Italy or West Germany, etc? He has a visceral dislike for Netanyahu and Israel. This information was never discussed before and for good reason. It is a highly covert topic. Israel has never formally announced anything about their assets in order to avoid a regional nuclear arms race. Until now, the U.S. has always respected the effort to remain silent. The report that was released actually details Israel's nuclear program in great depth. The Israeli National News reported that the timing of the revelation was highly suspect given the tensions that exist between Netanyahu and Obama. The report should never have been released and our allies know it. You are certainly entitled to your opinion and your lack of support for Israel, but I can't say I respect your position.

The far left has been reduced to a non-stop defense of Barack Hussein Obama, the man who bragged that he was going to 'heal the planet' and bring America together.

Those of us who did not swoon in his presence, were baffled by the worshiping, because not only did we realize that he had zero experience as an executive, but he also had many dubious relationships with far left radicals, and a long time 'minister' who was openly an anti-white racist, an anti-Semitic, and an anti-American.

We tried to warn them, but enough besotted Americans voted for him anyway, and now we see the Middle East on fire, 'full time jobs' of 29 hours, a median annual income loss of several thousand dollars, soaring medical insurance premiums deductibles, and co-pays, and a dangerous world that no longer trusts or fears America.

Let the fools defend their false god. The rest of us know better.

How strange to see you assume I do not support Israel because I uncovered factual errors in your hub. Accurate political observations require honest and balanced analysis. That is why I don’t understand the statement, “IF the report was so dated and benign....” If you read it, you will learn it IS dated and benign.

I am not being disrespectful to your opinions or attitudes, Pop. I am merely pointing to factual errors. There are false statements in this hub that attack your own credibility. One of them claims the document “details all of Israel's nuclear assets” which is untrue. The truth is...

The document, compiled more than 28 years ago, reveals a now obsolete assessment of Israel’s nuclear capabilities in the 1980s.

President Obama did NOT declassify this report in retaliation for PM Netanyahu’s interference in American politics. The Defense Department, after waging a legal battle in Federal court trying to prevent the release of this UNCLASSIFIED document, was ultimately forced to respond to a FOIA request and lawsuit filed last year by Grant Smith, an investigative reporter and author, who heads the Institute for Research: Middle Eastern Policy. {1}

3. Israel could have prevented the document’s release but it did nothing. On March 28, 2015, The Jerusalem Post stated the document had been “declassified” when first submitted. The article suggests that the US government may have thought its contents would not have an impact if made public. The Jerusalem Post wrote, “That, too, must have been the assessment of the Israeli government in 2014, as it had the opportunity to keep the document secret but declined.” {2}

Personally, I do not care about your personal opinions regarding the President nor anyone else for that matter. There is always room on the planet for other opinions. I do care about the truth, however, and I care about correcting blatantly false and misleading statements like this: “This information was never discussed before and for good reason. It is a highly covert topic. Israel has never formally announced anything about their assets in order to avoid a regional nuclear arms race. Until now, the U.S. has always respected the effort to remain silent.”

I think I understand what you are saying. You did not know of Israel’s nuclear capability because Israel never talks about its nuclear arsenal. Meanwhile, the rest of the world knows Israel is a nuclear power who has refused to join the 190 states that have already signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

In addition, in 2006, the Bush Administration published 30 declassified U.S. government documents that "disclosed the existence of a highly secret policy debate... over the Israeli nuclear weapons program." The contents of these documents became part of a widely discussed article which concluded, "Israel already had a nuclear device by 1967." {3}

In January 2008, the Bush Administration declassified a 1974 "top-secret" report, "Prospects for Further Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons," that noted Israel "has produced nuclear weapons." The report was declassified in response to a FOIA request. {4}

As for your comment, “why did Obama withhold similar information about France , Italy or West Germany, etc?” my reply is simply this. If you believe you know the answer to that question then state it along with your supporting evidence. However, the question appears to be implying you have facts that are both important and relevant but I actually suspect that you have no facts at all. Unanswered questions are NOT valid logical arguments. Rather, they are an admission that you don’t know something but you would like to appear as though you do.

All of the passionate rhetoric in the hub is absolutely fine with me. Go for it. But, if you disregard verifiable facts then you risk leading your readers to invalid conclusions and you place your own credibility at risk.

Thanks again for the interesting hub.

When they can't dispute the main thrust of your article, they divert, deflect, and deny by nitpicking 'factual errors'.

breakfastpop profile image

breakfastpop 20 months ago Author

Good Morning Q,

I suggest you concern yourself with your own errors. Releasing this report was a show of disrespect to an ally that deserves our protection. Obama's treatment of Netanyahu has always been despicable. Telling Putin's emissary to assure Putin that he would have more flexibility once he won-re-election was treasonous in my view. If the Israeli government was disturbed by the release of this information, that is enough for me. This is only one piece of the ugly puzzle that paints a picture of Obama's disrespectful treatment of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Obama takes every opportunity to tell Israel and the world that the U.S. is changing its attitude to our long time ally. This is despicable and unacceptable. By the way, I find your tone and intent very disrespectful, as well.

breakfastpop profile image

A common thread that runs through our liberal friends here is their penchant for simply deleting any and all comments that prove them wrong. For instance, as a Second Amendment defender, I have studied American gun violence for years, so I know who is doing it and why, but that ruins their anti-gun argument, so they simply delete my comments, claiming that they are 'not on topic'.

And with that, I'll stop hijacking your Hub!

I think you made many valid points in this hub. Obama is making some huge mistakes with Iran, as they are building a large Navy, and they ave positioned themselves to call the shots it seems. As for Israel, they have been one of our strongest allies for decades until now. Obama has done everything he can to destroy that relationship. Iran has not minced words and they are out to destroy them, and all Christians as well.

If a Republican should win the next presidential election he will not be able to undo the damage Obama has done in one term. Obama has been a disaster and his lack of experience in world affairs certainly shows. I would delete Quillgraphe's comments that e spent so much time on.
