Spider Harlotte is at the Table

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Our creative friend, Spider Harlotte, is here with me at the breakfast table. Harlotte is weaving a complicated and disturbing story into her web. Despite all the bad news Americans have learned about Hillary Clinton, her team has rented office space in Brooklyn as a first step in launching her campaign. When will we ever learn? Harlotte has asked for the pleasure of your company this morning. She will be preparing stacks of strawberry pancakes topped with whipped cream. I will be brewing up Irish coffees to add to the meal's enjoyment. Harlotte and I hope to see you soon.

Source

A Head Scratcher

Thank you all for coming this morning. I am deeply disturbed by the reception Hillary Clinton is receiving when she roams around making speeches and avoiding answering some very important questions about her interactions and actions. There is plenty of information out there that make it very clear that Hillary Clinton isn't fit to lead this nation. The mainstream media is doing their level best to hide this information but, nevertheless, it is available. If all goes according to plan, Clinton will have plenty of testifying to do in between stumping for the presidency. That is, if all goes as it should in a nation where there are consequences for bad behavior. I am no longer sure that we are living in this kind of country. In the meantime, Clinton is probably buying furniture for her campaign headquarters.

Source

Money, Money, and More Money

Let's take a page from this unfolding story by looking at the Clinton Foundation's dirty donors. Foreign governments with awful records on human rights have generously given the Clintons piles of money. If I may be so bold, I suggest that Americans should be very concerned about these donations. Money has poured into the foundation's coffers from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Algeria and the U.A.E. The money flowed in during the time that Clinton was serving as Secretary of State. Common sense and decency say that this situation is deeply disturbing and completely unethical. Since the foundation was created in 2001, it has raised an unbelievable $1.6 billion. American voters should be very concerned about these unhealthy alliances. In the meantime, Hillary must be buying computers for her campaign headquarters.

Source

Breaking the Law

The Federal Records Act requires the preservation of any official records. "Official records" refers to any records relating to the performance of a federal officer's duties. America now knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that Clinton conducted official business with a private e-mail account. That alone is a hideous lapse of protocol that put the safety of this nation in danger. It is ridiculous to accept Cllnton's lame explanation that she just thought it would be easier to use one account. Her statement is even more ludicrous, because we now know that she used more than one account. The bottom line is that the State Department's manual states quite clearly that all e-mail records must be preserved under the Federal Records Act. Hillary Clinton refused to use an official account and instead re-wrote the rules to suit her needs. During her entire time as Secretary of State, Clinton made sure her e-mails were never subjected to the Federal Records Act. Do you really want a person like this sitting in the Oval Office making life and death decisions for your nation? The answer should be a resounding NO, but in the meantime Hillary Clinton is ordering pens and pencils for her campaign office.

Source

Connecting the Dots

If this nation is to prosper, grow and re-invent itself after the Obama years, it is going to need a strong leader with integrity, talent and love of country. Clearly, Hillary Clinton has a very easy time of playing it fast and loose with the truth. We still have many unanswered questions about Benghazi. Surely, this investigation must move forward so that American voters can see who they would be placing in charge of their country. Clinton has a great deal of explaining to do. Her connections to the Muslim Brotherhood are another troubling area of concern that must be investigated. Despite all the unanswered questions and controversy, Hillary must be ordering drapes for her campaign headquarters.

Source

Get it Right Next Time

The next presidential election will decide whether America stops declining and starts to resemble its former self. It is not going to be easy considering the damage that President Obama has inflicted on this nation. Voters have to realize that America's future rests in their hands. This nation will, hopefully, survive the Obama years, but if Hillary Clinton becomes the next occupant of the Oval Office, it is the voters who will have doomed America. Don't let Hillary move out of her campaign headquarters into Washington. Please get it right this time.

Chelsea Clinton called the Secret Service “pigs.”

Former White House florist Ron Payne told the author that he overheard an exchange between Chelsea and a Secret Service agent. Chelsea was on the phone with friends from Sidwell Friends school when she said, “Oh I’ve got to go. The pigs are here.” When the agent retorted that his job was “to stand between you, your family, and a bullet,” Chelsea reportedly replied, “Well that’s what my mother and father call you.”

Oh Yeah! Hiliary for president! If anyone has proven she can negotiate with untrustworthy, cheating, scoundrel leaders of a country she has. Lookout Mullahs of Iran, she's got your number!

Good Morning tsadjatko,

Hillary has a long tired history of deception and lying. I don't need to know another thing to say she should never be president. See you at the Inn. While we are at the Inn, Hillary will probably ordering swatches for 2016 when she redecorates the Oval Office.

Problem is many of today's voters are too young to remember the Clinton family scandals of the '90's even tough we have a whole new list for the 21st century.

Dear tsadjatko,

Today's youth are incredibly ignorant. College students are completely clueless about the Holocaust, D-Da, FDR and more. We don't stand a chance going forward.

After seeing how Americans voted in 2008 & 2012, who can have any faith in the American voter now? They continue to send the lowest of low lives back to congress. And many people love the Clintons. Why? Stupidity. So, don't be shocked if she gets elected, even with her connection to the muslim brotherhood. Our country is doomed.

Good Morning taxlarry,

This isn't the America I grew up in. I feel like I moved to a foreign country where democracy is a joke, liars and cheats are revered and knowledge is overrated. See you at the Inn. I'll save you a seat and we'll talk about the old days.

Other than being a skilled liar, Hillary is as unqualified to run this country as our current President.

I read where in a recent poll 65% of women voters responded they would probably vote for Hillary just because she is a female. If this poll is correct I think we are in deep trouble. It would seem the intentional dumbing-down of America has been quite successful.

If Hillary is successful in following Obama into the White House, we can kiss this country goodby.

I don't trust these polls, the media wants to plug Hiliary, but if true what does that tell you about the mindset of the majority of today's women. "just because she is a female", The terrorists should run a woman for president here!

Good Morning, Mike,

I have personally met so many women who just love Hillary. When I point out all the miserable things she has done in her life, they just look at me blankly. Now that's scary! Hillary is deceptive, untrustworthy, sneaky and just plain power hungry awful. If she wins, that's it for us. I don't believe there will be a way back from the great abyss that is Obama and Hillary. See you at the Inn.

WillStarr profile image

The current political wisdom says that we should vote for Hillary because she:

1) is a woman

2) deserves it as an abused wife

3) is a Clinton

The first two reasons are appallingly stupid, and the third is just plain wrong because, unlike the Bush's and the Kennedy's, Hillary is not part of a family dynasty and does not share the same genes. She's a Rodham, not a Clinton, and she has never achieved anything of importance other than riding her husband's coattails.

Bur we elected Obama...twice, so I guess there are enough silly people out there who will vote for her for silly reasons.

breakfastpop profile image

Dear tsadjatko,

I don't trust the polls either, but I do believe (and I am sad to say) that many women would just love to see a woman in the WH regardless of ability.

Good Morning Will,

I thought we were supposed to vote for the best person. Hmm.. being an abused wife doesn't make her best. She should have left him. Being a woman, doesn't mean a thing unless she is an amazingly talented person. Not so in her case. Being a Clinton tells me that there is no way she should move into the WH. The bottom line is no one deserves to be president unless they are supremely qualified for the job. Clearly, that is not the case here. See you at the Inn.

Great article, Pop.

You said it best, above in your comment: "No one deserves to be president unless they are supremely qualified for the job." I am sorry to say that ship sailed 7 years ago and again, 3 years ago. Sadly, there are far more people looking for freebies than there are those who are looking for a strong president. At this time, we are working on our third generation of people living off government assistance. And, yes, they vote. In fact, some vote 3 or 4 times as some precincts.

Pop, I appreciate you words of wisdom and this article that makes more sense than most news papers. However, I am somewhat pessimistic as

there are large numbers standing with their hands out looking for

their next freebee, and they don't care which despicable politician

gives it to them.

Great work here. Thanks, Pop!

DJ.

I agree with Bill. I'm an independent thinker, and I want to vote for the person best suited to run our country. Unfortunately, such a person likely wouldn't run for public office. And they would never get elected by special interests. We need someone who wants to make America great again.

Thanks for writing, Pop!

pop.....I needn't repeat my severe disdain for Hil the Pill.....it only grows daily. I'm afraid it's been a very long time since I have seen anyone (in any sort of position) be HELD ACCOUNTABLE. Apparently and quite sadly, this is no longer important. It's certainly not related to "The American Way" any longer. We are becoming famous for sins & criminal activity which any GOOD, strong Nation should be utterly ASHAMED of.

The "CONSCIENCE" of the American Politician has completely disappeared.

As for those who would do ANYTHING to see a woman in the White House.......WTH?? Well, OK ladies.....but can we maybe choose a woman of substance...or would this be too much to expect??!

I shouldn't come to the Inn today.....Talking about this BIMBO gives me a really "unfriendly attitude!!" Peace, pop....

You know Old Poolman, Mike, maybe you have a point

'Perhaps the terrorists are running a woman for President? Just saying......"

After all she tried to protect the terrorists in Benghazi by blaming that on a video. (yeah, no one has looked at that angle)

Let's just take a look at her emails to see if she corresponded with them....whoops, that's out.

How about the Hiliary donation scandal? Who really donated what and when and why? hmmmm, think we'll ever know what is going on there?

If the terrorists are backing her all I have to say is LOOKOUT vast right wing conspiracy!

The article is interesting, but the comments are even more interesting.

I always thought when I was a child that the phrase ‘pigs’ had its origins as an expression of contempt for police officers who ate too many donuts. As I got older, I was taught a deeper meaning, that ‘pigs’ was something of a cultural curse-word used by certain Middle Easterners to declare the target of the phrase religiously unclean.

In this world of intrigue, could it be that the first meaning was advertised and encourage openly while its true meaning when used by ‘those in the know’ was meant to denote their membership in a less than honorable group? (Perhaps much in the same way that drugs have streetnames that are recognized only by those indoctrinated to the terms.)

Just speculating …

tsadjatko profile image

tsadjatko 20 months ago from maybe (the guy or girl) next door

Whatever you speculate Jim you can rest assured, if the Clintons, in front of their own child, were using PIGS to label those assigned to protect them with their very lives then they have no respect whatsoever for "We The People", their constituents at that time, or more appropriately in their minds, their subjects.

When it comes to Bill and Hillary, anything is possible. By all accounts they are paranoid and secretive, so without really digging we can only speculate about what they are really up to.

Hxprof 20 months ago from Clearwater, Florida

Pop, I admit that I don't worry about the possibility that Hillary will ascend to the throne. She's got too much baggage, though in typical Clinton style she seems to believe it won't stick.....she's in for a surprise.

Ah, but we've got some really good people who are or may be running for GOP nomination. Let's see, there's Jeb, Marco Turncoat Rubio, Romney, Paul and Ted Cruz. The two most worth a look seem to be Cruz and Paul. However, do we know for certain that they'll do what they say they believe? I say no. Even if they have the intention of doing what they say they believe, they'll have to be bought by someone in order to reach the presidentcy, and that someone (or group of someones) will control what they do. The days of an independent president are over. We've been bought and sold.

Dear bp - It is more than scary when I realize how Hillary seems to have pulled the wool over many voters' eyes. You nailed it when you wrote that we may no longer be living in the kind of country where there are consequences for bad behavior. She seems to be rewarded for hers.

POP: Most liberals dismiss all that you stated above. Why? I'll never know. Her blatant lies cannot be ignored. However, they are every day by her adoring followers. But now there is trouble in paradise with her. Iowa polls show that she is in third place. This is not good for her.

You would think that after wiping her server clean everyone would wake up. What I would like to know, is why they are not going after the people who she emailed. She can wipe her server, but cannot wipe the servers of the recipients of her emails. Has no one thought of that???

I have a logical mind and live in an illogical world. Off to the bar for some peace........

Good Morning Pino,

Great hub. As the Washington Post said regarding the millions of dollars that Hilary has received from nations with horrific records of abuse toward women and children:..."a foreign government should never have any claim on the loyalty of a U.S. president, which is why foreign donations directly to a campaign are illegal. We cannot give her a pass simply because her entity is a “foundation,” not a PAC or campaign entity."

Pop, I wish more people understood that. And it isn't just young people who believe in her. I've met 45 to 80 year olds who think Hilary is great, but they have never, ever looked into her public record. This makes me feel sad and discouraged. Nevertheless, Clinton can lose, but to whom?? Elizabeth Warren would be equally bad, although in a different way. My prayer is that we find a candidate who actually loves America, and who is not just interested in personal power as Hilary is.
