O-Bitch-you airies for Dumbya, Palin, Cheney and McCain.

O-bitch-uaries for Dubya,  Palin, Cheney And  McCain.

There was a grave
opening yesterday,
a burial of sorts,
a ground breaking event
that was undertaken due to
the stench of eight years.
They buried George W.'s legacy,
in thousands of steel election boxes,
under the ghost of chads past,
many attended in record numbers
but few mourned his passing.
They buried Dick Cheney too,
a man who mimed Lon Cheney
with his stirring of fictitious fears
in the hearts of all

who observed his acts.

Sarah Palin was also put to rest,
eliminating any possibilities
to add to the many vices
of the current corrupt presidency.
She was lowered without much fanfare,
dressed in funerary finery,

clad in $150,000 dollars worth

of designer clothes.
She was dressed and given

closure with far more care

then any moose she'd ever shot,
butchered and devoured.

It's carcass left to rot

in the Alaskan wilderness.

And McCain was shot down

for the last time,
draped in a flag but

given a twenty-one gun salute,
times millions pounded out

in lead across ballots,
and electronically targeted

by his own nation.
friendly fire of sorts,

or perhaps a friendly firing.
He was a maverick who

crashed several planes in the Navy,
One plane he was piloting

that had yet to takeoff,
was dealt a disastrous blow

when a Zuni rocket
accidentally was fired

into his fuel tanks.
He promptly leaped

from the cockpit,
as bombs beneath his jets wings
heated to ungodly infernos
and then he slipped away

to the officers ready room,
to sip coffee and watch it

all on a closed-circuit T.V.
as the U.SS. Forrestal's crew,

battled bravely and at great cost

to save their ship and it's  men.

The next day while they mourned
a hundred and thirty-four men dead,
and 161 additional men injured
he left the ship on what he called
welcomed R.+R. to Saigon while his
brothers-in-arms dealt with a
crippled ship and heartbreaking grief.

All of the above have

fallen to a purging
of a government of greed and fear.
There was a grave opening yesterday,
A grave opening to a new era.
Let us hold a wake,

and celebrate the passing.

We don't have to worry much about any of those characters any more. I liked the poem and the pictures, especially the last one.

Bravo! Very poetically correct.
