Obama Goes On "Stupid Is As Stupid Does" Tour
I always wake up with the hope that President Obama will change his course, see that his programs are not only failures – completely – with regard to the economy, but also unpopular by a vast majority. Each morning I read either he is vacationing again, or he’s back on the campaign trail pushing his own failed agenda. Now we know because the information verifies what we have long suspected of the man, Mr. Obama is “losing” it. Not that this article can be verified – but because it confirms what so many of us already know, it rings very true.
The latest frustrating news is Mr. Obama will go back in the saddle again, campaigning for his latest stimulus. Let’s take a trip down memory lane and see how well the other four (or was it five? Six??) similar packages helped our economy.
Well – we all know the Stimulus For Clunkers for example was a resounding success.
Huh? It wasn’t? But this administration keeps telling me that if they didn’t implement this genius program car sales would have been much worse.
Forgive me. It has been a number of years since I attended college and had to take that business course I really hated—but isn’t it completely impossible by any measure to actually determine such claims? Where in any academic papers or other such writings does such an economic measurement exist? Oh, it doesn’t? This is something conjured up uniquely by this admistration?
Or could it be the Obama team is so full of super smarty pants that they can come up with their own invented economic indicators and measurements. “______ [pick a number any number because it’s all fiction not factual] jobs would have been lost if we didn’t do all the things we--[this brilliant Obama administration] did.”
How does one measure this ridiculous claim? How can the main lame media allow this administration to utter such nonsensical blather without an attack? Imagine the Bush administration making such claims!
The answer: One cannot measure it. This is double speak for, “It was an utter failure. Cash for clunkers actually took away sales from future sales.” And the economic proof of that is while there was a spike during the cash for clunkers, there was a dramatic drop off of sales practically the moment it ended.
Now Mr. Obama is going to use our precious tax dollars to tour the country to convince us this same method needs to be used again to stimulate our economy. He’ll speak to faithful people in small venues. His staff can’t fill places he goes to any more. Yet he’s still going to campaign. He hates being the President; it’s annoying to him. He loves the crowds of lemmings and he loves to go on the campaign trail. He doesn’t care one lick that he’s wasting untold tax dollars on this folly. He doesn't like the hard work it takes to be President.
Gee, ya think? How about the fact he has played more golf in one year than George Bush played his entire eight years as President?
He's not happy being President and facing the duties he's supposed to be doing? He's "losing it?" Who knew?
Just how stupid does this administration think we are? How stupid is it to implement an economic policy that has not only failed once but over and over again?
Stupid is as Stupid does!
Remember to vote in November. Remember to research and pay close attention to the candidates leading up to 2012 and be an INFORMED voter by replacing this man who is in way, way over his head.
