Obamacare: The Tea Party's Cyanide Pill
The Death Nil of Tea Party Conservatives
For the Tea Party Conservatives out there, their most vocal yet erroneous talking point is the Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare. They'll go to their graves trying to repeal it, de-fund it, or just get rid of it without any thoughts of what to replace it with. Yet the most strident opponents of the Affordable Care Act, although most are elected government officials whose family members enjoys some of the benefits of the Act. To say that the individual(s) in question is or are undulating, pompous and undeniable blow-hard hypocrite(s), would be a gross under statement.
While the health care reform was long overdue and they (Tea Party/Republicans) knew it, but chose not to address the issue while kicking the metaphorical can down the road. The lengths of their hypocrisy knows no bounds because the basis of the whole Affordable Care Act is modeled after the Republican concept presently at work and has been working without issue for a number of years in Massachusetts.
I may not agree with every liberal or democratic idea, yet I will honestly do my due diligence / research to see if what is being said or printed in the media is worth the time it takes to listen to it or the paper its' printed on before making the best informed decision I can. But it seems to me that the entire Republican / Tea Party have been and are continuing to behave like spoiled children that didn't get their way or what they wanted. Here's the irony of that kind of behavior, back in the day when I was a youngster, kids would get spanked or disciplined in some fashion for that kind of behavior. Yet as proof of the recent midterm elections we as a country, failed to chastise the Republican / Tea Party for their childish antics.
What's potentially troubling to me is that the US Supreme Court is going to hear arguments for second guessing their previous ruling on the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act. This impending action is all at the hand of the spiteful and lying Republican / Tea Party insistence. They're trying to split hairs with this law to try and disgrace or embarrass the Obama Administration or President Obama directly.
