Obamacare and the Children
Good morning Breakfastpoppers. Today is Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Our dear friend Manny, the Praying Mantis, is here with me at the breakfast table. He has prepared a delicious batch of blueberry pancakes for all of us. Please join us for breakfast and a chat. Manny wants to talk about yet another ugly result of the implementation of the Unaffordable Care Act.
Just last week, about 1,800 New Jersey children lost their health insurance because of Obamacare. Apparently, the government's mandated requirements rendered these policies unacceptable. The cancelled policies were a product of a low-cost children's healthcare initiative called, FamilyCare Advantage. It was offered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. It took care of the health needs of children whose parents make too much money to qualify for Medicaid. For a reasonable and affordable $144 a month, children were receiving medical, dental and vision coverage. Now thanks to the short-sightedness of Obamacare these children have lost their coverage and their parent have lost their minds. These are real people with real needs. They aren't liars, as Harry Reid , would describe them. They are parents who now have to fear for their children's well-being.
It Wasn't Broken!
The Obama Administration took a well-functioning health plan in New Jersey and decided it was the healthcare equivalent of a broken down old wagon. In reality, there was nothing wrong with this plan that was implemented six years ago. It ran so well that it was thought of as a perfect model for other states looking for cost-effective ways to offer good coverage for children.
Obamacare looked at the plan and trashed it because it did not offer mental health care. They shut down the program and effectively shut out New Jersey's children from receiving quality healthcare that was affordable for their parents. Doctor's visits only cost $5 and there was a $1 charge at pharmacies. The plan did not have deductibles.
A Letter in the Mail...
Parents in New Jersey who had their children covered under the FamilyCare Advantage plan received notification of the cancellation of their child's insurance in the mail. The Obama Administration left them out in the cold. Insurance offered under Obamacare by the exact same provider has a $1,500 minimum deductible. Adding insult to injury, these families will not be eligible for taxpayer funded subsidies because they earn too much money. These families will now be forced to take their sick children to the ER for health care.
This hideous turn of events is not happening in a vacuum. New Jersey now joins at least five million other people who had the plans they could afford and liked cancelled by Obamacare. A new study conducted by the RAND Corporation has reported that one million people whose plans were cancelled because of Obamacare still remain uninsured.
Going, Going, Gone!
President Obama's signature healthcare initiative has effectively destroyed a system that worked. President Obama's legislation has destroyed healthcare for 85 percent of the population who liked the coverage they had. President Obama's plan has created more uninsured people than ever before. More "change" is about to happen as larger companies find that insuring their employees is completely unaffordable. This President, his administration and members of Congress who applauded his efforts are solely responsible for bringing all this misery to our nation. The fact that they are standing behind this mess is proof, at least to this bug, that your health was never the issue. These people are invested in this disaster for the power. They rightly knew that if they could take over your healthcare, they could control you from cradle to grave. I will pray for you....Manny

Before I brush my wings
I say a little prayer

For years, reference has been made to a group people behind the scenes who are changing America and the rest of the world. These "people" have a name. They are members of the Shadow Party.
Hillary Clinton has a terrible memory and the FBI believed her every time she couldn't recall something. The Clinton e-mail scandal grows worse every single day. How much more deception can we endure?
This weekend was a nightmare in our country. We had to endure acts of terror in New York, New Jersey and Minnesota. Our so-called leaders were afraid to call a spade a spade.
