Our Comrade in Arms

Good morning Breakfastpoppers. Today is Thursday, April, 3, 2014. Our wise friend, Tevya, is here with me this morning. He is deeply disturbed and perplexed by news that the Obama administration is giving Russia military equipment. Please join us for breakfast this morning. We are serving bagels, lox and cream cheese. There will plenty of Bloody Marys to go around. You'll need them, because we have a serious issue to discuss.

It's a Deal..

Hello, my human family. Is it my imagination or did your president announce sanctions against Russia when it annexed Crimea? Admittedly, the sanctions were pathetic and only served to embolden Putin but, nevertheless, they were sanctions. It appears that the National Nuclear Security Administration is providing Russia with high-tech hardware known as the Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System. Exactly when did your president become Putin's comrade in arms? Is your nation taking over Crimea, too? I have to say, your President Obama has "chutzpah" and that's putting it mildly. First he whispers sweet nothings meant for Putin's ears and then he points fingers and tells Putin to behave. Whose side is he on, anyway?

A Gift for You, Comrade

Source

It's Your Money

It is completely insane to allow this taxpayer gift to go unchallenged. The NNSA has done this sort of thing before and it appears that they are determined to continue the practice. Someone must step forward and remind President Obama that his pal Putin is no friend of the United States. In my humble opinion, if Putin could, he would march right into Brighten Beach, Brooklyn and annex it! Clearly, your President Obama thinks he can sit down over a bowl of borscht and "schmooze" Vladimir Putin. Trust me, when I say, this can only bring "tsuris" upon you. Russia's incursion into Ukraine is certainly just the beginning of an ugly attempt to put the Soviet Union back together again, just like Humpty Dumpty. Your President Obama has exhibited great "caution" is his reactions to Putin's boldness. His cautious style is rightly perceived as weakness, so Putin has a green light as far as your nation is concerned. It would not only appear that he has nothing to fear from your President Obama, but it would also appear that he has a friend in the White House.

Sleeping With the Enemy

Should the United States be supplying military equipment to Russia?

Mother Russia

Get Real!

Russia is an enemy of the United States. There are no "ifs "ands" or "buts" about it. The road ahead is going to be long and dangerous. Fear is mounting in Europe. Poland is reportedly calling up their reservists. Crimea is only the beginning. At the very least, the Obama administration should stop supplying Russia with military weapons. President Obama should be concerned about supplying our soldiers stationed on bases in the United States with weapons. If this common sense measure were taken, perhaps the hideous tragedies at Fort Hood could have been avoided or stopped in its tracks. Putin must go to sleep laughing every night, secure in the knowledge that he has nothing to fear from his "friend", President Obama.

But it's no great honor either!

Tevya. add this to your dictionary - Obumma is a "shmeckl." You figure it out. Obumma is certainly living up to his campaign promise to Putin. He said that after the election he will have more flexibility. Putin is probably laughing his cajones off!

There's not much more that can be said about Obama. He's dangerously incompetant, incredibly arrogant, full of self importance and disrespectful of American citizens. He's a man with agendas - reducing the stature of the US on the world stage, making Americans reliant upon the governmen and stripping Americans of their rights to free speech, right to bear arms, freedom of religion and so forth. This latest decision is just another in a series of really ugly decisions made by Obama. Tevya, we can't say it any other way....Obama is an monstrosity.

Good morning taxlarry,

I am enjoying your blending of languages. Yes, Putin is happier than a pig in s--t! See you at the Inn.

Good morning Hyxprof,

Yes, Obama is definitely a monstrosity to many and a hero to some. That's the part that scares me. It also scares me to realize that it would appear we are powerless, thanks to an incompetent Congress, to stop him. See you at the Inn.

Tevya - If you recall, Obama's father was a hard core communist. Have you ever considered that Obama and Putin may be better friends than we will ever know?

I throw this out just to give you something to think about. Future actions on the part of this administration may make this relationship more obvious.

Pop and Tevya,

I really pains me to have to doubt whose side the President is on.

I used to be a Democrat. I used to be a Liberal. Now I prefer to just be an American. I wonder how many will follow me and stop this insane name-calling that only divides our nation?

Russia needs to be corralled soon.

Obama seems to be under the impression that he can flim-flam anyone, including Putin, just by employing his personal charm. He expects everyone to 'behave' because he thinks the days of wars, invasions, and aggressions were so last century.

A president who fails to respond is far more dangerous than a president too quick to respond, because aggressors worry about the latter, but not the former.

Dear Mike,

I have considered this and, frankly, it makes perfect sense to me. I think Obama would love to know that Putin "likes" him. It would make Obama's father and mentors feel proud. See you at the Inn. I'm buying...

Good Morning Tom,

I understand, but his actions speak louder than his words and his words sometimes scream out the exact wrong message. See you at the Inn. I'm buying....

Dear billy,

I used to be a Democrat. I was never a Republican. I have been and still am an Independent. No one party speaks to me. See you at the Inn where sanity still reigns supreme.

Good Morning Will,

My gut tells me that Obama could care less about Putin's actions. He has to pretend to care, but his true feelings explain his tepid response to Russia's aggression. See you at the Inn.

Whose side is he on? Watch his actions and don't listen to his words. It sure isn't the side of the citizens of this nation.

Dear Frog Prince,

I agree, but his defection goes even further. He is a Communist's dream come true. See you at the Inn.

Ditto what WillStarr said..."he thinks the days of wars, invasions, and aggressions were so last century". Absolutely. He reminds me of a libertarian friend of mine (bless his heart) who honestly believes that if the US simply pulled back its military, stayed out of the business of others and stopped trying to play policeman of the world, that suddendly MOST imperialistic wars would be over. While I agree with him that we get involved militarily in far too many places where we have no business, he's naive to believe that other imperialistic nations wouldn't step in where we move out. Historically, the decline of one empire makes room for the rise of another. It's likely that Obama holds a view similar to this, not recognizing that flaws in human nature aren't limited to Americans, but transend national boundaries.

Dear Hxprof,

It is easy to view Obama as naive, but I think more than that is going on. He is totally clueless when it comes to the real world, but his end game is as ugly as Putin's. See you at the Inn and we'll kick this around for a while over drinks and dinner.

POP: Putin is running circles around us. US as a super power? I think not. I never thought that day would come. We are at the mercy of Putin and the Russians, and we are supplying the arms. Crazy!

I'm off to the bar. Save me a seat....

Good Morning Pino,

Perhaps it's best if we remain at the bar. Our nation is upside down and I am dizzy!

Even the demolition of a building is done by a step-by-step plan. The early steps of the plan don't seem to cause much damage to the structure, but eventually the entire building will fall as the plan nears completion.

I wonder where we are now on the plan to destroy this country?

breakfastpop profile image

Good Morning Mike,

I think we are more than half-way there. See you later at the Inn.

Hxprof 2 years ago from Clearwater, Florida

Mike is onto it...only thing is that the destruction of our country was already well underway before the election of Obama. How so? Look at all the sheeple that put Obama in office. People with the mentality that somebody owes them, that the wealthy are evil simply because they're wealthy and that morality is relative develop over a period of time, say over the course of a generation. That being the case, America has been headed towards destruction for quite some time; we're just now seeing this manifest.

breakfastpop profile image

breakfastpop 2 years ago Author

Dear Hxprof,

I agree with you completely. The people behind Obama rightly sensed that our nation was sufficiently dumbed down enough to come in and sweep all we stand for away. Even those who appear to be educated and hard working aren't really paying close enough attention. We are lied to on a constant basis because Obama and his pals don't suffer the consequences of lying, See you at the Inn.

How many games of slosh ball do you think he plays a week?

Good Morning tirelesstraveler,

In between golf, I would say he plays it constantly. Every time he opens his mouth, it's a form of slosh ball to me. See you at the Inn. Maybe we'll get in a game or two.
