All races, all nationalities, all creeds: ONE PEOPLE, ONE WORLD by spikeblacklab

Each of us has a part to play in making the world a better place. We can decide what to do and how to help. If we keep it simple we will be motivated to participate. If we care about the world and what is happening around us we can take baby steps to help. Here are some seeds to sow that shows that we care.

Love

Love- Let’s show love for one another as human beings. We can show love with a smile, an embrace, and a touch of the hand. It’s so simple really. Love is powerful and healing no matter the situation. Show some love by smiling at or with the next person that you meet. Say good morning randomly to others.

Kindness

Kindness- Where there is conflict sow kindness.  Say something nice. Perform a random act of kindness or start a chain of kindness. How? Let the person behind you in line go ahead of you. Hold the door for someone.

Sharing

Sharing- In a world that’s caught up in the “me” syndrome, sharing brings us back to what’s really important. As children when we played with others, we learned to share what he had. As we got older we moved away from this practice.

We can bring balance to ourselves and the world by sharing what we have.  Share your time or share what you have with others.  Don’t make it complicated.

Compassion

Compassion- When we can imagine or “put ourselves in someone else’s shoes”, it allows us to “feel their pain”.  It gives us a better understanding of what the person is experiencing.  It draws us closer to the situation and the person involved and gives us an opportunity to help in some way.

Peace

Peace- Strive to be at peace. It can seem elusive. When a choice or a decision has been made to be peaceful, the Universe seems to throw us something, as if to test our intention to keep our word. If we get past the difficulty we can begin to seek peace. Give yourself that extra five minutes in the morning instead of rushing. Let the next car in, instead of giving him the finger or blowing the horn or cussing. Relax, be at peace.

There you have it. No emptying our pocket or going overboard unless we want to and can afford to. Try these simple ideas. I’m sure you’ve heard of all of them before and have probably used them. When you look at it everything here all comes back to LOVE.
