Shootings at the Pentagon

Updated on March 18, 2010

Shooting at Pentagon

Seems to me like it hasn't been that long ago when there was a similar shooting at the Pentagon. Now a man by the name of John Patrick Bedell 36 of of Hollister, California is in the center of this most horrific act that injured two Pentagon Policeman. What was the motive of this man? No one really knows for sure. I read that he had some issue with the way the 911 attacks were handled and that it may be a motive for the shootings but who knows.

Seems like everything was well and good in the Defense Department headquarters, when all of a sudden this guy started shooting at the officers at point blank range and they had no idea that he was going to do it. They said he walked up to them very cool with no emotion on his face.

The police officers returned fire with semiauthomatic weapons and basically brought down this guy because he was pronounced dead at about midnight. They identified him and found that so far there has been no connection to any terrorism or terrorist attacks, but they had not ruled that out yet because he seems to have a small connection to the 911 attacks, and to me this is when the whole thing gets weird.

Apparently this Bedell guy was going to see that justice would be served for a Marine Col. named James Sabow, who was found dead in the back yard of his home back in 1991. Aparently the case has been ruled a suicide but there have been rumors that there was a cover-up somehow. That this Sabow guy was going to come out with some information about 911 before it even happened and he was found dead. So maybe then it was too much for Bedell to deal with and that is why he killed the policman to try to somehow make a point. I don't know but it has only been 4 months since the killings here in Texas happened, not too far where I live, where I have friends and family living as well and it just gets scarier and scarier that this is happening more and more.

It seems like people are loosing their minds lately about something or other and it really makes one wonder what is behind all this hatred. Okay, so some people do not like Barrack Obama but come on now the man cannot be blamed for everything. I have seen a couple of forums in the last few hours where people say, well maybe they are just giving the president a warning. A warning, for what? I don't understand it and maybe someone wiser than I can shed some light on it but for me it seems like I am losing faith in humanity with every day that ends. I don't know what brings a person to want to kill innocent people. Maybe they do have reason or an agenda but certainly there are better ways to be heard than with gunfire. There is no excuse to kill or maim innocent people no matter what the issue is. Enough is Enough already.
