So Who Is Mia Love?

Truer Words Have Never Been Spoken

How Absurd To Label Such A Person...

Look! I don't expect Team Obama to be civil to people since they are, were and always will be intent upon smearing anyone who makes sense and opposes "The One." But during the Republican National Convention they stooped to new lows in race relations, or lack thereof. They are more intent on now waging their "War On Women" as their convention approaches but their treatment of a good, decent woman should be noted by women across this nation. Mia Love just also happens to be black but that is of no consequence to this writer.

Many people may have missed the segment when Mia was called upon to address the Republican National Convention and many may have also missed how disrespected she was afterward by idiot left-wing talking heads. I don't use the term "idiot" often in print to describe despicable morons but I will use it here. Watch this short video about the woman, her life and aspirations and then we'll take a look at what was said about a very positive woman.

A Remarkable Person Indeed...

After addressing the crowd about her view of America and what she has seen so far during her life the sicko's of the sickeningly far left labeled this fine woman as a "token" and an "Aunt Tom." Is that what this nation's race relations have been reduced to by the progressive, far left? Is this the sort of conduct the present "post racial" President thinks is palatable?

Seems that while all that labeling was occurring over in one place over on Wikipedia things were getting even more out hand. For those who like to quote Wikipedia as an authoritative source - pay attention. You see Wiki is wide open and her entry was being edited/vandalized using remarks such as the "House Ni**er" or try on "dirty, worthless whore" on for size. Want to read more sickness. The page went on to describe this female patriot as a “total sell-out to the Right Wing hate machine and the greedy bigots who control the GOP.”

As an American is that acceptable to you? And even more so, as a woman regardless of what your political affiliation is, does any of that sit well in your craw? Has Obama uttered any disdain for this lack of civility? Of course he hasn't. He condones this sort of conduct by his silence.

The Work Of Big Shots Or Worthless Sh*ts

I'm just going to climb out there on a limb and say this to all my fellow Americans. I am sick and tired of the race card being played because anyone disagrees with Obama. It has nothing to do with race and everything to do with his failed socialistic policies. The Democratic Party wants to keep the black citizens of this country on their plantation. That would apply doubly to a black woman no doubt. The only time they seem to be useful to the party they choose to support is when they need their vote.

Ladies, don't incense the far left by finding your own individuality and success. One thing should be certain to you - Barack Hussein Obama isn't going to build that for you, you have to do it yourself by displayinjg the qualities that Mia Love shows the world. Try using individual responsibility, self determination and the ability to think for yourself rather than have a pack of jabbering talking heads called Democrats do that for you. This defiling of a woman, and a black woman at that, who has succeeded should be a signal to all woman, of any color, that the Democrats want to keep them on the Democratic plantation. Why do you think that anytime anyone disagrees with Obama that the race card is quickly pulled out of the deck and hits the table with a thundering roar?

What amazes me is that the card is usually being played, on Obama's behalf, by none other than those blacks who think the Democratic Party has their best interests at heart and is their best bud. The fact is that the system the Democratic Party has created and perpetuated has made, and continues to make, many of them the wards of the state that they have become. The Great Society has been a failure. Poverty has increased, not decreased. When you take away people's incentive to work and better themselves you have not served them well, you have put your boot heel on their throats.

So lets bring Sandra Fluke onto the stage for the Democratic convention in an effort to continue to wage a War on Women. Who serves as a better role model for the women of this nation - Mia Love or Sandra Fluke? I can only hope that the women of this nation don't have as much tunnel vision as the Democratic Party attributes to them. One easily sees how the far left, of which Obama is the leader, treats women after the Mia Love incident. They have nothing to run on but divisiveness. Divisiveness isn't going to correct the problems that Obama has exacerbated. He failed.

As Clint Eastwood said, "You, we own this country. Politicians are our employees." He had that spot on. Then he went on further to say that "if they can't do the job. We gotta let them go." Truer words have never been spoken. Obama needs to be the first to go as we continue the progress we began in 2010. Time to kick these career, professional pick pockets we call politicians out of office and into the unemployment line.

I encourage my women readers to make pertinent comments about this incident. Thanks.

Quote For The Day: "Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen."

Now add this, "Many of those who refuse, or are unable, to prove they are citizens will receive free insurance paid for by those who are forced to buy insurance because they are citizens."

Was watching ''The Queen'' last night. The Duke of Edinburgh was right when he said that "people have to come to their senses in time, there is no other choice" when he was talking about the grief over Diana's passing. The hysteria that passes for politics will soon pass in this election cycle.Don't worry about the far left or the far right.

Frog Prince, I saw this inspirational woman. Mia Love's character is sterling. Although I am a liberal, I am of the school that hard(smart)work , education, and smart planning = achievement. I am not the whiny liberal who refuses to accept responsibility for and make inane and useless excuses in her life . I do not believe in being rescued by others, I pull myself by my own bootstraps so to speak if need be. I believe in taking the ultimate responsibility for one's life, good and bad. America needs more self-motivated people like Ms. Love who can accomplish anything despite their beginning and less people who make excuses when things do not go "their" way. Awesome hub, made me cry with pride, voted up!

People like Mia Love, Allen West, Tim Scott, etc. are one of Obama's greatest nightmares. That's why they are so maligned by the left. When progressives see more and more women and minorities join the freedom movement, it becomes harder and harder to just call them "tokens" and get people to believe it. So they ramp up the vitriol in desparation. But in the long run, it simply won't work. The more diverse the TPM becomes, the more credible it becomes. It's a threat not only to Democrats, but establishment GOP's too who are totally unwilling reduce spending and regulation, and get out of our lives. At root, the TPM is about getting back to our Constitutional roots. A government based strictly on enumerated powers would leave Congress with no influence to peddle for cash and votes, and an Administration that would have virtually no fiat regulatory power (a giant ego collapse that is long overdue). My greatest fear right now is that the recent GOP rules changes that allow the RNC to hand pick national delegates in Presidential nomination contests will leave TPM candidates disenfranchised. Sadly, the TPM may have no choice but to form its own party, rather than continue its strategy to reform the GOP. The obvious problem is that this splits the center-right portion of the voting base, and may result in handing wins to Democrats on a silver platter. But unless these new rules are rescinded, or if they are expanded to Congressional nominations, the TPM may have no choice. The RNC Rules Committee and Boehner ought to be hung by their balls; they have begun a process whereby the only people who are seriously willing to get our fiscal house in order and reverse the blight of progressivism in our laws are being kicked to the curb. "Grand Old Party" my derriere.

Stu - Be patient. As you know hopefully the turn around in politics that is needed will take at least a few election cycles to achieve by people who actually care about this nation and not just how much free stuff they can line their nests with. The Old Guard in the GOP will be dealt with as time progresses. The TPM, as proven again during this primary cycle, is effective in achieving the grass roots support needed to make some needed changes in faces.

We began in 2010 and need to contiunue the work that was started. These self-serving career pick pockets need to be shown the door. That applies to both parties equally. I'm an equal opportunity firer.

FP - you make a great point. It takes awhile to turn a freight train around, but it starts with the engine. Once the engine is headed the right direction, the freight cars will line up properly behind it. We will of course find that some of these freight cars are either broken or worn out beyond repair and need to left behind.

This is great, thank you for sharing. Eastwood was great wasn't he? It is unbelievable how Obama lovers are acting and especially here. You all know I voted for him and was immediately sorry, well I have eyes, and a brain; these people want to act like I am lying and am racist, so I guess that is the only game they know.

Did you hear about Iowa's airport greeting sign? Bet that threw Obama for a loop. ha There are other words he should be made to eat too, like all his lies and false promises. Who honestly believe he will do a thing besides take us under?

FP. Positive UP vote for this one. We are all aware that there is corruption on both sides. They both want the power of the control of the purse strings. It's just that I see the Dems spending more and more without even TRYING to hide it any longer. At least the GOP is talking about cutting way back. Like you said, it may take a few cycles. We can all see how desperate the Liberals are when they drag up an old photo of Ryan's black, cheerleader, girlfriend from college expecting it to change things.

Hey Frog - you are right on the money with this one. Mia Love is an inspirational young woman with much to be proud of. The Obama crowd cannot help his agenda by touting his successes so they mst try to alter the thinking of liberal leaning voters as to what is right and what is wrong. I am so ready to be done with this President and his cronies.

John - How can you report on things you don't watch? It's like Obama saying that the Rpublicans offered nothing new in those three days while at the same time his press secretary was saying he was watching sports and not the convention. I heard plenty myself. Friggin bunch of hypocrites. Arthur David also spoke. The list can go on.

The Democrat National Convention.........or so they say.

If you have no stomach for "scorched earth rhetoric", I suggest that you set your DVR and try not to sit through the pain of it all from the gate. Wait about an hour into it (watch a "Murder She Wrote" or something equally more intelligent than the convention) start it and keep your finger on the pause button. This way YOU will be in "control" over even THEM, plus you can speed thru the comercials and mindless chatter you know will bore you to tears!

Just a suggestion.

I must admit embarrassment over this being my first exposure to Mia. I'm really liking this woman. She is an inspiration, if true to her words. That's not meant to be insulting to her in any way, I just no longer trust any of them on either side. I feel this defense mechanism is now essential for survival in the current political environment.

I'm not surprised at all that she was attacked on the same racial grounds others are lauded and protected under. That is the beauty of the politically correct ideology weapon. It is applied to everyone not based on what is moral or right. No. It just hides behind a mask of that. It is applied to first distract and pit against each other as many of the masses as possible and then as a single shot weapon, so to speak, that can be easily targeted at any individual that becomes annoying for those firing, i.e. the left dominated media at the moment. We all know who owns them.

Sir Frog, I commend you yet again. You're just getting better and better with every pen stroke.

I have been spreading the idea that everyone must understand: Those who the Dems keep on the dole for their voting base are kept UNFIT TO GOVERN THEMSELVES. Ditto for the open borders letting in the poor of our southern neighbors. In order for our Constitutional Republic to work, the citizens must understand Liberty, the Constitution, and How To Govern Themselves. When immigration is controlled, small numbers of immigrants are let in to become a part of America and our Culture of Christian VALUES, and our ABILITY TO GOVERN OURSELVES. Our system is overloaded with immigrants and our own poor-by-design to make our Culture disappear in a relatively short number of years. How are we going to educate these thousands of adults who do not understand the American Culture which makes the jobs possible, which makes their quality of life possible to be better than it is?

Stu 4 years ago

Hi Frog,

Thanks for the morale boost. But I am really worried about the dictatorial direction the RNC is going in. Ron Paul is now considering running as an independent, because even if he gets a brokered convention on the grounds of primary vote rigging and delegate intimidation his support groups allege in a lawsuit, the new rules will let the RNC "rebind" the convention by replacing all Paul supporters with Romney delegates.

I never wanted this, because it would split the right wing vote, but unless these new RNC rules are rescinded, I think the TPM will have to form a third party. Otherwise, it could get to the point where all TPM candidates will have to run on requests for write-in votes, which are rarely successful.

Nothing the Obamanites do surprises me anymore. Obama and his following of inept inexperienced Chicago socialists will say anything and debase anyone just to win. I have to say I actually enjoyed the RNC. I will not watch the DNC because it will not be good for my health. Listening to lie after lie after lie is exhausting. As for Mia Love, she is a fabulous woman, something Obama and company wouldn't understand. Up and awesome and shared.

One thing one quickly observes about the left....they reward failure with recognition and ignore individual effort if it pertains to success. Failure and victimization is their way of proving that things are bad for everyone. Success and individual achievement undermine their efforts to keep folks on the plantation and under the thumb of the all powerful government watch. To see a young, black woman step out and (using Condi Rice's perspective) envision herself to become more than she was told that she could be is highly inspiring to all people. One thing is apparent....success and the hard work she put into it has opened her eyes as to who the real oppressors of the world are today. Good write, FP! ~WB

Patty - All I can tell anyone is that this election isn't one where casting a vote that will mean nothing but helping to reelect Obama is the best course to follow. None of the third party candidates stand a chance. Best to protest later and not in November.

So I'll vote for someone who has been successful in the free market and actually created jobs. Obama likes to talk the talk but the walk isn't there and never has been.

I encourage anyone to go and see 2016, Obama's America to understand the person behind that mouth of his.

Anyone THIS time "writing" anyone in is REALLY for NObama. It took us, The Tea Party, to start slow with removing and replacing Sen and congress people since we started in 2008. Now, after we elect Mitt, we'll move on for the next BIG poilitical spot- the Prez. BUT this Nov is not the time to try move on. AND we must have better people than Rfool as a candidate! He was NEVER going to get it.

So, we'll watch Mitt closely during his Presidency and IF we don't like it, we'll do what we've done.

BUT make no mistake, you have ONLY 2 choices- NObama OR Romney. Period. Any other vote/write in you're being brain-washed and sound like a fool. this is no time to act like you FINALLY give a damn.

One thing that I am totally convinced of....Romney can never in his best days create the disaster that Obama has brought unless he attempts to follow Obama's recipe for the future. I see no indication of that. I truly believe that Romney wants the same America back that we all want and he will work to get us there. ~WB
