TED BUNDY PUT LIPSTICK ON DEAD GIRLS BODIES

AND EYE SHADOW, TOO

HE OFTEN RETURNED, MANY TIMES, TO A GIRL'S BODY HE'D DUMPED IN THE WOODS.

SOMETIMES he'd spend the whole night with the body, lying on the ground with it.

OFTEN he'd put eye shadow and lipstick on the decomposing bodies of the girls he'd murdered. What a perverse mind he had.

IN PRISON INTERVIEWS he admitted to these acts, also admitting that he often had sex with the decomposing bodies, until the smell was too bad.

HE ALSO practiced necrophilia, eating some body parts.

YET the interviewers have reported that Bundy wouldn't tell everything he did with the bodies, saying he didn't want to be known as a pervert.

MAYBE I'm naïve, but I can't imagine anything worse than what Bundy DID admit to.

WHAT can be worse than murder, sex with the bodies, and necrophilia?

PLEASE don't answer that question. I really don't want to know.

BUNDY decapitated at least 12 of his victims, and took some of the skulls home to his apartment, where, he said, he kept them for a long time.

SOME of the skulls the police found in the woods had their front teeth broken out. They have wondered if he did that for a sexual reason.

THOUGH it's always been believed that Bundy quickly killed the girls he kidnapped, there's evidence in one case that he kept the girl alive for at least five days before he murdered her. That leaves the door open for questions about him torturing his victims, too.

A 12 YEAR OLD GIRL was also a victim of his, so he was a pedophile, too. He raped her and murdered her.

TED BUNDY was an absolute monster, though he didn't look like one.

YET, while he was on trial in Florida, obviously guilty, and infamous throughout the whole country, there was a woman who wanted to be his wife.

DURING the trial, Bundy acted as his own attorney, which allowed him to question witnesses.

THERE was an old law still on the books in Florida, one which Bundy found and took advantage of.

HE called his girlfriend to the stand and while questioning her asked her if she wanted to marry him. After she answered yes, he declared that they were married, and it was legal.

THE law also allowed Bundy and his new wife to have conjugal visits.

HIS wife became pregnant by him and gave birth do a daughter for Bundy.

YOU have to wonder about that woman, his wife.

THERE'S no current information about her. Evidently she later changed her name and the little girl's name and disappeared.

TED BUNDY, it has been reported, had a degree in psychology.

THAT'S not terribly surprising. It's not unusual for someone like him to study psychology, in order to use it to manipulate people and help him learn how to choose his victims.

BUNDY was arrested twice as a juvenile, for shoplifting, and that's evidence that he was already acting out.

IN FACT, when he was 14 years old, a little girl who lived near him was murdered. In hindsight, many law enforcement people wonder if Bundy was the murderer. No one knows for sure, and Bundy wouldn't admit to it, but it is possible. What is it they say about coincidence?

IN the murders he is known to have committed, that he admitted to, he first bludgeoned his victims, usually with a tire iron he kept under the seat in his car.

IT IS also known that he sexually assaulted his victims, often with foreign objects, often causing terrible internal injuries.

HE ALSO liked to bite his victims, sometimes leaving their bodies with bitemarks all over them. One body was found with the nipple almost bitten off.

HOW MUCH did those girls have to endure before he killed them?

BUNDY has explained that even as a young child he was fascinated by pictures of sex and violence.

EVIDENTLY his grandfather had some pornography hidden but Bundy found the magazines and spent hours looking at them.

IT DOESN'T seem unusual that a young boy would be curious and even fascinated with pornography, but what put Bundy in a different category is that he said he liked the violence in the pictures.

A NORMAL boy would probably spend some time figuring out what he was looking at, but once he realized the women were being hurt, the boy would be horrified. He wouldn't like it. He'd know it was wrong and bad. He wouldn't go back to the magazines again and again.

BORN in Burlington. Vermont, in 1946, Ted Bundy was as illigitimate child passed off to the townsfolk as the son of his grandparents. Bundy, himself, was told his mother was his sister.

AS A CHILD and even into his high school years, he was known as a shy boy. It seems he probably learned how to socialize from his college studies in psychology.

BUNDY once  explained that as a child he didn't understand what made people want to be friends. Doesn't that mean he wasn't actually shy, but he seemed shy because he didn't have an interest in making friends?

HE ALSO said he didn't know what made people attractive to each other.

SO, even though he had a college girlfriend for a couple of years, and a later girlfriend he stayed with for six years, and still later a wife, it seems he had other reasons than attraction for his relationships.

NOR did any of his victims interest him beyond the fact that they were female. That's all that seemed to matter to him. It has been noted that his victims had certain features in common, particularly long dark hair parted down the middle, but Bundy himself said he never set out to kill a certain type of girl. And that's certainly true of his time in Florida, when he was on a killing spree and every girl was unsafe.

BUNDY told  an investigator who interviewed him on death row that he did think about his murders, that he didn't block out his past.  He said he wouldn't trade the person he was, or what he'd done, or the people he'd known, for anything. "At times it's a rather mellow trip to lay back and remember", he said.

A PICTURE is  two-dimensional. Flat. Optical illusions let us imagine distances, textures, curves and hollows, but the photo is flat, a piece of paper.

THAT seems to be how Bundy chose to 'see' his world. He liked it that way. It allowed him to kill randomly with no remorse, because he didn't care about anyone.

TOWARD the end of his life, when asked if he felt any remorse, he replied, "So what's one less? What's one less person on the planet?"

TED BUNDY WAS A MODERN DAY MONSTER, AS EVIL AS ANY MONSTER THOUGHT UP BY A NOVELIST. THERE ARE TWO LESSONS TO LEARN FROM HIM: A MONSTER CAN BE GOOD LOOKING, AND A MONSTER CAN BE HIDING IN THE CAST HE PUT ON HIS LEG IN ORDER TO SEDUCE A TRUSTING GIRL TO HELP HIM. IT'S GOOD HE'S DEAD. AND HE SHOULD ONLY BE REMEMBERED AS AN EVIL SOCIOPATH.

I don't think these labels that we use to label people are a good idea. Some people are just confused, sick or do the wrong things. I think these acts just don't make sense and therefore, the person is just simply a disturbed individual. All of these types of folks need to learn more about themselves and more about different types of races and people in general and discover some set of values which can lead them down a more enlightened path. I think at times there are people out there that can be idiots but does that mean that gives me the right to play God and wipe them out because I think that way about someone. Everyone depends on each other and if someone places blame on someone else I say both parties are at fault. The monster is as much a victom due to what society puts into the world and him as is the innocent bystanding victims are. You have to see what is at the root of the Monster even if it is genetic, society has to adapt and change and grow and improve and become a better place where Monsters can be Angels instead. The media is a good start. I see monsters feeding monsters and a self perpetuating cycle taking place. It may seem funny to some people but stop and ask yourself because maybe you know the difference between fantasy and reality but others obviously do not and lets their fantasies consume them. We need better fantasies. Maybe we should burn some of the media or wake up and recognize some tainted individuals I call weeds and do what ever we can to resolve their disturbing existance.

There is no evil. For that matter, there is no morality. Justice does not exist, because its basis has fallen out from under it on occasion of never having been there in the first place. This man, this murderer, this monster, was a human being, just like any other man, and it is neither good nor bad that he is dead, and it is neither good nor bad that anyone he murdered is dead. I would be willing to say the same to the faces of any of the family members of his victims, and if that makes me a monster, just like this man was, then so be it, but if you choose to believe that it is a good thing or a bad thing to be a monster as he is and as I am, then I presume that deep down inside you know that you are hurting nobody but yourself as you taint your heart with the act of judgment of another human being. The fact that you judge us to be "evil" does not bother me, nor does the fact that you hurt yourself by doing so.

Count Blarg 6 years ago

Oh yeah, one more thing: maybe one day, I'll be a murderer like this guy, and when the ones who judge others approach me with their debate drafts and their research papers, I'll laugh. And when I'm being executed, I'll laugh. And when I'm dead, I'll laugh. And laugh. And laugh.

Blarg,

I noticed that you commented as a non-registered user with no info about yourself whatsoever for us to see. I can only hope that you wrote your twisted comments in an effort to shock and disgust those of us with morals, ehtics, and feelings. If you truly feel the things you said, I strongly suggest that you seek mental health assistance before you too are a true monster.

Count Blarg 6 years ago

Oh, don't worry, SheriSapp. As of now, you're all safe from me... As of now, I'd never kill anyone; I don't have it in me. As of now, I can hardly bear to see someone in pain, even very minor pain. I'm more human than most of the people I see around me. I, too, possess the prejudices that you people call "morals" and "ethics." Even so, I see them as nothing more than prejudices, even if they *are* wired into the minds of every normal human being, and I hope to one day be free of them as sociopaths are. I hope to one day fully realize that human beings are nothing more than inanimate objects with electricity coursing through them that causes them to behave in ways that will make that electricity continue to course through them and all the other human beings around them. I believe that if everyone realized this, it would be the first step to eliminating fear completely from the human mind; since fear is the stem of all actions by humans that cause sadness in other humans, without any fear left at all, there would no longer be anything *to* fear, and we would all be much happier.

To truly see the light, you must first embrace the darkness. You must learn to love those who cannot love you back. You must learn to appreciate the humanity in those who cannot appreciate your own. Only when the darkness has been embraced for what it is can it truly be lifted.

Count Blarg 6 years ago

Those who turn against the darkness are like many blind men swinging daggers at mere shade; violence swings, but it strikes nothing; if anything, the blind men strike one another, and the darkness grows.

Count blarg, with your attitude and disregard for saying childish things, I would think someone will kill you before you ever get around to it. By the way your a sick freak of nature for writing that!

Sheila very interesting read!

Count Blarg 6 years ago

I confess to being a freak of nature. I embrace this property of mine. My autism may hurt me, but it has helped me in more ways than even I know. Furthermore, nobody can kill me if I truly believe that they will not.

Yes, I am a freak of nature. And you, my friend, are a blind man who swings a dagger at mere shade and strikes nothing. I hope that one day you can give up your spread of negative energy and begin to love those who cannot love at all, those who can only pretend to love and use that mask for their own personal gain. I hope that one day you can love without expecting anything in return and thus learn a form of affection that comes with no vulnerability. On that day, you'll be better than I ever was; here I am, still trying to fight off negative energy with more negative energy; here I am, still trying to warn you who judge that your judgments are inconsequential compared to what truly must be done, rather than embracing you for your actions of judgment so as to end them. I, too, am a blind man. I still bear my prejudice of morality; I still cannot help but despise those such as you who judge others, thus, by my hatred, judging you myself. I am still a prejudiced hypocrite who spreads more negative energy in an ocean of negative energy. I am no better than I was when I believed that being a prejudiced hypocrite and spreading negative energy was somehow what I needed to do to be happy. I know what I must do, but in doing so I am a failure. I can't believe I have the gall to call my self a blackbelt.

Oh, by the way:

"THAT seems to be how Bundy chose to 'see' his world. He liked it that way. It allowed him to kill randomly with no remorse, because he didn't care about anyone."

Notice the word "chose". This is inaccurate. Sociopaths do not "choose" to see the world in a flat way. Sociopaths see the world in a flat way whether they want to or not. Sociopaths have no conscience, no prejudice of morality. There is nothing they are capable of seeing that might flesh out their world. They are morally empty. Ted Bundy couldn't have been empathetic if he *wanted* to be. If you had an apple and you wanted to eat it, would you eat it? Of course you would. There's nothing wrong with that. Sociopaths see no reason not to kill people, so how do you expect them not to? Sure, people tell sociopaths not to kill people, but they see no moral obligation to obey these people; to them, the words that come out of these people's mouths are just more apples to be eaten. Maybe those apples are a bit rotten; maybe they don't want to eat them. Nothing wrong with that. How do you expect a someone to listen to his or her conscience if he or she has none? How do you expect someone to refrain from killing if he or she sees no reason to do so? You don't. These people cannot be blamed for what they do. We need to find a way to protect ourselves from them without blaming them, hating them, judging them. Blame, hatred, and judgment will just hurt us, as everyone has their reasons for their actions and therefore no-one is truly deserving of any of these three things, and to impart negative energy unto one who does not deserve it is to hurt oneself.

Count Blarg 6 years ago

We cannot end all murder until we end all murderers. It is absurd to attempt to kill all murderers, because the quantity of murderers who exist is constantly growing; besides, if someone were to kill all murderers, they would be murderers and therefore have to kill themselves, at which point the next time murderers came into existence, the person who had resolved to kill all murderers would no longer be able to keep his/her word because he/she would be dead. Because to end all murders, all murderers must be ended, but it is absurd to kill all murderers, it is crucial that an alternative method be used. In order to end all murderers without killing them, we must change the way that society treats people who cannot empathize. These people do not deserve to be looked upon as demons, monsters, or outcasts; in fact, it is this negative view of sociopaths that causes the social tension in their lives that causes the anger that, due to a lack of the fundamental restraint that would in any normal person be provided by empathy and morality, causes them to kill people. In short, it is because we refuse to accept sociopaths for who they are that they become murderers. We need to open up our minds. We need to accept sociopaths for who they are. Because our very moral beliefs are precisely that to which the sight of a person who is incapable of empathy is offensive, we cannot accept sociopaths for who they are until we abandon our moral beliefs. In conclusion, to stop murder once and for all, we must stop believing in right and wrong, or at least stop believing in wrong and start regarding everything as right in its own way. Regarding murder as wrong does naught but cause more murders to occur.

Count Blarg 6 years ago

Do not consider me naïve. I have encountered murders before. There have been times at which I have been confronted by people who I later confirmed to be murderers. I know the similar situations and similar fright to the situations and fright you've known regarding murders and murderers; nonetheless, I choose to react differently.

Ted bundy is an enigma. No one can be really sure of who he was. A grave psychological condition must have afflicted him, but it could have been a genetic thing. And don`t forget he was abandoned by his mother, left for adoption soon after he was born. For two months he was in foster care. His mother tried to escape from him. She never wanted her child. She had tried to save her face, because her family was seen as religious, her father Sam cowell a church deacon.Ted was an unfortunate man. What he did was absolutely monstrous, but I pity him.

This was very well done. I've read a lot on Bundy. My interest grew when I moved to Seattle 21 years ago. Morbidly fascinating doesn't fit anyone quite as well as him. I agree with you... His memory should not be honored in any way.... Great job!

Kat 5 years ago

wow i just read this article and i hope Ted bundy gets what he deserves

Bob 5 years ago

Scares me so many have such a Morbid fascination with him, as we do with so many monsters! (look at youth-full trend to love vampires, wearwolves ect ect.) I wish i could say different, but here I am looking into such things. Be nice to see a world where we are all safe from monsters... be them real or imaginary, family, friends or strangers

Sorrow 5 years ago

I agree with you psychopath... Although what Ted Bundy did was truly monstrous, his story is a tragic one as well. He WAS all of the things the media made him out to be. The sad part is, however, that his victims were too. And yet, because of his selfish, uncontrollable desires, they were taken from this world. With all my heart I believe Ted Bundy received what he deserved... But, this story has always made me think. How close are we to crossing into that same realm Bundy did? What I mean by that is, I wonder how many of us are willing to toss aside the curtain of morality for our own pleasure. For instance, Bundy was deeply involved in pornography. Violent pornography had a huge influence on his life. Ted wanted to make that fantasy into reality, and decided to act upon the same violence he so often viewed... It's scary to think that there are people out there who would and often do the same.

Are you people idiots? The woman that wrote this article is a freakin' moron. It was mildly informative but filled with inaccurate information and bad writing, like a ten year old wrote it. Moreover, necrophilia is not eating the dead people lady, that's called cannibalism, necrophilia is what Bundy was doing when he was having sex with them after he illed them. Oh, and you people at the end comment about how intellignt Count Blarg is.....are you freakin' kidding me? If it's a kid or an adult, either way, this weirdo needs some mental help, and he is not intelligent! Just a complete idiot sicko creep!

Dana 4 years ago

Bundy was a sick, psycho. I am surprised we keep discussing this disgusting guy as if he was some complicated puzzle. He was just a pervert acting out on his dark desires. Simple & that's the truth. As for his admirers, may you get diarreah and die from it.

Sad 4 years ago

What Bundy did was horrible, but I believe the fascination with him is normal. We make our own code of ethics by studying each other. Like it or not, humans judge. Even sociopaths judge, not as the rest of us do, but they still make choices based on what they find to be pleasing. That is a type of judgement. Often, very intelligent sociopaths judge others for being less intelligent than they are. Bundy judged. He preyed on those more compassionate than he, mistaking it for stupidity since compassion was most likely a foreign concept to him.

My point is that, everyone on this blog, for whatever reason, struggles to understand what this man did. Call him sick, call him a monster, it makes no difference. No one, Count B. included, can fathom what it would be like to be so disconnected from others that violent murder seemed like an acceptable act.

I feel badly for Count B if the reason for his ramblings is a feeling of isolation due to his autism. I hope that is all it is and that I am not

This person that is dumb enough to write these pathetic excuses for what this evil creature that caused so much pain to not only the helpless victims, but their families as well, clearly needs to be in a mental hospital. If Ted Bundy had no concious, why didn't he kill his mother, his girlfriends, his friends at campus and so on? He was well aware of what he was doing, and plain and simple...he enjoyed it.

Mikaela 3 years ago

I dont see why everyone is giving the writer of this article greif. He is only stating facts of the situation. It is very common for serial killers to lack a concious. The writer of the article is not twisted, Ted Bundy was twisted. Do some research before talking shit thank you :)

myniki813 3 years ago

sad,but true story. i won't call him a monster though, because i some-what believe that no one is born that way. even people with brain problems at birth could never grow up to be this way without something else and their lives affecting them too. serial killers seem to all have something in common,an in-some-way traumatizing/life changing experience. we can never fully understand why people like ted bundy are created. we can only work with what little information we get and try to get inside their heads with that. its like i always say, the only person who knows you best is you. i can't even imagine what pain those girls must of gone through. but i do wonder sometimes if what we hear about serial killers is true. are they really born that way, traumatized while growing up,or purposely created. I've heard conspiracy theories about things like this. how the government may have something to do with this. sort of like what you hear about celebrities and a cult. the proof is all around us. anyways, that's just my input. i wont say too much about ted bundy because 1)people here have already typed paragraphs similar to my thoughts, and 2)everyone that comes here probably knows enough about ted, whether from reading this text piece or reading about him somewhere else. although we will never know enough. any other proof there may be isn't in our hands. I've noticed that he like most serial killers are all over the internet. its sad how were always able to remember the killer but not the victims .............

Rebecca: Bundy was not "well on his way to becoming a successful attorney." He was flunking out of law school at the time of his arrest and admitted he had no aptitude for the law. The myth about Bundy's brilliance sounded good in the press, but in reality his IQ was only slightly above average.

Yes, Bundy volunteered at a crisis clinic for a college credit. It is true that he did help some callers stay on the line until help arrived. However, many believed it was Bundy that made harassing phone calls to the elderly that he felt misused the crisis line. Ann Rule also reported that Bundy turned off the phones and slept when he manned the overnight shift alone.

"Stephanie Brooks" played a role in Ted's life during a turbulent time, but to say she was a catalyst for his murder spree is far fetched. Chances are very strong that his first murder predated that relationship by years.

I agree with the hope that Bundy's victims can finally rest in peace.

Sadly I'm very sexually aroused by thoughts of raping and killing attractive women. I have been since I was 12 years old. I have often masturbated while fantasizing about ted bundy murdering those women and mutilating them.

I don't want to be this way but I can't make it stop. I don't think I'll ever hurt anyone and I'm actually very kind to people now.

When I was little I used to kill and mutilate animals and was obsessed with death. I've come a long way. I'm trying to get help.

Nathan 23 months ago

The fact of the matter is that Ted Bundy did love his mother, he did love his grandfather, he wouldn't have been with "liz" so long if he didn't love her. He enjoyed stalking women and tormenting them. He loved scaring them. If you look under his mask you will see there are things he didn't understand, you will see a single tear, you will see he isn't so different from many other men but that he loved death and murder. He chose them over everything. It is is safe to judge him. He crossed the line and he knew it, he didn't care. He forced himself to not care in order to be able to do this so many times in the first place.

jolie 18 months ago

Well for us, normal human beings, loving and caring for some one, like our children husband's and wives, are normal for us, we are happy when we're in love or being loved, for Ted bundy, without killing he didn't feel normal, that was his normal.so he had to do it over and over again, what's normal for us, wasn't normal for him.Thats what filled his life, the killing.
