THE G.O.P. MUST NOT UNDERRATE OBAMA.

... and it's members should not turn America's history to suit their own whim and caprice.

The Grand Old Party is desperately eager to bring down the newly elected Obama administration, its efforts defy imagination; and it is like the grueling campaign that has just ended in the 2012 presidential election, is still going on. It has hardly stopped.

The losing candidate, Mitt Romney, is making excuses, the latest being that the voters are corrupt, as they have succumbed to the "gifts" being offered by the Democratic candidate, and thus winning him a second term. WHAT?

His supporters of an army of television personnel are moving heaven and earth to cripple or even suffocate the Democracy that is guiding the country's unity, and they are involved in plotting to cause damage to everything that is dear to the nation.

They are invoking and encouraging cessation by states from the Union, with people signing petitions to that effect in Texas, Louisiana and other Southern states.

Even the the scepter of Watergate, the debilitating debacle that has toppled Richard Nixon from the presidency of the United States for the first time in history, is being invoked to undermine the present occupant of the White House.

People who must know better, are inclined to make a terror attack in Benghazi that has resulted in the killing of four diplomats, including the U.S. Ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, into an issue, which is politically motivated, by saying that President Barack Obama is engaged in a "cover up", for not telling the American people the truth about the attack.

They are forgetting that it is he, who now represents the American people, by virtue of winning the 2012 presidential election, and not them; yet, they, some of whom are Senators and Congressional representatives, are pushing the accusation in the U.S. Congress to get him in trouble.

Such reprehensible conduct by a party, which has lost a very important election, must not be tolerated, as its only aim is to destroy and not to build a strong country, as the U.S. must be.

Mitt Romney, who has represented the Republican Party in the 2012 presidential election, has been head of a private equity firm, Bain Capital, whose modus operandi are looked on as unscrupulous in business, and he would never be accepted by the rest of the world, particularly the free world, as being honest. His alleged tax evasion and foreign bank accounts proved that point.

So, the world celebrated the occasion, when Obama was re-elected as president of the U.S. for the second time; and that has angered his (Romney's) backers so much so that they would do anything to bring him (Obama) down.

Their latest weapon would be the Benghazi attack, and they would use it to frame him as lying to the same people that have just voted him into power.

Yet, would that work? Certainly not; because he has done nothing wrong. He has rather taken the pain to describe what happened for four Americans to lose their lives, and that as long as all the information about that incident was not in, he could only urge people to exercise patience. There were several investigations on his orders still going on to get the matter resolved.

The Benghazi attack was like the 9/11 attacks on New York City and Washington, D,C. in 2001. It coincidentally happened on the 11th anniversary of those attacks on the same date.

It was unprovoked, and like the previous attacks, whose mastermind, Osama bin Laden, he (Obama) took care of, by ordering the U.S. Navy Seals to track and kill him, he (Obama) was on the trail of the perpetrators of the Benghazi attack, and that they too would be brought to justice; as he has vouched for that.

Patriotic Americans know what is in the minds of his detractors; and that is to stop him from doing what he has been elected to do. Therefore, what they (detractors) are up to is very simple, and that is to get Obama out of their way for them to do whatever they choose.

However, that is not what the American people voted for in the 2012 presidential election. They re-elected him to lead the country and not them, the detractors.

The GOP will have their chance in the next four years to show that they have a better candidate to present to the nation in the 2016 presidential election. That is when the people will decide to vote for him or her or not.

What some of its (GOP's) members are doing now is tantamount to treachery, if not treasonous. Let them bear in mind that Obama will survive any test, as he has the ability to do exactly that by his performance in the last four years, being president of the U.S.

This is one of the funniest statements I read. Thank you for the laugh.

"The Benghazi attack was like the 9/11 attacks on New York City and Washington, D,C. in 2001. It coincidentally happened on the 11th anniversary of those attacks on the same date. "

And Petreus is testifying about his affair? Whenever someone pleads that we should stop the freedom of speech attacks on politicians. There is something highly questionable. The GOP better underrate, overrate and berate the president. Gosh we only have two parties.
