Killing at will...

At the other end of the street, one could hear a far cry of a child as he hastily searches for his mother who had left him just a few minutes back…he sees her running towards him in the distance hiding something under her cloths…as a smile could touch his face seeing her emerge from the crowd, a bullet pierced right through her chest which was shot by a soldier from behind, after which she fell on the ground instantly and was in a pool of blood, she somehow managed to lift her face and take a one last glance towards her beloved son who was utterly stunned and confused to the event taking place before his very eyes and then she closed her eye lids…forever…the soldiers who had shot her came over to her cold body and moved the cloth which covered what she was holding…it was a loaf of bread which she was taking for her hungry child…one soldier jokingly commented to the other ‘I told you it looked like a bomb she was carrying’ for which the other replied ‘it is always better to clear our doubts rather than presume’…Laughter echoes in the air as if celebrating her death and the poor child was left to succumb to the fiasco…

A Daily Story...

It was a weekend and the family of four were enjoying their evening tea, over a game of chess, watching the local news over the television which spoke only about the daily killings which took place of innocent citizens and who were later affiliated to one or the other terrorist groups…in an instance four men heavily armed, dressed as soldiers who belonged to the “Foreign army” entered their house and ordered them to come out…the soldiers did not even allow the mother and daughter to wear their veils which is an absolute necessity for a woman in this part of the world…it seemed like a scene straight from a Hollywood movie, everything was happening so fast that the family members were hardly breathing, startled by the events unfolding in front of them…as they were literally dragged out off their house, they could see a bulldozer right in front of them rearing to move forward and destroy whatever lay in front of it…as one of the persons standing besides it gave a nod of approval to the operator, the beast started to shatter the walls of the house and kept on moving forward…no amount of resistance from the family was entertained or were showed an ounce of mercy, on the other hand the ‘foreigners’ had a sense of pride touch their faces like they have accomplished a part of their assignment both official and personal, as the forcefully occupied land was supposed to give way for new settlements to people belonging to their nation and religion…as the destruction of the house was complete and what was left of the house was only a pile of rubble, a couple of soldiers turned towards the family and pointed their guns right at their foreheads…the neighbors heard three shots…one after the other, only the small boy was left to weep at his family’s death and live a life of torment here after…that was the movement he told himself that the only motive of his life was ‘Revenge’

"The Holy Land" Speaks...

I am a part of this planet they call The Holy Land’…I have for centuries witnessed brawl and scuffle over acquiring every yard of my space…I have, seen humans batter me and spill blood all over me either in the name of religion, politics, culture, alter- ego, greed or simply revenge…I ask, how much more blood should my fertile soil soak…there were numerous so called Great men to mention a few prominent were Caliph Umar (R.A.)The Great, Solomon (R.A.) The Great, Alexander The Great, Saladin ibn Ayyūb, and the Ottoman rulers who came, conquered, ruled, and demised over me and still the ‘others’ have not realized that attaining without having the love for me in their hearts is not possible…I am the ground which was honored by the visit ("Night Journey") of the "Praiseworthy" (SAW) and “His” love for me…on me is built the "Farthest Mosque" which is the gift given to me by God

I shout out loud and ask…would ‘anybody do anything’ about the killings of guiltless people, would anyone ask ‘why and how much more'…'why is everybody turning a blind eye to the Massacre???’

I ask the believer of Kabbalah, why are they in the pursuit of acquiring a part of me by coercion and by intimidating the ‘rightful dwellers’ of this beautiful region…the believers of the “One Eyed God” do not realize that with every forceful act, they are getting nearer to Satan and closer to their own demise…I reveal this truth to them and their 'supporters' in their efforts that no matter how much suffering or hardships they may bring upon the Rightful owners of this land, they would never succeed in their quest because throughout history injustice and violence bought upon “The Believers” have met the worst of ends…

STOP KILLING AND MOVE OUT…

Hello MAK, good to see you here…thank you for your insightful comment…the saddest thing is that the worlds' super powers support these killings and settlements either directly or by just turning a blind eye on it which only results in adding more fuel to the fire…

Hey FK, thank you for your profound thought on the subject…as long as there is greed, abhorrence and conceit within the human kind, peace and harmony cannot prevail…we need to realize that this planet is meant for one and all, only by living in concord would result in our development and progress and not otherwise…hopefully things should change for the better and God willing all our prayers should be answered…Thank you again, Cheers…

A powerful hub no doubt and poetically written yet again. I hope it gives voice to the weak, innocent civilians - women and children suffering anywhere in the world, on any side of a border, paying the price of wars. Whispering a prayer for them all... keep writing...and best of luck, always :)

Hello MOW,thank you for your most appreciated comments…this topic has disturbed me since many years now and I feel so sad and heartbroken every time the people in that region face death and the few who have survived life a tortured life…nations talk about development, human rights, peace, etc...but I don’t see any of that materializing in Palestine simply because there are no voices strong enough to stand against the brutality…I am very hopeful and pray that serenity and tranquility prevails in all the war wreaked regions around the world…take care…Peace.

Hey BP, it is great to have you read my hub..thank you for your thoughtful words..the scenario in Palestine is extremely pathetic since many decades now..the problem is that the outside world is not given the actual picture of all what is happening there..the media is immensely prejudiced and has built a very different picture than what is reality..we have to thank God for keeping us away from all the horrible slaughtering of innocent civilians taking place around the world..Take care

Very powerful and moving and I think you are going to be great on Hub Pages! The shrinking picture of Palestine says it all, pretty much. Just like the blockade proved it, and what you say above proves and says it. And it's impossible not to feel affected by the plight of these people. Or to be angry at the sick events that have happened here for so long. Thanks for sharing with us.

Sometimes it is the people we trust most who betray us.The incidents of soldiers posted to protect people are ones who commit crimes and get away with it.Even women and children are not spared.Terrorists are known to spread terror but protectors? What do they gain from this? The problem in middle east is not hidden from anyone and I just hope this ends someday so we can all live in peace.

Very well written hub!

Hello Uma,Thank for the lovely thought..I agree with you that the people who are supposed to protect are the ones committing the most number of crimes..I mean, there are numerous 'war crimes' which take place across the world and they are not even allowed to be published..Thanks again to the Satanic MEDIA.. I guess a human has more hate within him than love, thats why the person who is supposed to be a savior, also kills you at will...The situation in Palestine is surely now hidden to the outside world, but what I wanted to portray is the intensity with which people are made to suffer and forced to live such a deprived conditions..thank you again and saying Amen to your prayer..Much love…

Magic Boy, Wow...I am somewhat speechless. I have so many emotions going through me. Thank you for writing this, it really helped me view from a different perspective. It saddens me greatly to place myself in their shoes for even a moment. I can't imagine living this way. No one should have to live like that. It's so endless and destructive. I will be thinking about this hub for a long long time. Thank you for shedding light on these horrendous unthinkable acts which cause so much hardship and suffering. It is not how anyone should have to live. Daily fear and zero rights. Really really horrible and heartbreaking. All the innocent deserve much peace. Jess

Again, another well written hub. If only more people thought at you do. The Israelis seem to think that because of what has happened to them over the centuries that they have the right to treat people as they like. They are no better than the Nazis in some of their acts. Because of what happened to them they should have learned some humanity for others but it is not evident in their actions. They seem very full of revenge.

Hey Jess, I am delighted after reading you comments, as like my previous article my main agenda to publish these posts was to spread more aware about the related topics, as I felt that somehow the subjects were not portrayed in an appropriate manner and the images of them were either no present or were distorted…

The picture presented to the outside world about the daily life in Palestine is greatly biased and controlled, hence we rely greatly on various sources of media…but if one could meet a person hailing from that region, he would have a very different story to tell you…the basic necessities of life are deprived to those people..and the media calls them sophisticated terrorists..Hope peace prevails throughout the world..

Thank you for coming across my post..much appreciate it..

HB, your words filled me with self assurance and the thought that there is so much good left in the world scraped my mind..the disputed region has enough for both the nations to live peacefully and with harmony…I don’t understand how can someone just barge in someone else’s territory, kill member of family and declare the property to be his and still justify his actions to be rightfull..

I pray that peace and serenity fills that region of troubled world which also the holy land for the three major religions.. sending a silent prayer your way…

Hi MagicBoy, I believe that what you are saying goes so much deeper than just this fight, it is the fact that most of the Middle East a person cannot be free to express themselves through love especially for the love of their own mother and women. Unfortunately these terrorists are given money from the oil that we put in our cars every day. Without the funds the terrorists have no money to buy the guns, the ammunition and the control. I hear that you write from a place of peace and you are but the few who do, I wish that more people in your position would take the stand of love positive thinking and come from that. In the end we come into this world alone and when we die we leave the world alone, but along with that all of the acts of kindness that goes with it and I suppose all of the acts of hatred as well. I feel that what Hummingbird5356 said came from a place of being anti semetic and that is not about peace that fules more hatred. Peace is brough about by having good thought towards finding a solution not bad thoughts about blame, then the power of the bad thoughts fuels more bad thoughs, it is about innocence of people were are all people.

Peace

Hey Dawn, it is good to have your comments posted on the topic…I agree with you that my meaning of writing this article goes deeper than just the fight itself, I wanted to show a glimpse into the real cause of the fight taking place there… it is heart shattering to know that the facts are just the opposite to what the Jews claim to be true…people in Palestine have not enough water and food to survive, selling their natural resource of oil and gas is just next to impossible…the Israel’s are the ones who have occupied the oil wells and selling it under their name…so all that money is going into Israel’s economy and not in the hands of the terrorists...it is not the question of one being anti semetic or not, it is accepting the truth which is taking place right in front of everybody’s eyes and still no one wants to acknowledge it…

My prayers are for the week and dying people in that region and around the world and hope that peace would be the only code and practice one would follow throughout the world …thanks anyways…

Magic Boy, you e-mailed to write back on this and what my stance is that you have taken a very real problem and given a solid picture of what you see happening. The problem that I have with what you answered back to me and the one sign that was held up is the confusion between religion and race? Why not just say Israelis, but you stated Jews this confused me, if I am a Jew, am I an Israeli? If I am a Muslim and I an Iranian? Or if I am Catholic am I Mexican? Just wanted to point out the difference, because it takes away from the credibility of your purpose and that is to tell the world about the suffering that is going on and it is tragic and horrible. As for as oil, I believe that oil is a huge problem and if eliminated it would decrease the funds to all tourists that are buying weapons to use to kill other human beings that is tragic. Pointing fingers at a religion is not the answer; the answer is to put the power of building back a community in the hands of the people who are suffering, by giving those people jobs, food, clothing, shelter, love…….

Alrighty Then! 6 years ago

I was curious to read some of Dawn's other posts here because I notice she has a superior errs with people. I actually agree with her points about how peace is the answer, and focusing on religion is not a good way of tackling this. However, I disagree with her having to attack your credibility because everyone is allowed to write online and have free speech. I honestly hate all of these conflicts, and I see wrongs on the Israeli side and the Arab side. you are entitled to your opinions, and so is Dawn, but I did not like how she lectured you.

@MagicBoy profile image

@MagicBoy 6 years ago from Qatar Author

Dawn, it seems to me like we are almost starting a war of words right here amongst us…lol...that is the reason I had sent a separate mail to you as I did not want conflicts to arise here on my post…coming back to your confusion regarding Jews and Israelis, as my article relates to the ‘land of dispute’ and not the entire world, I have always quoted Jews as the population who stay in Israel and not anywhere else…wonder why would anyone take it as a general statement…I have used Jews and Israelis interchangeably in my article and my comments…I guess I should add a disclaimer about this, just to remove any mis-conceptions… Again, about the problem relating to oil…as I have already mention above that ‘Palestine’ has very limited oil resources and the little available is almost entirely controlled by Israelis and US…So you see, oil cannot be the reason for funding terrorism in Palestine…I guess you are mixing the whole of Middle East with Palestine, as the situation in Palestine is very different from the other countries in the Middle East…when the land belonging to the Palestine people has been forcefully occupied by Israelis, how can anyone claim or presume that they are benefited by the natural resources of their country…The Middle East conflicts, Iran, terrorism, oil etc are different topics all together and do not relate to this article…

My hub was not to point out fingers at any religion or any nation even…all I want to convey here is the sufferings witnessed by the people in Palestine and the reasons behind this…I feel heart broken when people die anywhere around the world irrespective of religion, nationality, race, gender etc…as my religion teaches us to lead a peaceful and tolerant life…but the media shows a very different picture of Palestine to the world than what is the actual truth, that is what I have tried to bring out in my article… that’s all…I don’t think this is the right forum to debate on our conflicting thoughts on the topic though… Hope I have cleared your misunderstandings regarding my article and hope were are at peace with each other…you are a wonderful writer and I appreciate you for all what you have posted even if I do not agree with many things you have mentioned…thank you…Peace…

AT, thank you for your comments here…I do agree entirely with you that Dawn is a great writer and I really appreciate her for writing skills…as you would have read my previous moments to Dawn and others regarding my article, I have always been at the side of peace and harmony…I do strongly believe that peace is the only way to end this conflict…I do not intend to criticize any religion for their teachings, I am nobody to do that and my religion does not preach/allow us to do so…I guess Dawn mistook the subject and the intension of my article and forced me to comment on things which are not related to this topic at all…about my credibility to write, I think I have the freedom to speak my mind like the way I think all others have, so that is okay…thank you for your support though…much appreciate it…Cheers…

I hear that you write from a place of peace and you are but the few who do, I wish that more people in your position would take the stand of love positive thinking and come from that."

That was in the very first comment that I made on your article if you look up

to you MagicBoy and Alrighty than, so freedom of speech that is a God given right!

There was nothing about your article that I did have a problem with, in fact I thought that it was a wonderful piece, what upset me the most was the comment from Humming bird, "The Israelis seem to think that because of what has happened to them over the centuries that they have the right to treat people as they like. They are no better than the Nazis in some of their acts." did Israelies die at the hands of Hitler?" What a horrible thing to say.

That statement is what upset me and took a very peaceful article that you wrote out of love for helping those in need and turned it into a debate on all Jewish people, but the way that you did not address her statement made it seemed like you agreed with her and then with the picture of the person that you choose "Jews against the occupation” that is a religion?

So the oil part is my freedom of speech part. (just my eco-friendly, way of saying do good for the land and also stop the money going to terriost)

Again we are both on the same page as far as the suffering of innocent lives go and sharing your story is what makes hub pages such a great place to hear what real people have to say from around the world, so please keep up the fight and continue to write because you are a great writer.

All the best Dawn!

Hi Dawn, it was good to hear from you again about our understanding on the topic…I do agree that the comments made by Humming Bird disturbed you, but look at it this way…when one claims to have the freedom of speech for ourselves, we have to respect the freedom of speech of others also…I could not pass a contradictory statement on her comments made about Nazis as that is what she thinks of it…not everybody has the same view on the Holocaust it seems…

I have never supported killings of innocent people which take place anywhere around the world, it deeply saddens me…I condemn them all…I choose and posted the picture which states "Jews against the occupation” which was held by Israelis themselves, to show that the forced occupation is completely a ‘political agenda’ which the Israeli population does not support…

It is good that you do your bit to protect the environment as everybody else should…your context of the ‘oil supporting terrorism in Palestine’ was which I wanted to highlight as that is not the case there…

I am glad that we have no dispute amongst us on the ‘land of dispute’ and thank you for your appreciations…I do believe that you write extremely well and hope I could become as good a writer as you are…Take care Dawn…Peace…

It is these crimes against the innocent that leave blood on hands, that will not wash away easily. I have hear stories of horror from both sides, and in my humble opinion Men of Power poison this land, with greed and pride. Until, this part of the world no longer colors the waters red with the blood of the meek, world peace is unattainable. I pray that the victims will be comforted.

Beautifully written Magicboy. A cry for peace.

Why does the world have to be so cruel? I only hope someday peace will find its way to this land. You seem to have such a good heart.

I don't see how anyone could kill innocent people. It makes no sense!
