The Cost Of Failure

Updated on January 17, 2012

This Took Some Digging

Remember When?

Of all the excesses of Obama and this administration this might seem pale in comparison. What it should serve to illustrate is the absolute arrogance of the man and his spouse though. That is not to discount the tax payer dollars that were wasted, nor the time spent away from doing business by this Chicago Shyster-In-Chief. After all, he sees the world as his stage to display his pomposity and big, thick hardheadedness.

This is 2012 and this happened back in 2009 and some of the figures, but just some of the tax dollars wasted, are just now surfacing and it has taken a monumental effort to find out the truth. That shouldn't be possible in the land of the free but then again we have a Chicago thug sitting where he is sitting. The Obama clan is gaining quite a reputation for wasting our tax dollars on their world jaunts as the rest of the nation faces an economic crisis rarely seen. You know the New York City date night. Then Moochelle skies off to Africa for whatever reason nobody has yet to define. So this article details the trip to Copenhagen back in 2009 when Obama and entourage, jetted off to Copenhagen in an effort to bring home the bacon to Chi town with the Olympic prize in hand.

I'm sure some remember that at the time this nation was facing a failing economy, fighting wars on two fronts and the world was transfixed on Iran and its pursuit of a nuclear weapon. Just minor details to Obama. He had his eye on the prize, at our expense again. After all, he didn't have better things to do at the time. He might have missed a round or two of golf but what the hey. I wonder if they have golf courses in Denmark?

So off they went as the Obama's are prone to do while the country is going up in flames. It is said that Queen Moochelle herself made an extraordinarily impassioned plea to bring home the bacon for the home town team. It fell upon deaf ears. The IOC issued a first round knock out. I remember how empty handed they returned with looks of dismay on their faces and those of the Chicago crowds gathered in the streets. What? You mean the force of his personality wasn't enough to sway intelligent people? How dumb can those people be?

Judicial Watch, a worthy organization, launched a probe to find out just what his cost of failure was that time to the American tax payer. This is 2012 mind you and the stonewalling and mine fields were put in place as this administration has as its trademark now. The investigators were tenacious however and they were able to bring home the bacon for us to see. Damn those FOI requests, full speed ahead...

The number is an eye-popping $467,175 but does not include the cost of the in-flight expenses of the aircraft. They used two (2) 747s and several cargo aircraft supplied by the US Air Force. Those figures are not yet available but those babies cost some money for sure.

Itemized items are as follows, at least the known ones:

$235,659 - Rental for seven (7) offices in hotels plus transportation and asociated communications

$33, 044 - Cost of the October 3rd extra day in the hotel. What the hell? Recovery time?

$129, 276 - Travel vouchers for hotel, mileage (?), reimbursable expenses and flight costs for attendees. What means of transportation did they have to use with 2 Boeing 747s in tow? Or did Michelle take her own jet again?

$69,196 - Cost to fly the press over and back.

Who went along for the fun?

Barakie Poo and Moochelle, Secretary Ray LaHood, Secretary Arne Duncan, Valerie Jarrett (she'll never miss a junket) and members of the White House Olympic, Paralympic and Youth Sports. Who in the heck are those people? The visit lasted from September 21 through October 3rd. October 3rd might be the day the crying towels were finally dried out.

Now Jarrett, often described as "the other half of Obama's brain" served as his Olympic Czar (save me I'm about to become ill). This is sickening to report.

This shindig was pushed on us as "good for the country." Is that right? Bringing home the bacon to his Chicago crony thugs who stood to benefit financially has to be good for the country. Right? After all, that's the Chicago way!

Remember in November.

Oh Yeah!
