The Crooked Afghanistan Police (all 125,000 of them)

OMG, yet another reason to get out of Afghanistan, the most crooked and corrupt police force on the planet: the Afghanistan police force. Granted, some are not so, but, according to most US soldiers who deal with them, they play both sides. when they are with you, they are your friend, helping build the local infrastructure, when they are not with you, they are giving the Taliban food, money, their police cars and even selling them the US weapons given to themselves!

Can you imagine what will happen when America leaves?

Not only are Afghan police corrupt, they are high attrition rates and drug problems. In Waziristan, there are literally thousands who want to fight US soldiers who are trying to help them and killing them only creates even more resentment. The local police seem to do their best to simply make matters intolerable by setting roadside checkpoints to extort money from the locals. In one situation, after the Afghan police came under gunfire from a sniper in a bazaar, the police retaliated and burned it down! So much for goodwill towards the population. In a recent police operation against the Taliban, the police force allowed them to pass safely and then ran away from them.

This should be advertised more, but the mainstream media won't since we are not allowed to "offend" them. Why the hell did we have to go there?

Untrue we were/are there to secure our oil and gas transportation, to secure our drug provision.
