The Race Card And Wasserman-Schultz

The Card Of Last Resort Hits The Table

Anymore I'm not sure if the far left is playing the race card as the first, or last, card in the game. Yesterday, in my column "Your Week In Review," I issued an official "Moron Certificate" to Wasserman-Schultz for her complete hypocrisy, on not one occasion but two, about making stupid accusations and she hasn't given me even a day to be let down by her stupidity. So along comes STRIKE 3. I wonder if this woman knows anything about baseball.

Oh! You haven't heard? Well, along comes the DNC Chairwoman making one of the most outrageous claims I think could come out of an imbecile and it went like this. According to Debbie the big meanie "Republicans" want the nation to return to Jim Crow laws. Yes folks and she did it on television. This centers around having photo identification in order to be able to register to vote. That seems rather logical and straight forward to me, but I'm not sure I'm catching the "Jim Crow" angle in the scenario.

Here's the way Loud Mouth Debbie put it, "Now you have the Republicans who want to literally drag us all the way back to Jim Crow laws and literally and very transparently block access to the polls to voters who are more likely to vote Democratic candidates than Republican candidates." I wonder if this genius every considered the actual fact that requiring photo identification might be a means of insuring someone who isn't eligible to vote at all doesn't get to vote for any candidate? Must have slipped her mind, if she really has one to slip away from.

The head of the RNC states that she needs to apologize to Republicans across the nation. I believe she needs to apologize to ALL Americans across the nation. This is furtherance of the class warfare the DNC is intent of waging during this next election. He went on to say, "This is beyond injecting racial overtones for political purposes. This is claiming that Republicans would like to return to de jure racial segregation in this country. This is pathetic and outrageous." Yes Mr. Preibus, it is pathetic and outrageous but then again so is Wasserman-Schultz who heads the Democratic party machine.

Some people aren't familiar with "Jim Crow" laws so let me lay it out for you. Those laws required that blacks had to sit in the back of the bus. They also barred them from eating in public restaurants unless the establishment had a separate room with a separate entrance. They also had to have separate drinking fountains and rest room facilities. None of that was right then and none of it would be right now but I'm having difficulty connecting the dots here about that issue and requiring photo identification to vote.

Last time I went into a federal building I had to have what? Photo identification. So the federal government, using her rationale, needs to be slapped down for wanting to return to Jim Crow laws. The last time I went to a bank to cash a check I had to have photo ID. Stand in line behind the feds you meanie, racist bankers. We could make a list, so maybe in the comments section remind us of the times you have had to produce a photo ID in order to enjoy life. How preposterous are these political hacks going to get?

How many people in this nation don't have a photo ID? Not many because it is usually required to undertake life's day-to-day activities. If you don't have one all you have to do is usually trot yourself down to the local DMV, prove who you are and they'll issue you one. My question is, "If you don't have a photo ID, why not?" Does this woman have fits of rage when Obama wants to establish a federal system of photo identification?

Of course, many of us knew this sort of thing was coming from the now desperate far left. They sure can't defend Obama's record on the economy. They can't wave the pom-poms about his job creation record. He promised that if he spent almost 1 trillion dollars of our tax money that unemployment wouldn't rise above 8%. Instead it sits at 9.1% and during his two years at the helm there has been a net loss of another 2.5 million jobs. The recent rise was just a "bump in the road" according to Obama. Broken promises is what I smell.

Instead of cutting spending, passing a budget which they haven't done in two years, creating new jobs and simply just doing their job in accordance with the Constitution, the Democrats start stupid stunts like producing television commercials showing Grandma being pushed off a cliff and now this? Wasserman-Schultz has gone over the cliff herself with such race bating comments.

The law is intended to prevent people in this great nation who are NOT eligible to vote from exercising that most precious of rights and a basic civic responsibility. You know, like dead people and illegal aliens and the such. Of course, in light of Wasserman-Schultz last week stating that the Republicans were big, bad meanies for wanting to continue to make illegal immigration against the law, and railing at them about that, what can you say about a woman like this? Keep talking?

I'd rather listen to Whining Weiner deny the truth than to listen to such garbage coming out of the Chairwoman of the DNC's mouth. How about you?

I smell desparation in the halls of Congress and The Whine House. They blew it! In retrospect, their race card just may be the card of last resort to be played in their sick game of partisan politics. I sure hope people aren't buying into Wasserman-Schultz's outright lies.

As Always,

The Frog Prince

PS - In my new "Your Week In Review" featured article, you can read about her two other outrageous charges but they don't hold a candle to this one!

Bravo Frog. This is my first taste of all that I have been missing. I went on a news freeze, so this is my toe in the water. Kind of like a half way house until I start writing again on Thursday. Ms. Wasserman Schultz is afraid that if photo I.D. s are made mandatory (seems like a fine Idea) all those dead people won't be able to vote for the Dems. I am fed up with the stupidity. Up and useful and awesome. I have to check out your new Week in Review.

WELL DONE FP!! Your Royal Highness really hit the highest with this one.

DWS is a loud mouthed b***t of the first order. Occasionally I see her on television - she gets the immediate 500 pounder right on her head and Dies Irae moves to the next target!

As Dies Irae can carry more than one 500 pounder, right now the ship is heading to Wienerville to release a few more in the general area of Queens, New York. Queens IS as far away from our hanger as we could get from this smarmy creep and stay in New York State. (Why she stays in New York AT ALL is beyond her crews' understanding.)

At minimum, when our hometown hero, Rep. Chris Lee (R-NY), got caught taking pics of his pecs he resigned immediately. Why doesn't Wienerschmeiner do the same? Slime.

Try going to the Ghost's Hub and taking a look at the comments there. Here's the link:

There must be something in the water up there. Wasserman-Schultz is a New York carpetbagger down in Florida.

Froggie,

are you serious how can you say- innocent little Debbie, pulling the old race card out desparate times desparate measures- they have to win to keep their power i am not surprised-If dead people can vote- why not live illegals, Democrats when real voters just won't LET you win...Typical Not surprising.

Her comments are as racist as they get! Doubtful is she is even a little concerned about the black community--my best bet is that she wants the illegal aliens who are voting to continue to do so.

Pegasis - Good to see you. There is something about "it takes one to know one." That's why I think I see Democrats always contending that we're racists because we don't like Obama. Wasserman-Schultz is white and I don't like her either. It's all about their policies and nothing to do about race.

Now why would a Democrat not want voters to be positively identified?

"Vote early and vote often."

Wow, what Next...Everything is becoming so OUTRAGEOUS with the Democratic Party, and Ms. Wasserman-Schultz is so OVER THE TOP! Good Hub as usual, Froggy!

Will - I understand that it's Obama's goal to have every Democrat registered in at least two precincts.

b. malin - If I were a Democrat, which I'm not, I think I'd be hiding my head in shame and run on down and switch to being an Independent, which I am.

Frog,

I had to supply photo ID the last time I took a plane flight. Can I sue for reverse discrimination?

My question is this: If photo id is required to walk down the street or drive a car, which it is, then why wouldn't you have one when going to vote? It's required just to be out in public that we identify ourselves to law enforcement if asked. Otherwise we can be arrested should the cop decide to be a stickler. So who are all of these people who don't have any id? Guess...

Great and funny hub, Deb is one of my favorites to watch on the news, so insightful and mature at all times. (kindof Wiener-like actually in those respects)

My observation is that the left wants to make it as easy as possible for non eligible folks to vote, such as non-citizens and dead folks in Chicago.

Debbie seems to be on a roll! Why is it that the left always manage to interject racism in just about everything? Almost always it's their last if not only resort, perhaps? Great hub, as usual!

Like I said previously, Debbie makes Pelosi look like a member of Mensa. Of course, Debbie and the socialists do not want voter photo ID. Illegals are the hope of their party. Tree huggers aren't producing any babies. Gays certainly aren't. The abortion lovers are producing, but killing off their offspring. So, what to do? Allow illegals to vote, of course, and make them legal ASAP. There IS a method to the socialist insanity. Debbie personifies it.

Froggie: As a "Christian" I cannot allow myself to become involved or upset witht the stupidity of "Politics" or those who seek to speak either for or against politicians and their parties.

The only politics of any consequence is the "Kingdom of Jesus" which He will bring into being as soon as Father God says it's time.

Frog: As a non-Christian who actually loves the opportunity to tackle the mundane, practical problems in our nation that seem best solved by trusting in God AND tying up my camel, I really appreciate this page. Dude, it's one of your best!

Dave and Ghost - One's faith, or lack of it, isn't a subject I try to tackle because one believes what one believes relating to spiritual matters.

My message is to all people who desire to right the course our nation is on. To ignore politics, and politicians, is asking for trouble. That is what has gotten us into this mess in the first place. When you start believing that they know what is best for you and just be apathetic and think everything is going to be alright, that is misplaced trust.

We are seeing what we are seeing.

Ignoring politics gave us a Democratic majority in the House and Senate. Ignoring politics gave us Barack Obama. Ignoring politics has us well on the way to Socialism. Ignoring politics has us on the precipice of being a debtor nation. There are consequences for actions, just as there are consequences for non-actions.

All,

As a christian i choose to follow policies and politicians that allow the Lord to help those who help themselves a hand up not a hand out-I like politicians that protect the helpless and unborn,I choose policies of politicians who favor business freindly policies. David is right-Appathy gave us Barry Harry and Nancy and that gave us socialism... Thats what i am really against.

David - I chose many years ago to have a military career. In that environment you must become apolitical, not apathetic, but one isn't free to voice their political views. I always made sure I voted and my home state knew where to mail by absentee ballot. In 1992 I retired and have been free since that time to express my views about what I am seeing. I will continue to do so.

People went to the polls this last time totally ignorant of the man they were helping to elect. Obama is a Progressive. He isn't a centrist like he contended that he was. But I have to firmly believe now that the Democratic Party has been totally hijacked by the progressive movement. Wasserman-Shultz is a prime example of what I am talking about. Howard Dean ran the apparatus before she took over.

People need to start really paying attention to the players, not some political party and party line. I'll just leave it at that. But I will add that any self-respecting Democrat needs to wrestle their party away from the Progressives and bar them for life.

I find it insulting what this bimbo said as an American. I'm not a Republican nor a Democrat but this is over the cliff nonsense. Being a racist in the military is NOT tolerated - ever. They'll show you the door very quickly and I had to deal with some of those people from time to time. I get accused of it on these forums and just have to shake my head. I don't like the policies that I am seeing and it has nothing to do with skin color.

Maybe Wasserman-Schultz will turn out to be as good a weapon in this next election as Pelosi was in the last. We're about to see.
