America Takes It on the Chin, again.

How are we going to fix America? Can the national debt crisis be solved? Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen, to the next episode of the American demise.

As of this current second in time, as I type, our collective national debt is…

Can I get a drum roll, please?

Cha Ching!

The interest on America's debt is accumulating so fast I could not copy and paste it, nor could I type it in fast enough to get even the first nine digits before it had changed. Notice, that number has fourteen digits. How many of us can even hope to save six digits? Five? I know honest, hard working American families that currently don't have three digits in their bank accounts.

Today, 9-14-12, OUR national credit was kicked in the teeth, again. Thank you, Sir Spends A Lot, Barack “The Long Legged Mac Daddy” Obama, to borrow a phrase from the good Reverend Manning.

Video for the Right Brained

Chill, Vix. It's just money.

Really? Are you sure? How do you know?

Let’s get some perspective on this number and what money really is. All American paper money is only valuable because its value is supposedly backed by gold valuing the same. That gold is to be closely guarded for the tax payers by our kind and loving governmental leaders, the watchdogs of the people.

The government has my back. Cool!

Really? Check this out.

“The US Gold Reserve is just over 8,000 tons - which is about 6% of the total gold ever mined. It is worth about $100 billion, or 1.5% of the US national debt.”, according to...

I love this kid! I don’t agree with his call to violence or the cry for Ron Paul, nor a few other things, but, all in all, he's getting way more than 50% right. It’s great to see someone so young with some snap. By the way, the only reason I’m not big time gung ho for Ron myself is his views on foreign policy. I would have been more open to them prior to certain Islamic leaders calling for the death of America and the recent murder of four of OUR OWN by Islamic protestors.

Two years old but worth watching. He's on to it.

Peek A Boo!

This is, of course, assuming you believe that the gold is actually there. Have you seen it? Do you know for sure what you saw? I could fill a warehouse with gold painted cardboard boxes and film it claiming it to be all the gold I wanted. If I could do it, and chances are high you could too, don’t you think our leaders with their vast access to the best minds in the country, the best film makers and the unending supply of our money could?

This is actual American dollars, guys and gals.

This is our children’s chance at a free existence.

Hello, America.

10. Everyone has to wake up.

We have to snap to reality. We have to dig ourselves out from under this mountain of crap. Both the Left and the Right allowed this to happen. Do I mean our Left and Right side political party leaders? No. I mean us. We allowed them to rob us blind. There has been talk of removing the Fed since its inception. Yet, both sides party leaders through generations have allowed it to remain, to control and to steal from our tax coffers. We put them in office either through voting them in or not voting at all. At least we did, until recently. There are those involved in our money now that were appointed as czars under this, the Pied Piper President. Is it not ironic that before him doing so the term was associated exclusively with thoughts of communism?

We have zero control over these appointed czars other than prosecution.

How often do you hear of that happening under this administration? Eric Holder was truly named well. He is the guardian of OUR money in a very real way, yet he's holding steadfast for their asses. And our money is gone. Hm. Lets round down to 15 Trillion just for easy math. Five goes into fifteen three times, so five Trillion must be thirty three percent of 15 Trillion just by simple estimation. It was created by one president in less than four years. Think about that. Our current President has driven up our debt by five trillion by himself! He makes Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian’s spending habits look sane. Our freedom is chasing behind that money, right on its tail. Wake up, America. You can’t trust either side.

9. Stop giving away OUR money. PERIOD

Put an immediate stop to all foreign aid, loans, favors, building, all of it! We need to work on rebuilding our own crumbling foundations. The President loves to talk about crumbling roads and bridges. Stop giving our money away and maybe some could actually be fixed. Maybe some of those shovel ready jobs you kept talking about you can give to all the “undocumented workers” you waved on over. Oh, wait… That helps them not us. Think he’s got any other bright ideas?

Oh, yea! My bad.

He needs their votes to finish killing lady liberty. He’s only on top beating her head into the floor, strangling her now. He has his top attack dogs on it hunting down voter ID laws in red states like a leech goes for blood to ensure all those non-citizens get to keep him holding tight to the reigns so he can continue leading us into ruin. His legal pit bulls are sniffing out anyway possible to shut up those who speak out such as church leaders. They are hot on the scent of any way to further limit or impede voting access for OUR military men and women.

I wonder if all those currently flooding into America really believe he will take care of them once they have fulfilled that purpose? How loyal was he to his own party when half of them by voice vote went against the reinsertion of God into their platform after he took it out? Where was his loyalty to them when their voices and votes were run roughshod over on live TV? Where was his loyalty to his hard working supporters when he didn't come through with the promises to see him live in exchange for all of their hard work?

Stop giving 1.5 billion dollars of our money to the Muslim Brotherhood.

You know the one, the self same group associated with such violent protest as the one in Lybia that just resulted in the death of four of our diplomats, the ones whose bodies were drug dead and bruised through the streets over a stupid movie. While you're at it, stop giving them F-16s, weapons and training to slaughter us and our allies with.

Scandalous!

I seem to remember such a public outcry over some of our guys pissing on the corpse of a dead opponent. That was decried as the foulest act of unacceptable disrespect. They were on the tail end of seeing death and destruction all around them daily. They were risking their lives for ours. These guys were pissed off over a stupid flipping movie so they decide to kill diplomats that had nothing at all to do with it just because they were American. Never mind the fact it was done on 9/11. Don’t give a second thought to the notion it was planned before Youtube blew the movie up. Where is the outcry from this administration over the injustice, the attack, the very lives and murders of OUR OWN PEOPLE? What I heard sounded like an apology. I’m sure to be followed up with more of our money.

I have to wonder.

Does that money represent a “guilt payment” and if so for what? What does our leader feel guilty about? That Americans dare question radical Islamist? Maybe it was just because the movie sucked. Or, is it more about further weakening America, “realigning” us in the world rankings as it were? Thank you Dinesh.

Or, is it about weakening us while strengthening them? That is what is happening, period. Is it intentional on the part of the President or not? Does it matter? It equals America being royally screwed either way. If you are American you better start thinking about this. If you are female, you should have been thinking about this! If you have female children…You better start daring to think about it for you cannot afford to be wrong. Their lives depend on it.

The Federal Department of Education was established in 1867 to...

"collect information on schools and teaching." Source: The US Department of Education.

My, my! As with all Federal programs it has grown way beyond its intended purpose.

Elminate the Federal Department of Education – Return control to the states.

We keep hearing the President’s push for improvement in education. You have no idea how much I support that theory. It’s not in the same realm of existence as what is going on in reality. Literally millions of bailout dollars were spent in districts nationwide. We don’t need new schools that look more like malls in the upper side of town to teach children to read, which we are not doing by the way. Throwing money at education will not fix anything much less the debt crisis. Huge percentages more American children were taught good reading comprehension, writing, math skills and analytical reasoning back in the days of paper and pencil note taking off a chalk board in an air conditioner lacking room than goes on for over half of American students nationwide today, hence current drop out and high school illiteracy rates, which are also skewed. They are so very much higher than we are led to believe.

If you don’t believe me, go look around any large or small town USA any weekday you chose during school hours. Tell me you can’t see several school age children each time milling about. Guess what? Their numbers are like those of roaches. You see two. You have two hundred. The rest are all piled up at someone’s house… Studying? Right. I know. I was one of them and that was over 20 years ago. It wasn’t so uncommon then. It’s the norm now.

I have multiple college degrees. My plumber made more last year than I did.

“Who are you to say that every child in America goes to college."

“I have seven kids. Maybe they’ll all go to college. But if one of my kids wants to go and be an auto mechanic, good for him! That’s a good-paying job.”

Rick Santorum

Children are NOT their label.

Stop trying to shove every child in the country into a box of college bound or destined to entry level repetitive task type employment due to special education labeling. It wastes our very real human resources. We need trades men and women too and we need those who do not wish to follow traditional academia. Vocational training programs are dwindling and the ones that exist are considered, though they will never say it, as dumping grounds for special needs students. Many a very intelligent young man and lady want a more vocationally oriented job. Many do not want to go straight to college but rather have real life bills they want to work towards paying now.

For that matter, get rid of or totally revamp IDEA. It allows for the free and appropriate education of all children, FAPE, regardless of them being citizens or not, criminals or not, violent serial rapists or not. You get the idea.

I believe in educating our children be they regular education labeled or special.

I do not believe in endangering the lives, safety, education and character building of all of them because a pool of them that is growing daily is truly violent but covered under the mandatory disciplinary procedures components of IDEA and it’s compensatory requirements. It costs billions and no one is counting the cost it’s extracting from the children.

I’m surprised some people in other countries have not sued and won under FAPE laws because we did not send a teacher there.

Just afterthoughts here...

Let us think about a few tragic scenarios IDEA and its FAPE and disciplinary requirement mandate. How about, God help them, a severely and profoundly retarded child that is HIV positive, has a sad maladaptive behavior of self injurious biting drawing blood daily, and bites others doing the same? How about the very real cost in children’s lives as those bitten become infected? Chances are high no one will know until it’s too late.

You see, by law, even the teacher doesn’t know which have it and which don’t. If the incident is even reported to the parent, it will be in such a way, by the nurse, as to stress that it happens all the time and there is nothing to worry about. The bite mark and any broken skin will be long cleaned and bandaged by the time little the student gets home. The fact that the biter's mouth was filled with their own infected blood when they did it never really gets brought up in the conversation... or documentation. Kids will be kids after all and sometimes they squabble. There is no legal requirement the nurse even know of the existence of such a condition that I am aware of. Often times she does because the parent chose to disclose as the child will need medical care and/or prescribed medication at school, but they don't have to. The nurse is required by law to protect the confidentiality of all students. She's really not in a good spot and I'm not knocking her in any of her locations anywhere. Facts are sadly just facts.

Think that was a nightmare?

How about the very real scenario playing out daily across Texas, Arizona, California and other states of 30 year old serial rapist, drug dealers being registered students in public schools, on the federally mandated Free Lunch Program no less, because their phony documents state they are 20? They often look, speak, dress and act younger than that. BUT, THEY ARE NOT. Is that really who you want sitting by your 14 year old daughter in Health when they cover the mandatory required curriculum concerning human reproduction?

The Schools? Or, The Cartel?

SHARS

Eliminate SHARS billing by districts for things all teachers are required by their jobs to do anyway. Keep it for the related services, but not for teacher billing. SHARS is a federal program by where schools can bill under Medicaid. It never affects the benefits of the child outside of the school setting in any way. It's needed for schools in that it allows them to bill for things like one on one nursing services, speech therapy and a variety of other really needed services for some of their more medically fragile special needs students. As for the nursing care, I'm talking such serious situations as tube feeding, catheters and the like.

The problem, as I see it, is schools also bill for things such as "prompting/cuing". An example of that would be the teacher telling little Suzie student to stop talking and get back to work. All teachers have to do this with all students! It is the height of insanity and fiscal irresponsibility to think that just because a student carries a special needs label, perhaps he/she has a club foot for instance and has mobility problems, now should be billable to the government every time his/her teacher has to direct them to get back on task.

Districts across the nation made more money off SHARS billing than any other source of funding last year. Several mid sized Texas districts that I know of made over two million dollars each off SHARS billing. Multiply that by every mid sized district across the nation and you are talking billions of dollars per year. It sounds kind of good if you're thinking that money goes to help disadvantaged special needs students. It does NOT. It goes into the general, i.e. regular education fund. Of course, none of this could have any bearing whatsoever $6 on the proven and documented fact that districts are over identifying special needs students nation wide.

Toss off abusers from social safety net entitlement rolls.

One would think common sense would necessitate this term not need be defined. Things being as they are, it does not. It, common sense, no longer gets any real play in the media either.

Abusers ARE NOT:

Abusers are those who are NOT elderly having worked and paid into the system and/or been a dependent spouse of another who did and/or be they NOT the seriously disabled to the point of not being able to be gainfully employed at the risk to life or health.

Abusers ARE:

Abusers ARE those who are unemployed by choice because accepting a low paying job is harder than collecting a close to equivalent check or combination of other such services totaling the same or more. Abusers are those parents who keep their children purposefully unemployed, so they can keep collecting government checks in their names. Never mind the children want to grow up and be independent. In many, though sadly, not all, cases they could, if Mommy would loosen her grip on their benefits and stop forever squashing attempts at getting their own lives free of her. They are those who suck up every conceivable dime possible and then buy alcohol and drugs with their food stamps and use the government paid for housing to sell drugs out of. They are those who collect checks for years in the names of dead people.

Look outside.

Look at the lines at the registers. Look at the obvious signs of spending we all drive, wear, talk on, surround ourselves with and you will see the numbers for abusers and non-abusers are running at a dead heat. It’s fifty fifty folks.

To be totally fair, there is another much smaller group of what some arguably call abusers that is much harder to identify. It's a group of people who really did work hard and pay into the system all of their lives too. People who now are very well set in retirement without the aid of the money they are legally and morally due in Social Security retirement benefits. Considering the shape things are in, sadly, and while I can't say I agree with the label or the concept, this group will have to give up such entitlements though they did earn them. That is a truly sad but factual indicator of the state of our economic and societal straights.

Make extra payments! Duh.

All monies saved should be applied directly and immediately towards the principle balance of the American debt.

The examples listed above of monumental wastes of OUR tax dollars are but a few.

How many more examples of such waste can you think of? Ten seconds now. On your mark. Get set. Go!

8. Decriminalize and legalize drugs in America.

Give control of this to the states. Not only would it allow for regulation which could filter out so much more of the truly crazy stuff that turns human beings into virtual zombies who feed on others in broad daylight, such as bath salts and other synthetic designer drugs, but it would also virtually hamstring the underground black market and associated crime overnight. It would cripple the Mexican drug cartel and others. It would create jobs in every sector from agriculture to transportation to advertising to sales and everything in between. It would allow our prisons to release nonviolent drug offenders and house the truly violent being turned out by a revolving door system daily. It would allow for the production and distribution of a wide range of products that could then legally be made and sold in ways that are much less damaging to the environment.

Water is much more valuable than gold.

I do not own this video. It is a recorded excerpt. It was uploaded to Youtube.com by 1stFuturist.

A synthetic form of gasoline can be made from the Cannabis plant.

It is non-polluting. You would think our leaders would be all over this considering how they pumped the idea of corn based fuels. Interesting is it not that corn is one of the most water intensive crops on the planet? The planet is losing drinkable, potable water daily. It’s rapidly becoming more valuable than gold. Yet, we can subsidize the corn crops to make the gas but not the Cannabis crops which require virtually no water by comparison. They can also be harvested faster using less land per harvest and grow well in a much broader range of temperatures.

Why wouldn't our leaders want such a great product for sales, job growth and export, especially considering the gas? It couldn't have anything to do with the fact that Solyndra wants more money. It couldn't have anything to do with the major oil companies not wanting the competition. It couldn't have anything to do with the very real and historically documented fact that paper companies have not wanted the competition since hundreds of years ago. Do you really think pharmaceutical companies do? Oh yea! That's why Obamacare, insurance companies, health care in general and the like all recognize the very real cost effective alternative therapies such as Acupuncture, herbal therapies, and many others we tend to never even hear about in Western medicine except when used as an example of something that must be obviously beneath us though they work pretty darn well and are cheap.

You name it. You can make it with this stuff.

Textiles, cloth, a form of plastic, food, oil, tea, medicine, soap, paper, rope, cat toys and many, many other products can be made from it much more cost effectively than the traditional forms of resource management for such things as trees, corn, and other commodities currently allow.

It would create jobs and businesses on the front end which would create tax dollars. It would create further sales tax dollars on the back end. It would save millions of dollars currently being wasted on the war on drugs that we have never stood a chance of winning. It would save over fifty thousand per year on every non violent offender that was released and/or never incarcerated for hurting themselves.

Note:

I think all people should be held accountable for their actions. If someone decides to use drugs, that is their choice. They are still accountable for every single thing they do under the influence of said drugs because they are the ones that chose to use it in the first place. I’m all for freedom. It comes with responsibility.

Duh! I must have forgotten who I was talking about for a moment.

Obviously, the tax revenues on the front end should go towards the principle balance of the national debt. One would think that goes without saying. Sadly, with our government, nothing goes without saying.

Obama Grants Executive Privilege for Fast and Furious.

I do not own this video. It was created by GuerrillaPolitics and uploaded to Youtube.com by GuerrillaPolitics.

Finally, it could be argued that legalization and subsequent regulation could reduce children using it through the very nature of being a child. Children, especially teenagers, are largely attracted to such drugs such as Cannabis due to the fact that it is illegal. Many are still going to do it just like they drink alcohol now. But there are just as many for whom the thrill of use will be greatly diminished.

To be totally honest, it would negligent of me not to point out the very real fact that passing this legislation would cost some hard working, loyal Americans jobs. It would eliminate the need for many a law enforcement agent around the country. Oh! I know. Maybe we could send them to actually protect the borders. I have no doubt they would do a fine job as long as OUR government didn't give the invaders more weapons... Think Fast and Furious. Which of course brings you back to that well named man; Eric Holder. He's still holding fast to the evidence that proves his liability in the death of OUR guys who were protecting US. His master continues to cover his ass through executive order.

7. Return to production.

America does not make anything anymore as compared to what we produced and sold in the past. Further, look at all the items we import from all over the world. When was the last time you turned over a piece of cheap anything at the local Wal-Mart and saw any label other than made in China? Try it for 20 times in a row randomly as you walk up and down the aisles. Chart the results as you go. Compare the numbers. We have to make at least as much as we import. I’m talking private sector competition here not government allocations, sales, contracts, loans, dispersals or whatever other disguising language they wish to cloak their deceptive numbers in this week.

We have to stop allowing OUR government to use OUR money to takeover OUR economic freedom.

Our government has to stop investing our money in itself, in businesses it knows will fail simply because they then donate massive contributions to campaigns, in jobs programs that cost more per job created than the annual income said job pays, in private manufacturing and businesses such as General Motors, healthcare nation wide, Bank of America, Solyndra... The list goes on and on and on. That is called owning the capitol of production.

It’s a basic component of Marxism.

It’s pretty much the opposite of capitalism. It’s never worked well in any form in any way in the history of humanity. What brain dead fool could honestly believe it would now once they truly understand it? It can’t for it does not do what naïve youngsters and idealistic Leftists nationwide believe. It does not give power to the workers, the proletariat. It gives total control to the federal government. It is the opposite of freedom. Over the past years we can see an observable and measurable correlation between growing federal control over all aspects of our lives and the rise of the national debt. Our free market economy requires freedom to function.

6. The borders must be closed and guarded.

America was born through immigration. Unless you are pure blood Asian or Native American, which would make you a descendant of the former group, that can trace your ancestors back for about five thousand plus years on American soil, you came from immigrants too. It’s a truly wonderful concept born of the belief that all men are created equal and the Christian principle of helping all to better help their selves. Without the combination of those two American ideals none of us would be here. They have never existed in harmony nor been equally applied but they became better and better over time and allowed for OUR nation to become a world power the likes of which was never seen in the history of humanity. It’s now all being pissed down the toilet while we watch.

There are no words for their loss.

Let’s check it out.

The very real issue of employment and job competition aside, illegal aliens are draining American systems such as health care, education, Food stamps, WIC, Welfare, Housing assistance, Free lunch programs, Lower cost sliding scale day care services, free cell phones, access to all documents in a native language and translators paid for by American citizens, and more than I am going to waste time listing like a randy vampire drains a comely, busty blonde.

While inferential statistics lie all day long, descriptive statistics do not. This was compiled by Jim Galloway using Census data. Do you really think ALL the illegals were included? How about the ones they didn't know where here, like hm, maybe those who are illegal... See how it's a crazy circular cycle! Illegal does not imply the notion of someone who would be quick to raise a red flag yelling, "Hey! I'm here!." How about the homeless ones? There is no way that big a number of non-citizens can do anything but drain social safety nets, education and many, many other services.

Oh, duh!

What about their very real contributions to crime? What about all the money it costs to catch, convict, house, prosecute, to feed and medicate during this lengthy process so on and so forth into bankruptcy? What about the real and documented fact, from their own mouths, that many of them are here to “take back” what they feel was taken from them? Never mind their leaders, at that time in history, made those decisions. Never mind that land belonged to America long before their grandmothers were born. Never mind that their own countries are becoming nothing more than cesspools run by drug lords sending out their troops daily to slaughter and behead in the streets any that oppose them. No worries! Let’s all run to America and continue the same behaviors that led to the conditions there so it can happen in America too! Yep. That’s a plan.

Legal immigration was cool until the Pied Piper Potus pissed on the concept of it.

It’s the very idea of freedom. The current so called legal invasion of legions so the President can hope for more votes is a stab in the heart of Lady Liberty, a slap in the face to every legal immigrant that ever worked hard to build America and all of their descendents and a very real weapon being used to destroy our economy, the last vestiges of our unity and the very fabric of our traditional American value system of respect for the law of the land, the sovereignty of OUR nation, equality for all and America being the UNITED states.

5. Level the field.

The Pied Piper President loves to talk about leveling the playing field. OK. Put your money where your mouth is and actually do it. I’m talking the support of our entire economy, the backbone of America here, small business. The taxation policies and Affordable Health Care Act, commonly referred to as Obamacare, of this administration, is killing them off like a Welfare queen driving her new Lexus to buy beer with food stamps, grab some birth control now that it’s free, while leaving her five kids locked in the car in the heat sucks up another government check.

Small businesses create jobs.

That generates income tax for the government while allowing workers to make a living. They then, therefore, have more money to pump into the economy and need less or, God forbid, no assistance from the federal coffers, i.e. OUR money. That money they pump into the local groceries, and other stores then generates sales tax dollars. You see its really a wondrous cycle of production and economic freedom and growth when the federal government doesn't have it's foot on the neck of the small businesses that generated the vast majority of it all before the legislation became so in favor of the already fat mega corporations.

Stop passing legislation that favors huge corporations.

I contend they could be argued as monopolies themselves as they are driving out smaller competitors daily at an exponentially growing rate. Stop allowing the FDA to drive small farmers and ranchers out of business by passing laws obviously favoring such humane large global competitors such as Monsanto and DuPont. Why would our leaders do something like that? Look at the campaign contributions and so forth. Lets not forget either the very real cost Monsanto is costing America in good will from other countries around the world. Especially those who it has tried to force its genetically engineered seeds upon. Don't you think right about now we need all the good will we can get?

On a more local level...

Let us take a real close gander at Wal-Mart. They love to build right on the edge of tax lines where the cities and counties have to pay for things like road expansions to accommodate the increases in traffic generated, increased police traffic control, increased police needs for crime responses at their stores and parking lots. Yet they get to pay lowered taxes because of their strategically located Super stores that we, the American taxpayer, are funding the support services for so they can continue to drive out Mom and Pop small business while raising prices on us shoppers who now have increasingly fewer choices as to where to spend our dollars within our own communities. Is it starting to sound at all like a monopoly though perhaps, admittedly, skirting the on the edges of the legal definition? Could not the literally millions of dollars per city not be put to better use within said city so they would not be needing federal dollars? It's just a thought.

4. Buy American made.

Vacation in America. Put your dollars, your skills, your time, your knowledge and your voice to work where you live. Keep every American dollar we, the average Joe citizens, can within our own borders.

While we are at it, let us be diligent to keep it out of the hands of mega corporations. Let us further exercise extreme prejudice in who we do or do not give our dollars. For example: Personally, I will support and continuously eat at Chick Fillet not because of the gay issue but because of the free speech issue. I will NEVER again in my life eat or purchase or even see purchased without speaking out a piece, a morsel, a speck of KFC. Haven’t heard? They will now be slaughtering their chickens in a manner in accordance with Sharia law out of fear of offending Muslims since the name of their God or some such was not said over the chicken before it was murdered by hand. They have a problem with us rendering it unconscious before killing it by machine too. Nor will I ever purchase, see the purchase of without speaking out, nor fail to speak after said purchase if seeing in use Roundup made by Monsanto. It’s their cash cow as I understand it. I will in future buy no vehicle that is not a Ford. They did not take bail out dollars.

Support American, not global

Don’t misunderstand me, please. We need strong American businesses. We don’t need super strong mega powerful global corporations. In fact, they don’t like us much either, other than as economic slave labor. If you don’t believe me, check out how Wal-Mart treats workers in China and India. Check out how Monsanto treats others in other poor nations. We need to start letting companies that ship American jobs overseas know just what we think about that through buying from American companies that keep OUR jobs at home.

Spend less; help America more

Buy second hand, used, flea market, garage sale, hand crafted, and so on. Learn to make more things for yourself. Stay out of Wal-Mart and when in the grocery buy those products grown and made in America. Grow some of your own food and share with neighbors. Encourage neighborhood shared plots and co-op exchanges. Ladies have been doing it for years with coupons and rations during wartimes long before that in small kitchen gatherings over coffee, tea, and gossip for generations upon generations going back to the Revolutionary war. Do you really think those people could have made it then if they had not helped each other? Those same frugal behaviors and social adaptations that brought us through hard times before can again. Learn to barter among friends. Expand your circle of friends, remembering basic common sense and cautious judgment.

Run as far from the Government's tete as you can get!

The more independent we are the less control the government has over us and the less money that is spent on supporting/enslaving us. Do everything you can to help yourself and everyone you know and trust to become more self sufficient in any and every way possible. Don’t try to tackle the world. Start small and continue to add to your strategies and adaptations. Painless examples of this that are easy to start with right now are throwing up a clothes line and using it, plant some fruit trees if you have the land and learn to can, store, and dehydrate, learn basic first aid and herbology, learn basic animal husbandry for chickens and goats, put in a small self sustaining pond if you are able and stock it. Learn what local plant life is edible and its nutritional value aside from the obvious tiny selection of nature’s abundance we are accustomed to because we now eat through grocery stores not family gardens. Consider learning carpentry skills, smelting, sewing, weaving, tanning, quilting, leather crafting, hunting, trapping, just about any skill you would think of our ancestors as having known back in the days of rough and ready. It’s in our blood. We just have to remember it.

3. Abolish the Federal Reserve.

Or, at the very least, strip their powers and make them accountable for a full up close in person yearly accounting of every cent. Lose the ridiculous idea and language allowing them to be "outside the scope". It's our money and I want it scoped ten ways to Sunday. We have to do it. It’s called filing taxes. Any individual whose contribution to the whole is but a drop in the bucket can be audited at any time. Why on earth should we think any entity with so much power over ALL OF OUR money, the entire bucket, should not be thoroughly and completely investigated annually? Hello, 16 Trillion missing dollars! That’s the debt and oh, yea. We are in crisis.

Can you say broke, busted, bankrupt? NO MORE

We are, as a nation, over 16 Trillion dollars in debt. The Federal Reserve, who is in control of our money via the authority granted them by our duly elected congress, has managed to “lose” 16 Trillion dollars of our gold that ensures the currency we all get for our labor. Hm. OK. This is pretty simple addition really. 16 Trillion plus 16 Trillion equals 32 Trillion. OK. The American public has been screwed for 32 Trillion dollars by those we allow to have power over us. Yes, for you Constitutionalists out there that’s where the phrase originates…”a government for and by the people.” (Or, something close to that. Give a girl a break here, on a rant.)

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Left and the Right, we have been screwed.

There has never in the recorded history of humanity been a greater instance of theft than the one just reveled through the partial audit of the United States Federal Reserve.

As she, the voice in the video, points out so well, when you consider the very real fact that the Left and the Right have members in OUR government who want them gone, how can we not know it's way too powerful? At what other point in recorded history can you think of where these guys agreed? If they are scared, being much better off and more powerful than we will ever be, don't you think we should start to be scared as well?

Video for the Right brained. You need to WATCH it.

In case you missed it the first time around...

That video states, better than I ever could, exactly how we have been bankrupted. You think a 16 Trillion dollar hole is bad? Try a 32 Trillion dollar hole. No wonder we owe China. It's where our hole is going to wind up! It's just that deep.

Cease and Desist! STOP! FREEZE EVEN!

2. End all assaults on the Constitution.

Restore its full powers. Remove any and block all legislation that takes from the power of its checks and balances, its guarding of our freedoms, its time tested wisdom. Messing with it, thinking it needs to be twisted in such a way that benefits the needs of the one or the few over the needs of the many is what allowed for such costly things as the Affordable Health Care Act, The Federal Reserve, the loss of much in the way of personal liberty under TSA practices and policies, virtual Police State considering the loss of liberties under The Patriot Act and NDAA, don't let me get started on the FCC or the truly absurd notion that access to cheap, insurance covered by law birth control is a right, and the list just goes on and on and on. Every time the US Constitution loses a micron of its power, we lose our freedom and our money! The loss of money may very well destroy our nation. The loss of liberty MOST ASSUREDLY WILL.

And that, guys and gals, brings us to our number one, most important, most immediate way to move forward in our fixing of the American debt crisis, that loadstone that will crush us all…

Can I get a drum roll, please…

1. Kick Their Collective Asses to the Curb!

Say goodbye and put a very short leash on the Pied Piper President, Barry Sotoro by his parents, Barack “The Long Legged Mac Daddy” Hussein (not made public knowledge until after he was elected…wonder why?) Obama, and all of his cronies, buddies, political allies, major contributors, advisors, czars, the entire gang. The very ones currently perpetrating the assaults on said Constitution of OUR nation listed in number two. Then, clean out the lying media.

ROCK THE VOTE 2012. Then, we need to really get busy watch dogging the new guy. We need to support President Romney and at the same time ride him like no one’s business. Ride him to restore OUR constitutionally guaranteed liberty. Ride him to restore our unity as a nation, our national standing, and our national credit. Ride President Romney and ourselves until we have restored our national drive to excellence, our national pride, our traditional values of hard work, personal accountability and the American work ethic of the past, Apple flipping pie, baseball and the AMERICAN WAY, not to mention our future as a FREE people and the FREE future of our children. Amen.

Well my dear, you have done it this time! Just when I think you can't possibly outdo yourself, you do just that. Powerful message about greed and corruption that is so vast in nature as to seem impossible to defeat....and yet.....we are given the right of revolution in this country....and what you are talking about is an economic revolution that must happen or we will not survive.

I'm not sure what it's going to take for the American public to wake up and smell the dead corpse of our once industrial giant. Cover us with dirt unless....unless....we take back this country.

Thanks for the link, and thank you for a very, very important message.

It's go big or go home and you definitely went big here, girl. Our government throws a third of budget out the window ($1 trillion) through fraud and abuse yet our politicians keep us focused on whether to raise taxes and or cut entitlements as a means of balancing the budget. It's the old sleight of hand game, and they're gaining power and building wealth while bankrupting America. How much is just one of these trillions of dollar piles of money they talk about like it's nothing? If you stacked one hundred dollar bills on top of one another, that stack would be over 900 miles high by the time you reached a trillion, and that stack would weigh 2.2 thousand metric tons. Now if 16 trillion dollars of debt with an interest payment of $5 billion dollars a day doesn't scare the shit out of people ... wait. I forgot, it's only money. :/ Good job R.. You really got me going here. Sawy. Here's a link I'm using on an up coming blog showing what a trillion bucks looks like.. http://usdebt.kleptocracy.us/

Billybuc ~ Yes, Sir. I did go on a rant, didn't I? I have to admit, I deleted out many a statement! Revolution is not a word I had thought of, rather, more of a devolution. A return, a rewind to the Constitution, to the idea of America being about freedom and a chance for all, not the current climate of division for all and unity only if you have enough bucks to buy political influence. See? I did it again. I can't seem to be PC anymore.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think America is going to wake up very soon when the entire thing collapses, no one has a job and the Great depression looks like a fun place to have been.

God bless and thank you so much for reading and leaving an as always insightful and most welcome comment.

TheManWithNoPants ~ It's good to see you! Thank you for reading something so long.

Isn't it insane? I can't even imagine that kind of money and the idea of it reaching so high is just mind boggling. Yet, it makes me wonder. If we can accumulate debt that high for nothing, why can't we feed all the starving children in America? Why can't we protect our borders? Why can't we teach our kids to read? Why can't we develop, not just talk about, other forms of energy that are viable and cost effective for the consumer? The answer to all of these questions always brings me back to the same place. Corruption and greed have run rampant throughout our government and all of the systems that surround us which it has it's dirty massive hands in.

God bless you, my friend. Keep up the fight and long may your voice be heard!

Excellent article! Those are all great ideas. Wouldn't it be an achievement if we could ever get both houses of Congress to agree on all of that! By the way---you made mention of our gold reserves in relation to our printed money. I saw a History Channel documentary years ago about Fort Knox (where they keep all that gold) according to the History Channel and that documentary, our paper money is not based on gold, it has value because the government says it has value (which sounds crazy, but apparently it is true). Great hub! You obviously spent a lot of time writing this!

The Department of Education is a demonstrable failure. Test score today are worse than they were in the late 70's when the Department was formed. IF that's not failure, I do not understand the definition of the word.

But don't stop there. OSHA has difficulty pointing to any real accomplishments other than to raise the costs of doing business. The Department of Labor is next to worthless - I have direct personal experience on how toothless it is and someday will Hub on it. There are more employees in the Department of Agriculture than there are farmers - what's with that? And that's only the tip of the iceberg.

Would that we could go back to the days of Abraham Lincoln's first term when Congress had a conniption fit because Lincoln felt the need, because of the war effort, to double the White House staff to two people.

William Young ~ Thank you for taking the time to read and comment. Yes, it surely would be an achievement. I don't think they can agree over tastes great or less filling. The part about the documentary and the gold I find fascinating. I'm going to have to do some hunting to find it. Isn't it just crazy though? If that's true, and it makes sense being how the government has the right to print paper money in the first place instead of everyone using metal itself, then we are in major debt and slave our whole lives away for what is really nothing more than a fantasy on little bits of paper, kind of a like a fortune with exchange value... that's plummeting daily. That makes us a nation full of people economically enslaved by a fantasy. Talk about something that sounds like it came straight out of Grimm's Fairy Tails. It must be correct! It's typical bureaucrat crazy. God bless and happy hubbing.

This is a wonderful hub and I agree with every one of your 10 points, but I do think the problem is now so massive and so entrenched within the system that even with the right policies $16 trillion is too much debt to ever repay with government surpluses. Keynesian economic theory assumes that politicians will do the right thing during the good times and pay down debt, but this assumption like much of the rest of Keynesian theory has turned out to be complete B/S.

I fear the only way $16trillion is ever going to be repaid is through default which will likely lead to war, severe inflation (possibly hyperinflation), or some kind of debt forgiveness which would require worldwide agreement and probably not solve the underlying structural problems.

I really do hope that people wake up and see what's coming if we continue down this path of spending like drunken sailors. This hub is a great and timely wake up call.

OMG did you kick butt today! I didn't disagree with a thing you said...and, in a way, I wish I could have. Up here in North Dakota, right now we are awash in a pool of the black gold. We think suddenly we are rich and that new money is going to just keep flowing. We are even organizing "committees" to decide how to spend the money. And in the meantime we have a local media who only "read" the news to us. They seem almost mindless to think for themselves and offer an opinion. At least one female reporter gives a good report, at least she offers a tone to her voice, or something...which makes me give her a better ear. I don't know what it is--and she's not a "hottie" so it's not that.

Anyway, Poetvix, great hub. I wish the whole population of ND could read it.

Thank you!

Theeyeballkid ~ Thank you so much for taking the time to read and leave such a stellar comment. It's a darn scary number. I hate to admit it, but I don't see anyway to avoid the hyperinflation. It's coming. I hope you are wrong about the wars, but I doubt it. The saddest part, for me, is that it is our children who will bleed the most for our generation and that of our parents, for our bad judgement and allowing our leaders to become so corrupt.

One thing I did not include here, and should have, is that we, as a nation, have some of the best real estate in the world that we use for various military purposes. I'm all for supporting the military. Some of that land would be great for commercial development and could go for billions nation wide. We have tons of other less valuable properties we can gladly give to the military for use. I really believe we could pay this. But, our leaders would have to sign off on the checks. From what I can tell, they have no intentions of doing that. I hope I'm wrong. God bless you! Thanks bunches and most happy hubbing!

SubRon7 ~ James, Thank you so very much. You're support means so much. I love the good folks of ND have something to put their hope in. As for that committee and their spending decisions, here's a novel concept... They could put it in savings! LOL. I know. Probably won't happen.

They could also invest in the future by fortifying their town with such things as an emergency, underground shelter, non-perishable provisions, water, medial supplies and so forth. I know that sounds rather alarmist. I wish I could say I thought it was. I don't. I think we are so accustomed to believing everything will be OK that when it all falls, and that could be today, we will not be prepared and it will be past too late to do so.

God bless you, my friend. May all of your hubbing be happy and may we all enjoy reading it for many, many years to come. God bless!

KT Banks ~ Thank you for dropping by and taking the time to read something so involved. I know hubs are to be shorter, but I can't ever seem to pull that off.

I'm right there with you on the thinking both sides of this race come with problems. For me, it comes down to the ridiculous for lack of any other viable alternative. Obama is toast because he's too power hungry. There is no stopping someone motivated by an all consuming lust for power and control. The Right has been historically known as being greedy and for the most part, I have to admit, it's true and their greedy nature led to so much of this. Here's where it gets worse, the Left, those in power not the common man, have also become super rich and are now just as greedy. The Right is predictable and I argue, will be much easier to control coming off the nightmare that was this presidency and all of us starting to snap and get more involved. They will work on the economy because it is in their greedy best self interest to do so. The current President will not because the economy being in the toilet furthers his power. He gains more daily and will soon, if not stopped, be the power player that gets America, the last major stumbling block, in line in the NWO. When that happens, freedom is lost. America is lost. I don't trust either side as far as I can throw them. I'm going with the ones whose bank accounts are riding more on America remaining free, the ones who are at least paying lip service to the idea of Constitutional law and the ones who aren't the first in line to apologize for our existence. It's such a sad day when one has to think along those lines. I really think we can no longer afford the luxury of being anything other than wary and suspicious of all political dealings.

God bless and the most happiest of hubbing for you!

You were right. We need common sense injected straight into the heart of DC. I don't think they would listen to me. You forgot the most important thing we should do: work together to fix this problem. That's a pretty hard thing to do when you don't just disagree with the other side, you disrespect them. Your contempt is palpable and unproductive. If you really care, urge congress and our state legislature to compromise.

poetvix profile image

poetvix 4 years ago from Gone from Texas but still in the south. Surrounded by God's country. Author

Jim - I have written many a hub on the divisionism caused by PC ideology and working together. You're right. My contempt is palatable. I have nothing but contempt for the corruption and the infection of apathy and complacency that has run rampant throughout all of our systems.

Compromise sounds good and to a point it is. Going way past the point of reasonable compromise is what got us into much of this mess. Some things are wrong. Period. The idea of tolerance has been so twisted by our PC driven socialization systems that many have forgotten the simple fact that wrong is not to be tolerated. When we compromise with wrong it infects everything it touches as evidenced by the situation we are currently in.

You say I disrespected the other side. You're right. Respect is earned. The leaders of the other side disrespect America daily. I will no longer go along with the concept perpetuated by the media that questioning or criticizing those currently in power is wrong, that it must be done in such a pussyfooting around way as to be luke-warm and therefore impotent. While God knows I do not agree with you, I do thank you for your time and participation. God bless and happy hubbing.

No they don't disrespect America. They disagree with your side's policies, which is not just their right, for public officials, at times it is their duty. Just as it is your right to disagree with the other side. I agree our systems are broken, the National Debt is a symptom of our dysfunctional governments and to a greater extent, our society--not the biggest problem we face. Even if we were to fix it, we'll still be screwed.

Jim - Just because you say they don't does not make it a true or factual statement. Giving 1.2b to the Muslim Brotherhood is disrespectful. Not saluting the flag in photo after photo after photo is disrespectful. Refusing to cooperate with Congress is disrespectful. Printing money that is squandered is disrespectful. Slashing benefits to our military is disrespectful. The Affordable Health Care Act being shoved down America's throats after being slammed through behind closed doors right on the tail of the President whose pet project it was had just promised the nation the most transparent administration ever is disrespectful, legions of "undocumented workers" being encouraged to flood the nation in an attempt to garner more support not to mention votes is disrespectful. The list goes on for miles and you know it.

It is every bodies right to disagree, still, miraculously and no thanks to the assaults on the powers of the Constitution still going on under this administration. We do have to all work together. I agree with you there. But, that can never happen until we all stand up and start calling reality for what it is. God bless.

Vix, I live in Texas, not Hyperbole. I absolutely believe we need to live in a more objective reality. To whit:

Yes, we have an obligation under the Israeli-Egyptian peace treaty to the nation of Egypt (since 1979) and yes, we will pay that debt, provided the Egyptians are in compliance, as is our duty. We aren't giving money directly to the Muslim Brotherhood. According to Article 6, US Constitution, "all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land." The President's cooperated with Congress even when it was disadvantageous to do so (which is why the ACA is such a mess--which did not get slammed through behind closed doors, but live on national TV--remember?) Regardless, he can only sign what they give him. Reagan ran up more debt than all the presidents before him combined, the GW Bush did the same (including Reagan's and his Father's debt). Illegal immigration is down under Obama and enforcement is up.

Obama has vetoed 2 bills since in office (he's tied with George Washington currently). That's a fair amount of cooperation, so I don't see his office as being too obstructionist. The Republicans in the Senate killed a veterans job bill YESTERDAY while Tom Coburn cried about his personal "honor," "valor" and "sacrifice" forcing him to vote against it. That level of cognitive dissonance is disrespectful to me and every other veteran alive or dead.

'We aren't giving money directly to the Muslim Brotherhood.' Really? Then who the hell are we giving it to since the Muslim Brotherhood is now running the country of Egypt? No more foreign aid to any of those nuts. I've never read more shortsighted crap in my life. You ever heard of an Obamacrite Bryan? If not them zoom over and read my Hub about them. Somehow I described you to a "T" without ever reading a word you said until now.

Now I suggest you let the rest of us have an adult conversation about actually "changing" this nation.

Jim - I see. So since the treaty was established long ago it is our duty to never change or modify it to go with the current times? It is our duty to not salute the flag? It is our duty to not pay our debt? To create more jobs in the government sector than the private? To spread only bits and pieces of misinformation to paint a rainbow kumbaya picture? To flood the nation with useless bits of paper that devalue the dollar daily? You failed to address any of those points.

Care to address any other points than we should pay them because they now control a land we made a treaty with when they were not in control?

He had control for years and directed what they gave him. They still didn't manage to pull off a budget. Everyone knows who wrote Obamacare and the vast majority admitted to voting before reading. In fact, I seem to remember scary Pelosi saying they shouldn't bother. I bet you do too. As to your statements about illegal immigration being down, wake up. You live here and you see it too. Tell it to Arizona. Tell Arizona how much enforcement is up. Save the talking points and dissemination of propaganda for those who are buying it... a dwindling by the day group no less. God bless.

Sir Frog ~ Thank you! I have read the hub "Coining a New Word - Obamacrite". It's spot on.

God bless you right down to your patriotic heart!

Its our duty to pay until we amend the treaty, in fact, its the law. I was less than 10 when the treaty was signed, but yes, we should honor our commitments, which is one of the main reasons to balance the Debt. We must pay what we owe. Government sector jobs are down in Texas and nationwide, and you as an Educator have seen it. The Congress, Republicans included, voted to raise the debt ceiling. They didn't print more money, it's electronic funds, so you useless bits of paper don't exist as paper. Arizona has been telling us its going to increase enforcement and has done so.

I addressed several of your points, if you want statistics, I can back up my claims, but you're still talking symptoms. Solutions would be things like an amendment which states "If a person cannot vote in an election, they should not be allowed to contribute to that election." No corporations, no unions, no foreigners, no out-of-state money flooding state elections, etc. Limits should be placed on Executive Orders. We should end no-bid contracts, and in fact, should require automatic contract suspension after a certain time for all government contracts.

Finally, to Frog Prince: You've read and in fact commented on my hubs before, and in fact follow me. You've even given me a "Good Writer." I'm having a grown up conversation with the author of the hub, who are YOU talking to? Finally: yeah, "Good Writer" describes me pretty well, thanks [smirk].

Jim - Then I take it you are calling for an immediate amendment to the treaty so that we will not be giving money to those currently in control, i.e. the Muslim Brotherhood. I could not agree more and thank you for the call to common sense.

Government sector jobs are not down. Education is but a small part of that. IRS workers are up nation wide as were census workers.

If you want to talk about money and elections, to a point I agree with some of what you said but why not go all out? End contributions period. Make airtime equally available to each side for free and truly let it be an even match instead of putting our government up for sale every four years?

Those useless bits of paper in my wallet worked pretty well at the gas station though they did not go far. In fact, they went way less far than they have in a very long time and regardless of who did what when in the past this administration is not fixing it now. I think they are making it worse and so do many many others regardless of you or anyone else liking that fact.

Yea, Arizona is yet again stepping up and I admire them for it. It's not like this administration has been supportive of that as we all well know. If you don't believe that, ask Jan or Joe. Personally, love them both. American heroes they are in my book.

As for your comments to Sir Frog, well, I have followed you too and thought you a good writer for at the time you were spouting sense. But then the zombie apocalypse does make more sense than our government at the current time. God bless.

Poetvix,

Could you do Karen Hellier (and others) a great favor by answering this question, namely: "Are there any new Hub Page Success Stories out there?" That is, Hubbers who earn some $350.00 - $1,000 per month, do you?

If not, how does one find out who does?

See: http://karenhellier.hubpages.com/question/210908/a...

Many thanks for your time (you've written some excellent articles!).

Kind regards,

Aster.

AsterCLinn ~ Thank you very much for taking the time to read and comment. To be frank, I have never made a dime off Hub-pages. That is not to say I could not have but, this is embarrassing, I have never been able to figure out how to connect articles to my Google account. I will be having to work on that in the very near future so if you know how to do that I really would appreciate a heads up.

As for your question, I don't know for sure because I don't ask. I have not been around much lately due to a personal situation. Thanks to said situation and your question, I will be looking into it in great detail for myself. I do know hubbers that get paid from here. I just don't know how well it's working out. I suspect for those who have steady traffic, good content, and have made the connections with Google Adsense and others needed to collect, it's working or they would not continue to do it.

While this is purely a guess on my part, I would bet Billybuc makes a fair profit. He has risen quickly, has excellent content and is a great writer. If you find out about any new money making stars, please return and do tell! Thanks bunches for the read and God bless.

Not a dime for all your time; research and hard work? Oh my goodness, PoetVix! Before I endeavor to assist you where connecting your Hub articles to Google is concerned. I have a very exciting lead, which (only calls, essentially, for the submission of an article) that would enable you to earn real money (i.e., from $2,000 per month upwards), that I urge you to look into and follow-up on right away.

See: http://newyorkertimes.com/reporter/

PS: I'm forwarding this link immediately, and shall return re: Google Adsense details a little later on.

God bless.

Best wishes,

Aster.

PPS: would you have any objection to my copying and pasting your response to my initial inquiry under Karen Hellier's topic for discussion?

AsterCLinn ~ Thank you for returning. I love an ongoing discussion. Please, understand I have no one to blame for not making any money off my articles other than myself. I did not come here originally to make money but rather to see if I really could write. I only did poetry then. I grew to doing more non-fictional type pieces. This writing was a hobby that I really enjoyed, but not my profession. I'm a special needs teacher.

Circumstances over the last few months have made me reconsider that vocational choice and I am now really considering making a change. I greatly appreciate the link you sent and will check it out further, though I have nothing new to submit. I actually have that site window up now. I just read an interesting article there about guns and violence.

I have been more than consumed with the work situation but that will be coming to a close in the not too far off future. I would appreciate any help towards making profits off writing. Here's a link for you. I hope you find it helpful. http://www.freedomwithwriting.com/freedom/uncatego...

I apologize for the link being so long. Just this last week have I been able to actually have some time to start checking into it myself. I got on the mailing list for the site that did the link above and think they may be a useful resource.

God bless you and happy hubbing!

Dear PoetVix,

As it appears my computer is being hacked into in some way, and has crashed any number of times, in the past few days.

All you and every other born and bred American citizen needs to read is The Communist Takeover of America - 45 Declared Goals - to fully understand what has been going on in your country for the past 50 years (and is now possibly nearing its conclusion).

See: http://rense.com/general32/americ.htm

AsterCLinn ~ I'm so sorry to hear about the computer problems. I have been there more than once myself. It really sucks!

Thanks bunches for the link too. Before reading it, I would imagine they read just like societal headlines now for it doesn't take much to see what's going on. What would have been decried and derailed as Communist ideology only 15 years ago now is considered to be "politically correct" by some among us at the present time.

I look forward to reading. God bless and happy hubbing!

Well dear Rhonda just look at this fabulous outpouring of feedback and commentary. The people have spoken - and it's because your innate and keen ability to communicate your ideas and thoughts so well with clarity and to make your point with excellent video choices and arresting text. You are CLEARLY one of the most passionate individuals I have ever known at the HUB - I really do look up to you as someone who must be admired and listened to (read too) ....as you know I come from another country north of you but our political system is in a bit of a mess too - but thank god we both have democracy on our side and the right to free speech and the right to exercise our vote.

Thank you for just being you and all of the hard work you put into each and everyone of your hubs.

I admit I am a bit of an apolitical SOB - lol - but that's just Colin being Colin - but I do have an open mind - and you can tell by the way I write - I don't take any BS either - lol

Sending you my most sincere warm wishes from Colin and his cats at lake erie time ontario canada 4:00pm

Dearest Epi, Thank you so much for taking the time to read something that doesn't affect you in any way and for leaving such a kind and gracious comment. Too few in America realize just how bad things are getting because we are largely distracted by a multitude of things our government purposefully keeps stirred up towards that end. I hope fifty years from now freedom and democracy in America are more than just footnotes in a history text.

I'm glad you are apolitical. If you were to come out for the other side, I would be trouble! I and all the rest of your army of followers here in Hubdom love you just the way you are. God bless you, dearest Epi, and long may you remain the King of Hubpages poetry!
