Trust Who? Obama Doesn't Get It!

Updated on January 18, 2014

Having just read an article or two about Obama's latest press blah blah concerning domestic spying it caused me to put pen to paper. One of the articles almost had me rolling on the floor laughing my butt off because he wants us to "trust" him. After all the lies he has told us since he first started campaigning, and gotten caught at them I might add, he must think his charisma outweighs his stupidity. I'd rather trust a rattle snake than I would a pathological liar like Obama. I've been around both and the snake is easier to deal with and more trustworthy,

Obama somehow doesn't seem to get the fact that the majority of Americans have lost trust in both him and our political institutions. In fact, the majority see the federal government as our biggest problem, not the solution. It's amazing that as his administrations adds to the string of lies and overstates anything that can possibly be overstated he asks for our trust.

Read The Polls About Trust Obama And Stop Talking Too Much

So then I cruised over to You Tube and called up "Trust Me Obama" and took a look see and the pattern was there again. Covering lies with more lies and misdirection. I'm still not sure Obama understands this new "information age" that captures his words and images.

Now understand this latest "trust me" plea was in the very same week where his administration released highly exaggerated numbers about Obamacare enrollment. Like we haven't caught onto all that nonsense out here in reality Barack? Multiple media outlets were all over the latest fairy tale that was released regarding his "signature piece" of legislation. So lets have some liberal know it all tell us how it is that numbers can be released when this administration continually tells us that they don't know what the numbers are? Save that line for low information voters Obama.

Previously I wrote a column called Your Weak In Review where I pointed out the weaknesses of all this side show activity but this will suffice for now. This past week was definitely not one to bolster trust in Barack Obama. I'm thinking that even the Lame Stream Media and members of his own party are starting to catch on to his glib lips. They are really hard to ignore.

Then there was the little fact that Obama, through Holder's Lack of Justice Department, first appointed a party hack and one of Obama's political campaign contributors to investigate the abuses of the Internal Revenue Service. Lets just have a partisan hack investigating the partisan abuses of the IRS. Talk about the fox guarding the hen house. Holder has it down to a fine art. Then it was revealed that the FBI says there will be no criminal charges brought against anyone for the abuses uncovered. Interesting in light of the fact that the FBI didn't bother to talk to the victims themselves before slapping the lid on that can of worms.

He promised a full investigation and I expect one minus any partisan hack investigator at the helm. People need to be held accountable and not put on paid leave and allowed to retire with pay and benefits so they can sip pina coladas in the Grand Cayman islands. There are still massive lawsuits that have been filed regarding this abuse of power. It's not going to go away as easily as Obama wants it to. In his mind the passage of time is the fix for his scandals.

Outrageous? Fully Accountable? Integrity? Trust You?

It gets worse. The US Senate Intelligence Committee rolls out a bi-partisan report on Benghazi shooting down everything Obama, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, Jay Carney and all that other bevy of clowns put forward as the reason 4 Americans died at the hands of known terrorists. The New York Times had just put forward the same lie that they went in front of Lotty, Dotty and everybody about in an effort to cover Hillary's broad butt. The line was it was that darned video that really hadn't even made the Arab circuit when the incident occurred.

The report was rather blunt. It laid it on the line that the whole thing could have been prevented if the Obama administration had been paying attention to both intelligence reports and calls for assistance by Ambassador Steven's himself to the State Department. Lets take a look at the real time line the week all this came down and what Obama was, or in most cases wasn't, doing and paying attention to.

His focus was his own reelection. The question is then what was Hillary's focus while that week was happening? Seems she was asleep at the wheel? So now we're again supposed to trust either one of those political rattle snakes?

So in essence all that was coming down around his big ears and he steps in front of the microphone in front of the teleprompter waxing eloquent, but basically saying nothing about the NSA spying on the American people other than "trust him." I just don't think I will after all those lies he has been caught telling. Then he wants to bring Eric Holder into this picture. That is the same Holder who has been held in contempt of Congress.

I hope you caught my implication weaving its way through this article. His fix is to put his "internal measures" in place to alleviate the problems that are very evident to an intelligent person. All the "internal measures" previously mentioned here have been nothing more than cover ups. We, the People let Richard Nixon get away with far less than what Obama is guilty of. Why is my question.

As I listened to him, which is always painful for me, another thing I noticed was that he failed to mention the 200 million text messages that the NSA has collected so far which revelation had also just hit the news wires. What he basically said is that Big Brother is going to continue on as usual only someone else is going to store the data collected. Sounds like a version of bait and switch to me.

Mincing Words In August 2013

I think I'll take the course I've been on for a while. That would be not believing much the man says as soon as his lips start moving. I'm not sure how comfortable anyone should be with the knowledge that your phone records, emails and now text messages are being collected to benefit no one but you who initiates those communications. And now? He wants some unnamed third party entity to store that information for Big Brother itself.

Is there something wrong with that picture?
