Wake up US before it's too late

Updated on June 8, 2018

The country that promises to offer so much to the world suffers from its own calamities, unless the people living in the US of A, wake up and take drastic action they risk losing the very things that their ancestors worked so hard to build.

As the debt in the US exceeds $14.001 trillion, many millions of innocent Americans face financial ruin and if US borrowing hits the ceiling, the treasury would be prohibited from borrowing any more money. Leading to immediate and draconian policy changes, without which the country would be unable to pay its bondholders or fund programs.

That's because there will not be enough tax revenue coming in to cover all of the country's bills. Public services would be reduced and cut-backs will result in many more Americans losing their jobs, livelihood with lasting and negative effect on their lives.

Financial experts around the globe say the domino effect would be crippling not only to the US. economy but very likely to economies and markets worldwide.  Everyone in the world is already suffering the pinch and if the US continues in its downward spiral, it can only get worse unless the people wake up and demand answers.

Capitalism: A Love Story

Where and how - your hard earned cash is being wasted by the government

Snap preview of US spending on things that don’t actually benefit anybody other than the greedy CEO’s of those select companies that deal in sectors that benefit from huge government contracts.

Let’s start with US spending in Iraq, the government has Spent & Approved War-Spending – of about $900 billion of US taxpayers (that’s your hard earned cash) funds spent or approved for spending through in November 2010.

Where is the logic? You the average Joe American works so hard to earn a living, before you get paid for your effort the government automatically takes its share in the form of income tax.  Now; I’d have no issues if the tax money was used for good causes like providing people with free education, free medical treatments, jobs and many of the other social benefits that we could all use.

Instead this money gets wasted on things like:

  • Lost & Un-accounted for in Iraq - $9 billion of US tax money and $549.7 million in spare parts shipped in 2004 to US contractors.
  • $1 billion - Your tax money missing in tractor trailers, tank recovery vehicles, machine guns and other equipment and services provided to the Iraqi security forces.
  • Halliburton Overcharges, Classified by the Pentagon as Unreasonable and Unsupported - $1.4 billion of your hard earned cash.

On top of this you have the defence budget, now what are we defending and from whom. USA is the most powerful country in the world with the largest arsenal of technologically advanced weapons that no other country can match. Why then does the government need to spend so much more tax money on defence in comparison to other countries, as shown in the graph below. Why is the US so mad over defending itself?

Why do we need to spend so much on defense...when there are millions dying on the streets?
Why do we need to spend so much on defense...when there are millions dying on the streets?

Now look at the graph and see the nearest rival to US defence budget, it does not take a genius to realise that the American people are being taken for a very big ride by the greedy politicians that they have voted in to power.  No one benefits from that kind of spending on weapons which will undoubtedly be used on killing innocent humans in the name of spreading freedom and democracy very much shrouded in hypocrisy – I would add.  The list below shows fifteen of the highest defence spenders in the world.

All of these countries - don't really need to spend this much on defense. They create hysteria to justify this expense.

Report - Crazy U.S. Defense Spending

Not only is your tax money being wasted on things like this but, it is also being used in regime change activities in countries like Iran. According to the website of Senator Lieberman, a new bill has been approved which authorizes $50 million for the expansion of Persian-language broadcasting in Iran by Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty's Radio Farda and the Voice of America's Persian News Network. It will also allocate another US$25 million in internet-based activities.

Wake up and seek the truth...change for the better!

What will it take to wake you UP!
