What Burns My Goat PT XVII

So I was reading about this guy who killed his wife and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. He claimed his 8th amendment was violate because he has an identity crisis. The judge agreed and ordered the state to perform the sex change in which taxpayers have to pay for. There's alot of controversy over this because

one: he is a murdered

two: he's in prison for life

three: the taxpayers who are already paying to house, clothe, and feed him now have to pay for his sex change.

Even the politicians are appalled by this decision. The family of the victim can't believe the judge ordered this. So does this mean all convicts can claim they have gender identity disorder and have a sex change? God I sure hope not. It's bad enough we have these convicts that claim they committed the crime by reason of insanity and get away with it.

Not only do we have to pay for convicts to be off the streets by clothing, housing, and feeding them but we have to pay for all their transportation to and from Dr's. and other prisons when transferred. We work hard for our money and this to me is abuse of the tax dollars we work for and we shouldn't have to foot the bill for a sex change.

The first amendment is the freedom of speech, do you know how many times people violate that amendment? If we sued every time someone violated that we'd be in court more than work or home. I think the judge should pay for the sex change to be done and after reading some of the comments posted in the article about this i'm not alone.

The court system has really become a major let down lately. I think we need new judges who aren't afraid to impose justice for the victims, instead of the convicted. The older I get the more I see the legal system shutting down and that's What Burns My Goat.
