Where Are These People To Help Pay Off Our National Debt?
Everyday I open up my email account and there's from five to ten emails from the Democratic National Party asking me for money to donate to Obama's campaign. It's getting to the point that I'm starting to send back nasty replies. This is one of the emails I got from them, today:
BREAKING: Romney’s Super PAC just wired $12 million in emergency funding to nine battlegrounds. It’s being called the "most aggressive and expensive push yet” by The New York Times.
Kathryn — What a response! Just today, more than 5,000 fired up supporters have contributed to fight back against this nine state Republican SuperPAC attack campaign-- their largest of this election.
Kathryn, we only need 2,000 more people to step up by 3PM tomorrow, and we'll get the Emergency Funds into the key battlegrounds by Monday morning. Do either the Democratic or Republican party recall we have this huge National Debt? It's the largest this country has ever had. And yet they're wasting all this money on an election, no doubt for political ads to self promote themselves when all that money could be put towards paying off our National Debt. What's wrong with these people?
And don't you love the way Crystal accuses the Republicans of trying to buy the election, when aren't the Democrats doing exactly the same thing. They're both trying to buy the White House, and wasting gross amounts of money to do it. While our country is in huge debt and people can't find jobs, they're wasting money on political ads about Big Bird. But the even bigger question is where are all these people donating vast amounts of money to useless political campaigns when it comes time to help pay off our National Debt. Just imagine how much less our National Debt would be if all the money both the Democrats and Republicans raised to waste on their elections was given to our government to pay off our National Debt.
I have a lot of personal debt because I'm not employed at the moment and when my birthday came along I wanted to get a Kentucky Fried Chicken dinner to celebrate my birthday. Guess what? I didn't do it, because it wouldn't make sense to get some fast food when the money could go towards paying off some of my bills. Yet these shameless politicians who are begging for money to buy more political ads think nothing of wasting vast sums of money when our country has a huge debt that needs to be paid off.
They seem to have lost sight of what they're fighting to get elected for. It's to take care of this country and it's people, not to get a fancy title and to live in a fancy mansion. Why would anyone want to vote for either party who are just a bunch of wastrels who only care about winning a title for themselves and could care less about our country, because if they did, they'd donate all the vast amounts of money they've raised to paying off our National Debt instead of wasting it on useless political ads that most people ignore, anyway.
