How come no news pundits or newspapers blame the decades old - two front wars of USA as the cause

of the crappy economy? ... One trillion dollars, gone! .....According to the Center for Economic and Policy Research’s (CEPR) Dean Baker:

“In standard economic models, defense spending is a direct drain on the economy, reducing efficiency, slowing growth and costing jobs. …Standard economic models…project that the increase in defense spending since 2000 will cost the economy close to two million jobs in the long run

The media is owned by a few. When independent news "gatherers" start printing real news or broadcasting real news, it's often overshadowed. Some independent radio stations have been bombed. The major news folks are into the brainwashing of America. The few own America. This is not a free country. These news sources have to lie. They have to keep America at itself and every other country. It's a "team sport". This is about enslaving the world for business. Why else would the Rothschilds be on our "Federal Reserve"?
Every child born in America has a New York stock exchange number.
The answer to your question really is - America ain't for real. American leaders are too MEAN and STUPID to comer up with any other plan but to send the best, patriotic, KIDS into a meatgrinder every 20 years and less.
The real answer is - America and the world is run by business people who need to perform some genocide occasionally for population decrease, power, resources, and to keep the public in fear.

Because then they'd trot out some patriot who would say, "If we acknowledge that we're hemorraging money faster than a loan shark with his throat cut, then the terrorists win!"

Great answer Jarn, "hemorraging money faster than a loan shark with his throat cut"   - damn that's good!.

Mickey Dee: I agree - so perhaps the only true independent voices are lon the web such as Huppages or other web authorships for the masses?  Experts to worried about funding to express true views?  Only the folks with nothing to lose are wiling to speak up?

because they are a bunch of of liberal doooche baggs, liberal means empire expansionist. and like micky d sais, they are owned by a few groups of folks  who can easily collude to set any starting point for any debate they want. Its up to us to intercede and screw their plans up by raising our voices on the issue. vietnam eneded because of public pressure. I think  10 years of shock and awe over the events unfolding in the'war on terror", has left people feeling like sheeple.
