By the fact that laws are on the books barring the act makes it a crime. Those laws in America were enacted by the Founding Fathers based on Christian beliefs therefore it is not only a crime but also a violation of our Christian beliefs as a nation. Murder is at its roots an irrational act...possibly even the result of temporary insanity. There is nothing rationale in selecting that action, so the person committing it cannot be thinking in a rational manner. It is barbaric and instinctive to survival at best. WB
