   I think she is neither.  I think every decision she makes has been well thought out, even if it doesn't always appear that way.

   Sarah Palin is merely deeply conservative or what sometimes is called ultraconservative. I think we have to say that most politicians are not Mensa cardholders. She is not evil, just deeply and profoundly CONSERVATIVE. Believe it or not, the country would not "go to hell in a handbasket" if she were to become President of the United States. It really wouldn't and I think you know that.
   
   We would survive somehow. Anyway, Palin probably isn't so stupid that she cannot move her and the Tea Party faction of the Republican Party agenda forward.
   
   Let me just paraphrase a line I read in the classic Mario Puzo novel, The Godfather. Don Vito Corleone was answering a comment about a Sicilian clan, whom it was said they weren't the sharpest knives in the drawers:
   
   'She [Palin] makes a living. Who needs to be more clever than that?'

   i don't really care about pallin but i do know that the anti-christ is just another religious fable. there is no such thing so i guess maybe in some peoples opinion she's just nuts.

   I have always thought that both the media and pundits have underestimated Palin's attraction or possible future attractiveness to a large number of unemployed, disaffected, disillusioned and, yes, stupid people too.
   I've tended to take a slightly sardonic tonic when I've written about Palin; however, it probably doesn't reflect the respect I hold for her ability to attract a large number of loyal followers. I must admit that I am often mystified by why she attracts her followers, and I wonder that if she wasn't an attractive looking woman whether she'd command the same following.

   She is neither stupid nor someone mystical like the Anti-Christ.
   
   She may not be the intellectual state of the art, interpreting intellectual people to learned persons, but she is shrewd enough to fully use her limited talents.
   
   
   Difficult to say why she attracts many followers.  Also difficult to say how much her limited capability to reflect and analyze allow her advisors to control her.
