To create a safer city, should Hobos be allowed?
I've lived in places before where the cops would physically pick up hobos and drop them off elsewhere in order to make sure their city remained "safe". What do you guys think? It is kind of elitist, but at the same time the crime rate was practically nonexistent there. Would you want to live somewhere like this?
It depends what kind of 'hobo' (I take it you mean homeless person or vagrant) you're on about!! There are some people who are genuinely homeless and in need of help, support etc - those people do little or nothing to raise the crime levels in an area. It's the drunks/drug addicts/criminal beggars (the ones who beg as a business) and general hooligans who need moving on. The problem, of course, is how to tell the difference between the two groups! In this country people can register as officially homeless, though that doesnt prevent them being persecuted by PCSOs and the general public.
First, investigate why do we have hobos, homelessness and poor. Once you can answer those question, then, and only can you have a safe city. If one person is suffering we all are suffering.
For all the things that are negative about Hobos and homeless types, I have never heard them accused of being big perpetrators of criminal activities. Most of the time their focus seems to be on just getting their hands on a little money for food, booze, or drugs. Criminal activities is too much like work so I think most of them shy away from it. I think there are other elements who warrant our attention that are more involved in the criminal element of our towns. WB
hobos cause no more crime then anyone else, perhaps even less. the reason people don't like them around is because they don't want their area to look like there are poor people in it. it has nothing to do with crime but rather to do with ignorance.

What beers are safer for someone with fructose malabsorption?I realize that it is possible that no beer will be fructose-free, but I've read that beers made with corn are higher in fructose. I'm looking for some with a lower fructose content.

Would the world be safer without religion?Religious extremism seems to be a serious driving force for many atrocities happening around the world. Would the world be safer if there were no religious differences?

The gov't. can't seem to make up their minds. With the plane incident and the major, they still can't call it terrorism. What do you think?
