   Morals are based on our religious beliefs or intrinsic values.  As for me, I believe it is perfectly fine to celebrate the death of certain individuals.

   You know, when we say we're "after justice" we so often mean revenge.
   
   I can understand the feelings of relief that a man, whose beliefs were so radical that he'd lead others to kill strangers just because they don't believe the things he believes, is now no longer with us has now gone.   But to celebrate!   
   
   I don't think so. 
   
   He will be replaced, of course.   There are still so many in this world who think that their beliefs are what they are.

   Actually it is not acceptable according to most religions but if large number of people were suffering because of that person people feel some kind of freedom with the death of that person. So they celebrate.

   I feel the urge to celebrate his death is not wrong or at the very least being relieved or even happy that he dead is not wrong however by celebrating in the street as so many people have it really makes us no better then them. Remember how we thought what a@#holes they were for celebrating after killing our troops now we are doing the same to someone who as sick as it sounds had people that believed in him and his ways. Us as Americans should not stoop down to their level and do the same exact thing they did to us after our towers fell. Understandably we want to and sure celebrating with friends and family is even acceptable as OBL brought magnatudes of pain to many families and for that fact the entire country but by screaming and chanting in the streets all we are doing is making them hate us more then they already did making the possibility of another terror attack even more likely to our nation by another terrorist and we all should know that there is others just waiting for a shot at us and all we are doing is motivating their hatered even more.

    I do not believe it's morally acceptable to celebrate the death of anyone.  For supposed Christians to be "praising God" for bin Laden's death is definitely not what Jesus/Buddha/Mohammed/mother goddess would want, in my opinion.
    
    However, I certainly DID celebrate when Geo. W. Bush left office, after getting the US into a war that unnecessarily took the lives of so many US soldiers, and for what??  Retribution for weapons of mass murder?  There were none.  The real reason we got involved in Iraq was to avenge his daddy's failure in Desert Storm, wasn't it?  And to protect oil prices.  Lives in exchange for oil?  Is that morally acceptable?  No one has ever answered the question of why we entered Iraq.
    
    In my opinion, Bush is another mass murderer and the number of lives lost of both US soldiers and innocent Iraqi and Afghanistani citizens is much higher than the loss of life on 9/11.  Who's worse?  Who's loss of life and/or stature should we be celebrating?  We should be mourning the loss of America's place in this world, the loss of innocent lives, all in the face of lies and injustice by a president who couldn't stop reading a book about goats to a classroom full of children while the twin towers burned.  The America that citizens were once so proud of, the leading nation of the world, is dead, bombed of all truth, all justice, all reason.  It's embarrassing to be American anymore...
