   How long has the United States known where Bin Laden has been hiding?
   
   Is it ironic that Barack Obama just so happen to find Osama Bin Laden and kill him when an election will be coming up soon? How long have they known he was in Pakistan and failed to do anything for their own purposes?

   Many years around 2005 I heard a CIA report which stated Osama was in Pakistan. Both India and Afghanistan have said to the US that Osama was in Pakistan with the support of Pakistani Intelligence (ISI).
   
   President Bush was more focused in Iraq. On March 13th, 2002, President Bush claimed he was not interested in finding Osama. He said he was "..not concerned", and claimed that Osama was not worth looking for. In 2006, Bush closed down the CIA team assigned to look for Osama. President Musharraf told everyone that Osama is probably dead, even though he did not provide evidence.
   
   Well, I am glad that Obama kept his election promise and re-activated the search of Osama without getting the Pakistan involved.
   
   Before President Bush, President Clinton got evidence of Osama's hideout in Afghanistan.  Clinton ordered a cruise missile attack to that hide-out
   However, the Clinton administration made one critical mistake.
   He informed the Pakistan Intelligence of the impending cruise missile attack.  The cruise missile launch from the sea had to overfly Pakistani airspace. Very soon Osama and his gang escaped just in time.
   
   If you connect the dots, do you will see why Obama was successful.

   According to press releases, they had been watching the compund he was using as a hiding place for about six months, but the fact that he was in pakistan was wideley accepted.

   I think the exact location of Bin Laden was not known until recently.  I don't believe Obama decided to kill him because he could get kudos on election day.  I'm not an Obama fan myself, but he did the right thing in this case.
   
   As for the Bush haters who have written responses to your question.  I believe George W would have done the same had he known where Osama was hiding.  Y'all need to get ahold of some Thorazine, your getting a little psychotic in the depth your hate filled delusions.
   
   Ole George W was a mans man, not a darn fool.  Wish he was still in office now.

   As I recall, minutes after the planes crashed into the World Trade Center, the Bush administration cleared the way for the Bin Landens in the US to leave safely. The Bin Ladens and the Bush family go back to the years when Bush Sr. ran the CIA.  Enough said? No, I agree with "thesource" as to Bush Jr making the comment that he was not concerned with "Bin Landen". There was no need to look for the man, they already knew where he was.
