All purchases are supply and demand. If we only buy what we need, then sellers will be forced to lower price. Then we will be able to afford the things we want, and eventually economy would be normal again...........Maybe???? Geez, I dunno.
I think we should legalize Weed, and then tax the he!! out of it. I seriously think that this would be a very lucrative industry for everyone. I do not partake, but the uses for this cash crop is endless. It is actually an alternative fuel source.
legalizing weed would do nothing more then let idiots run around more then they already do. also it would do nothing more than the increased taxes on smokes.
Get government out of our business, lower taxes, let free market reign. The law of supply and demand, without interference works. The people who have the gumption to take risks start businesses that employ people. If the guy isn't fair and honest, people will take their business elsewhere. Like they say you cannot legislate people into wealth. What someone gets without working for it another must work for it without getting it. The world was stagnant for how many thousand years? Think of the technology invented in the last 200 years. It wasn't the government that invented it. It was some guy on his basement or garage that had a dream. Government invents ways to support people, not to inspire them to support themselves.
If the restrictions against drilling for oil off the coasts of Florida and California were lifted, that would go a long towards helping the economy.
you have to get away from the banking system and there interest scam rate, the banking system is a DEBT SYSTEM and very bad for one health and the people themselves has to loan with a very fair rate and when a new business open up it must be and employee own. do what you can to turn you work place to and employee own place and in time elect every day people to tax the country WITH BALANCE and relax the local and fed laws and EPA. the main problem is people want to live in a big city and get a job while it best to go to a small town and start and employee own business and revile the small town

Should the government prioritize education more than the economy? The main focus of the government and peoples concern is the economy, but how about the education? Education is a value in that nobody can steal them away from you, it drives a nation to be productive. On the other hand, if the economy...

I have heard that there may be more than one version of the Green New Deal. Something about a version posted, (and pulled), from AOC's website, and another version that is somewhere in the legislative process. (Republicans trying to embarrass Democrats)For a common reference point, I will use the...

What is your best idea to fix our economy?

I used to think this would really help people, but now I think it is a horrible idea. Especially for the economy and society in general. Covid has been a real eye opener. Paying people not to work, well, they then don't work, and they get lazy and don't go back to work. What are your thoughts on...

What makes able-bodied, healthy, & intelligent Americans to believe that they are ENTITLED to live the good life but NEVER by their efforts. They believe that their family members, other relatives, others, charities, & most of all, the government owes them a comfortable life? ...

After all of the bailouts, TARP, etc., it seems that Obama and Congress are just spending $ that we don't have like drunken sailors. Shouldn't there be more focus on creating jobs, and improving the economy?
