OK, you have the power to go back in time to change one event. What event would you alter and why?
It could be to correct a personal faux pas, to stop something from occurring or insuring that something did, anything. What would it be?
There are many tings that would require changing the list is endless. There is no one in life who claims not to have any regrets. After all everyone makes mistakes.
I would not change anything because otherwise I would not be in the mindset I am in now, cherish the experience through the difficult and the easy times and continue to grow instead of adding regrets of what you could of or should have done. The question is what are you doing now?
I know it's not possible so let me go wild on my answer. I would change how I cried on someone who did not even cared for me at all. Although I already gone through the process of letting him go, so much precious time and tears were wasted.
Am I being so emo? LOL.Well, just sharing my views though.
Regards,
Alma
I would rather change the future by taking the best actions now, after thinking carefully. Dreaming for a chance to change the present by traveling to the past is useless and a waste of time.
I would change the state that Germany was left in after World War I, which allowed Hitler to gain power and destroy Europe and kill millions of people. If the people had not been so desperate they would never have followed him and history would be completely different.
There are times, I am given to great wonder.................
'what if', my Mother had not walked away from my childhood, leaving me to be reared by Grandparents.
They were kind, honest, resourcesful and loving.
They set high standards, and I loved them dearly, but
I wonder....................what if...........I had been reared by the
generation that was responsible for my rearing and guidance?
Might I be different, and if so, HOW?
It is a passing ( and reoccuring) thought............
Love this question. Personally I think things for myself should stay the same. Otherwise as others have said, I just wouldn't be me.
But can I go with one of the great "What if's ..." of American history?
What if Robert E Lee had listened to his Corps commanders in particular James Longstreet and had refused Battle on the Second and Third days at Gettysburg PA.
This would have possibly meant the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia moving around the flank of the Union Army of the Potomac.
Could Lee have threatened the Union capital and secured the victory that may have won the war?
That would be a question worth changing history to know the answer.
Again love the question.
