Can Americans honestly be subjective about Islam after 9/11?

Or will Americans remain bias towards Muslims?  Did 9/11 do more damage and harm in the form of distrust and dislike than just the crumbling of the towers and the deaths of so many people?

Its not a question of how or what Americans think about what happened on 9/11 ... vis a vis Islam and the Muslims.
Because ... What happened on 9/11, is an Exception, not the general Rule.

Before the Twin Towers crashes exception's happening ... as a general Rule, more innocent people are being butchered globally ... every day ... under different pretexts, and excuses ... by these very same criminals ... in daily strikes, than were killed in the Twin Tower tragedy in America ...

The WTC bombing, is something wrapped in mystry ... where it may reasonably be assumed, as a cold blooded conspiracy effected by a group of a few mad mercenaries, who had Muslim names ... aimed at generating Anti Muslim Anti Islam sentiment ... Distrust and Dislike ... at the grass root level, throughout the world.

I am a Muslim ... a regular Muslim ... belonging to the 99.9% majority of the Muslims throughout the world ... who condemn, the Murdering of any innocent Humans ... Muslims, Jews, Christians, or other religious denominations ... anywhere in the world ... by these Universal Criminals.

Do you mean objective? Most everyone is subjective to just about every bias or idea they have. Anyway, yes, Americans can still be objective towards Islam, and take it as a religious system as usual as the Jewish or Christian systems. Islam is another belief system. It could have been any other belief system that fueled the need to attack the trade center, so it isn't the religion's fault or those who peacefully follow it at all. Some Americans are subjective towards Islam, but not all American's condemn the religion for the attacks. Regardless, it was a terrible, cruel, and horrible incident no matter who conducted it.
