   I couldn't care less who even my favorite actor or performer endorses. It has no influence over my decision.

   In America yes because it is a culture of fame and fortune and there is a huge amount of people who narrow mindedly consider celebrities as righteous people or some sort of nonsense. And the majority of these people have no interest or knowledge of politics so they will vote the way their told be certain people they "trust",
   In Europe there is hardly any focus on who celebrities are voting for because most  europeans are more aware of politics and they have for the most part got an independent political mind so regardless who a celebrity votes it wont impact their decision , so politicians dont use that tactic in Europe

   It can I think, some celebrities can have as much pull as politicians after all some have become politicians (Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ronald Reagan). Anyone truly interested in making a decision for him or herself wouldn't be swayed by celebrities but I think there are those who can be influenced for sure.

   No. It all depends on how the person sees the issues that affect them. I don't really care who endorses the candidate, as long as the candidate has a positive approach to the issues, I'm ok.

   I think celebrities put the spotlight on politicians that they support but I don't think voters vote for a politician because of the celebrity.

   i don't think it should because they're totally different fields. both involving fame but i would not consider it.
   If however they used really successful business people as support ... such as CEO's of companies then i would definitely consider their opinions.

   What difference does it make if a celebrity supports a particular politician or not? Thanks for asking this question. The celebrity is a person just like the rest of us. They have their opinions just like the rest of us. When they are in front of the camera, they are fulfilling the fantasy of viewers across the world by pretending to be someone they are not. When celebrities leave the stage they are the same person with the same values they had before going on stage. I believe the public gets confused when they see a celebrity they like. People tend to feel if that person was good in the movies, then maybe I should vote for whomever the celebrity supports. Maybe the economy will turn out the same way as the many movies I've seen the celebrity in.

   There are many endorsements by celebrities and others that are well known or are in a management position in an organization that come out in support of politicians.  News reports have shown that this kind of endorsement has little if any impact.  Just because a celebrity or a person in management of an organization endorses a particular politician does not mean their membership or theiry employees agree with them.
   
   While celebrities may have some pull and may get individuals to think about specific politicians whether they agree with the positions of the candidates will be the deciding factor in their votes.  This is how it should be.

    Their opinions make no difference to me.  Actually, a lot of them come across like they are talking down to the masses.  In reality their world is not the same as the world the average person lives in.  I know they have their own problems and struggles, but they are often quite different that the struggles of the typical person. Based on that I don't feel any degree of connection with them, so I don't really care who they support.
