I'm with Dexter, sort of. I think it would indeed be interesting to see a Herman Cain/Barack Obama matchup.
Though I'm partial (but not committed) to my own Gov. Perry, Rick's not the strongest debater you'll ever see, he's the type that takes a lot of coaching, he's much better on the stump. Don't misunderstand, I've seen him take 'em down in Gubernatorial debates. He can be VERY good in one meeting and VERY bad in the next (as we all saw with Florida). So you can call that a wash.
Hate to say this: Obama would absolutely destroy Ron Paul. He'd probably get under Michelle Bachmann's skin early on- she's too much of a lightning rod.
Aside from Cain, the best debate competition would probably come from Romney, and although I have no plans to vote for the man, preferring to see him in a cabinet-level post, he wouldn't stand a chance against Newt Gingrich. The man could pick him apart issue by issue.
And Delmer47: As Chad Hasty, morning host on KFYO AM 790 here in Lubbock said after the last debate, "Debates just make you wanna drink more."
