I visualize it as a cob, soda bottle earth house. Where the roof is shaped such that it collects every drop of rainwater and stores it in a cistern that's heated by the sun. Where all the windows face south, and the fireplace only needs lit at Christmas time. Where every drop that I pour down the drain gets fed to the vegetable garden.
I visualize hope in permaculture rooftops, and solar apartment buildings. In urban farmers, apartment vermi-compost and mushrooms that eat plastic. I hope that I have time to teach people not to be afraid of this change. It's not a lack of solutions that holds us back (or at least not a lack of effort to find them)...it's the fact that so many people in the positions to do something are afraid to admit that there is a problem.
