I think the United Kingdom has been a misnomer for some time. Scotland has always had lots of differences in law and in education, most of it good. If the people vote for Independence, then they should have it as long as they don't still have a big voice in the Westminster parliament. Same goes for Wales and Ireland. The trouble is, I feel that all except the English are fiercely patriotic; good for them too I say. However, why aren't we flying our flag too? I'm proud to be English but I don't regard myself as British because I'm not very proud of our name abroad. As for Europe, well..... don't get me started!
Freedom is a natural human desire and is an inalienable right that no man, king, government or country can take or give. If the Scottish people want freedom...then they need to boldly seize the opportunity and proclaim their independence.

With a huge turnout and in the wake of a controversial killing of a MP the UK people voted to leave the EU. Many cited the control of its' borders as the main reason. A handful of other members are also considering a similar direction. Can the US learn anything from this or are we just terminally...
