Nobody can fix the economy by themselves, so how can we do it individually as a group?

There's no way to fix the economy. Most people's definition of "fixed" means we return to our old ways of spending more than we earn and not saving for anything.

Our nation simply owes too much debt. The American People owe too much debt.

Our 40 year experiment in fiat currency is going to come to a head soon. No fiat currency has ever succeeded for very long.

People want everything now, and they want it for free.

We just have to accept the fact that life in America isn't that bad. Almost everyone gets to eat if they are starving. Almost everyone has a warm place to sleep. We are the 1% of the world, even if we are poor and near homeless.

We fix the economy just as we have for over 200 years, creating businesses and hiring people. I know it sounds so 1980s and capitalism is so bizantine that only those ignorant Chinese would be only so foolish as to imagine that capitalism could raise their people out of poverty and stimulate economic growth unlike China has ever seen.

But no, not in America will we have any of the that deviant capitalism. Instead, in America we have leaders and Americans embracing socialism. Apparently the economic models currently destroying countries such as Greece, Italy, Spain, and Portugal are superior to job creation and economic growth. In fact, Obama believes in "green" energy and jobs so profoundly that he has decided that America will adopt the Spanish model, which has proven that for every one green job created two (2) jobs are lost.  This is brilliance squared!

What I believe is that Obama, because he is the smartest guy in the room, is tricking the Chinese into following capitalism, while we take over the green energy markets and leave all that cheap old dirty gas, oil and coal to the Chinese. Besides in America we don't make anything so who needs energy!

It's like this, until we get government out of the way and stop creating regulations that put individuals in prison for 6 years for shipping lobster in a plastic bag instead of a cardboard box then we will have a chance at stopping this bullet train to economic disaster and we may just create a few jobs.
