   Is it time for Ron Paul, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich to drop out of the Republican race?
   
   Are the GOP candidates doing more harm to their party by constantly fighting with each other and is it time for Paul, Santorum and Gingrich to drop out?

   Yes, it is high-time that trio hit the road. At this point, they are gumming up the works and getting in the way.
   
   And I don't know why they ran for the nomination in the first place, because not a one of those three is fit to be president and "The Leader of the Free World."

   Each of the candidates mentioned has a right to stay in the race.  Mitt Romney has not accumulated the required delegates and there are many left to be awarded.  Romney is not well liked by many in the GOP as identified with the closeness of the elections thus far and where he did not win states such as in the South.
   
   Romney may or may not be the nominee and I will support the nominee whoever it may be but it is not certain he will obtain the required delegates before the convention.  The coverage in the news treats Romney as if it has already been decided he will be the nominee.  Coverage should be fair to all the candidates. The remaining delegates are awarded by porportional methods based on the percentage of votes each receives.  While he will get some delegates the pace will be slower than in the past where winner take all was in place.

   I think it's been pretty well demonstrated that the Republicans can change their preferred candidate at the drop of a hat in this primary. I don't blame any of them for sticking around since it could still possibly change direction in anyone's favor. That said, I would be quite pleased if Santorum would drop out of politics altogether,

   Yes it is time, in my view, long past time for them to withdraw. Both Gingrich and Santorum admit that they cannot acquire enough delegates to get the nomination, and that they only remain to try to prevent Mitt Romney from getting enough delegates to gain the nomination. They say that they will back the frontrunner. Romney is the frontrunner. They are not only not backing him, they are trying to destroy him and prevent him from having the time and support he needs to beat Omama in November. In doing this Santorum gets his wish of Obama receiving a second term. He said he would never vote for Obama, he never said that he would not in some way help Obama to win the election.
   Ron Paul was never a serious presidential campaigner anyway. He just wants to promote his cause at the convention and maybe have a spot at the podium.
