   Why is it, when we are stared at, we become uncomfortable?
   
   Remember as a child the bratty phrase, "take a picture, it might last longer"?  Why do we become annoyed, or disturb by a stare, especially from a stranger?  Majority of us feel exposed!  Ever have that hair stand up on the back of your neck and turn to find the pair of eyes piercing your way?   What in us that stirs discomfort from a stare?

   There are different kind of stares friendly, intentional or just Blindy staring at some one not knowing that they are doing so...U may feel uncomfortable for geting the sensation of being  isolated from everyone, getting exposed  to some stranger , u feel creepy when u r alone and being stared...whatever it is u r body gets an alarming sensation that tells u whether to greet the person, get prepared to fight or just runaway

   When someone stares at you it gives you the feeling of violation because that person is scanning you and they could be doing it for a reason other than wanting to harm you. For the most part the human eyes can also tell if someone is scared or just plain out of their mind. Some people have learned to use this as a way to comply fear in others.
   
   For one reason why most of the time I wear sunglasses, I know this is going to sound bad, but with shades over your eyes people cannot tell where you are looking, who you are looking at and if they stare at you and you look back you can make them uneasy because they cannot see your eyes and what you might be thinking. This is also the big reason why law enforcement wear sunglasses because if they make a traffic stop or a bust, it is hard for the other person to intimidate them through the sunglasses and the fear that they might cause is reflected back on them.

   Because we don't always like people watching us. It causes anxiety and stress, discomfort and nervousness. Someone might think you are doing something wrong, they might think of a better way of doing it, they might not like something about me. Basically, judgemental causes.

   Staring at someone is preparation for attack. It is an act of sizing up an adversary. Very primordial.
