Oh, I see now! Homosexuality is contagious, and will be more likely to spread if same-sex marriage is made legal. Aha! I understand now!
If you believe this, what about we couples who have no children? Should the law say that we aren't married?
And what about single parents? should the law say they are married, even if they don't want to be?
People of every sexuality have sex without/before being married. Marriage and procreation don't relate anymore so your statement makes zero sense. The population will grow regardless.
