   Is Barack Obama an American citizen?
   
   According to all the legit facts, our current President is an American citizen, but there are some that still say he is not, so my fellow hubbers, what do you say?

MissD you hit it on the head....Americans always have been and always will be afraid of "change" no matter who is elected to make the "changes" so all us smart people can do is sit back and wait for our demise!

   I say,If his certificate of live birth(not birth certificate) is legit,
   just come forward and explain the peoples questions.Stop the cover up attemps.
   
   There are many experts who have declared that the document is altered and forged. He needs to face the people and call for an investigation,after all if he's correct he has nothing to fear.They can only prove he was born in the USA. Right?
   
   And ask yourself why are people who investigate and try to legitimize where his birth took place,are arrested and detained.Just google Jerome Corsi.
   
   If there was nothing to hide, why fight transparency.
   He should step up and lay all his cards on the table,and let truth prevail.Unless he's not able to do that.In my mind if you are hiding, something is amiss.
   
   Now I am not sure if he was born in Hawaii or elsewere.I am waiting for someone ,preferably president Obama to provide the proof.
   The people want proof,they have been lied to far too often
   to accept whatever government says.

   i personally do not think he is.  he would not show it for a long time (how hard is it really to get ahold of your birth certificate if you really have one?)

   Mister, obviously you do not understand what Socialism stands for. It has nothing to do with your rights. Socialism refers to a country's Economic system as opposed to Capitalism, not to Democracy. A country can be a Socialist Republic, one has nothing to do with the other.

   There are always irrational people who believe in something against all reason and common sense.  Otherwise, the Church of Scientology wouldn't exist.  All the evidence proves Obama is a US citizen who was born in Hawaii, but well, some people are nuts.

   There wouldn’t be a need to ask this question, if is his records were not sealed!!
   I like him and voted for him, but I can’t answer this question honestly because I don’t know. Only the people who sealed his records know the truth.

   Well according to his birth certificate he was born in Hawaii.  Even if he wasn't, what difference would it make?  Some people like to dispute the pettiest things.  There is more to life than worrying over non consequential facts. 
   
   Instead of worrying about whether or not Obama is born in the U.S., why not worry about improving your neighborhood or supporting causes you believe in? Focus on the things that matter and you will be a lot more productive in society.

    I think that if at the end of his present term, he is considered a failure, it will be because he failed. Simple as that.  If after 4 years, he has accomplished things, made the country a better place to live in, and follows through with half of the things he campaigned on (because no one ever follows through on all of it), then people will not consider him a failure. Republican, Democrat, or in-between, most people are not THAT naive.

    I often question what the government tells me.  I remember “Mission Accomplished” didn't really mean that the mission was accomplished.  I also remember reading a president's lips when he declared “no new taxes” some months before he signed a bill raising taxes.  Then there was the existence of weapons of mass destruction that really didn't exist after all.  I've learned to question because government has taught me not to be too trusting. 
    But, Ive stopped questioning the lame non-issue about Obama’s place of birth a long time ago.  Still, as this thread demonstrates, there are those who continue to promote this distraction with innuendo instead of facts.  They refuse to accept the overwhelming evidence that indicates the President was born in Hawaii.  I now believe the time has come for them to give it up and start looking to uncover real government distortions and half-truths. 
    
    For those who still insist that documents could have been forged and sworn statements could have been coerced, I agree, it is possible.  But I find it very unlikely anyone expected that Barack Obama would one day be a candidate for President of the USA and, therefore, falsified items back in 1961 in both of Honolulu’s major newspapers reporting the birth of a son to Mr. and Mrs. Obama on August 4th, 1961.

    he has a following of people that will go blindly off the side of a cliff and do this willingly.
    
    It really doesn't matter if he is a citizen or not. I personally think he can back up the fact he was born in Hawaii, but who cares. The more important issue is he able to run our country in a forward direction. That is where the doubt lies. Obama is just a puppet like all presidents before him, with the exception of JFK, but we all see where that got him.
    
    Obama will bankrupt this country beyond recognition, if it hasn't already happened, but then again that is the intention and why HE is president. Only he could pull it off. That is why my initial statement of "the chosen one."
    
    Obama has been engineered to come along in the time frame he was presented. he was marked as the president and the Elite put him into office. That is another reason Obama made promises during his campaign but now has proven he has no intention of doing what he said, because he doesn't have to. All he has to do is show up on TV and smile and promise that CHANGE is coming and he can bring it. Most people will get all googly eyed  believe every word he says, but beware as they are just words to guide us into the deepest darkest place this country has ever been.

    By his own standards he is not, more over he would be on his own watch list and possible list of executive orders to assassinate. He is about as unAmerican as any American president has come, with exception to the former confederates George W Bush Jr and Cheney.
