The two are not mutually exclusive views. Mason was not far from right, and the NRA is made up largely of people who are a little bit crazy. That there are many effective ways to enslave people, the most popular currently being excessive taxation and public debt, does not mean Mason missed the mark by much. That most every US institution is made up largely of people who are somewhat crazy does not mean the NRA is an exception.
As for Holder, he is in the first rank of the most corrupt attorneys general in US history. It's clear enough the ATF was ordered not to interfere with Fast and Furious's gunrunning, which means the order originated with either Holder or Obama. He should have been impeached some time ago. Had he been, he wouldn't now have to stonewall a contempt citation. He'd have been better off leaving office before this. Now it's too late. He has to stay where he is in order to shelter the criminals, among whom is himself.
