Excellent! All corporations have built-in selfishness (ego). They are duty bound to increase profits. They are duty bound not to care. Like, for instance, Big Pharma -- cures are bad for profits, so they're illegal.
Corporations create jobs and invest money. Regarding Pharma.there are cures, treatments and prevention. Polio, measles, mumps, rubella, shingles at one form of cancer have vaccines to prevent the diseases. We have antibiotics that will cure infection
Good point Larry Wall, corporations do create jobs. However, this election cycle is finite, which makes any jobs created through political ads a temporary job. Also, these temp jobs add very little value, especially for the losing side.
Corporations create jobs that last for decades. Political campaign jobs are temp. Corporations give to candidates. Do not confuse corporate capital spending with political contributions. If corporations do not show a profit, there will soon vanish.
Good point Larry, but my point is that any political donation is either a waste of money or an attempt at gaining political favor. Corporations would be better served focusing entirely on their business. Great businesses don't need favors.
Corporate favors no--assistance yes. Some proposed legislation is bad for business, corps. try to help people get elected who understand the balance of all factors. Sometimes help is needed getting a stalled permit moved. That candidate gains support

Rod Martin Jr says
World domination is a catchy slogan this year. What we need to seek is worldwide cooperation. People have been dropping the name of Rockefellers and Rothschilds for more than a century. It is time to turn the page.
