Is NASA's exclusive use of metric units a turn off for space enthusiasts?
Metric is a better system. Given all that using anything but metric would be ridiculous, metric is a very simple system, not hard to understand and anyone "turned off" by it is not much of an enthusiast.
actually it would be a turn on. the only place left on the earth that is involved in space and still uses the old system is the U.S.. using metric will make it easier for nasa and for space enthusiasts.
