    Obama's Second Chance

Now that the fate has decreed that Americans live under Obama for four more years, do you think Obama will stop vacillating and make some meaningful decisions on economy and unemployment

Will he also tell Pakistan and Iran  where they got off?

Well maybe this round all the kids will play nicely with him in the sandbox instead of slamming their little shovels over each others head.

In all reality how we see how he does his job, will depend on which glasses we are wearing. To many he did a decent job with the tools he had, to others he was a catastrophe. I think it was somewhere in the middle and I was not disappointed since I had a realistic view of what he or anyone it that situation could accomplish and I look at the next four years the same way.

I never thought President Obama was vacillating.  He has had many plans for unemployement and the economy that the Republicans have rejected.  Maybe this time around he will get a little cooperation.  Our country needs our governnment to work together to find answers to our problems.

As for Pakistan and Iran and everywhere else in the world we need good deplomacy.  We do not need another war -- which is what we would get if he told Pakistan and Iran where to get off.

Unless there is real cooperation between Republicans and Democrats, this country will continue to have problems. In order for Obama to make any meaningful decisions, he will have to compromise with Republicans and get compromise from Republicans.

You know we have to give it to Obama for working with the resources at his disposal. While we might agree that Romney would have aired the White House a little (or not)   sentiments should not be the facts on which to judge. Sure, the economy is declining and unemployment is soaring beyond the roof but then when you look at the facts, this is not the first time America is facing a recession. What's important is that he is trying to amend the crisis which would gulp TIME and even 2 terms might not be enough to clear up the mess. So yes, I believe the president would not just make meaningful decisions on the economy and unemployment but also act on their implementation. They are both monsters that can't be dealt with overnight.

Don't bet on it...But maybe he'll surprise me.  This is the same president that couldn't pass a single budget in 4 years even when he had a super majority of democrats.  His last budget propsal couldn't get one vote from democrats let alone Republicans.  The phrase "meaningful decisions" would require something pro-business.  Any of us that are self employed know that this is the most anti-business administration environment we have ever seen.  I cannot envision hiring anyone in this environment.  Aside from the risk along the lines of the tax code, the regulatory environment is simply smothering.
