Marijuana. Should it be legalized or prosecuted?

So after doing a lot of reading I ran across a rather tumultuous relationship. The relationship between Cannibus and the American People. A good percentage of people are ready for change and acceptance. Example Washington and Colorado passed laws legalizing Cannibus for recreational use. However, will this happen nationwide? I think it should, but how do you feel about it? Why is Cannibus such a "bad" thing. To me it's no worse than cigarettes and those are legal.

Cigarettes have killed millions of people. Marijuana has not killed any one. You can't judge something by if people will drive under the influence or not. look at all the medications which say not to drive. Should alcohol be illegal due to driving?
