Do you believe that the world can change for the better?

Please be honest, and please write from the core of your existence while answering this question. Now if you think it can indeed change for the better, then offer your solution to our issues that you feel need to be changed. (Writing a hub as an answer will score you the best answer for sure, if its indeed the best one of them all, Good Luck!)

Hint do some intense research to account as back up proof of your findings, and solutions.

Note: The purpose of this question is to prompt people worldwide to think long and hard about it all, and not to try and save it, because we need real change.

The world can change for the better. But something always goes bad. So peace or change can survive but not for long.

Anything is possible in this world, and all we can do is hope.

I know it can, but I don't think it will. 10,000 years of civilization and what's the result? Millions of generations making the same stupid, evil, corrupted decisions. We still have wars (in fact, were even better killers now thy we have guns and bombs), we have diseases that are entirely curable (drugs are too expensive), and people die of hunger and thirst miles away from places full of food. We live in a world where helping people is too expensive (great argument, by the way, if you're feeling like you need to justify not helping. "Gotta think of yourself first, no one else will" in this Cold War-esque society), and quite frankly, I've given up prematurely. People kill each other over invisible sky beings, shiny rocks and green paper. People have to steal food or clothes because they don't have enough green paper. This world has great things, and we can't handle nice things.

The only way it can change for the better is if the world starts from scratch.  The way the world is going now it is self destructing and I don't believe in my lifetime I will ever see it change for the good.
